The crowd begins to give Luis a second wind, giving him the power to throw an elbow backwards in to Cartwright's gut.
The blow clearly causes pain from the look on Cartwright's face and the jolt to his body, but The Lad holds on, trying to stop this second wind and win the match!

The suddenly referee steps in to break up the two competitors indicating that time was up for for the first round!

Dang it!
The World Of Sports rules work against Cartwright, as he is forced to release his sleeper hold due to the break between rounds.
Cartwright walks confidently towards his corner, feeling good about how the first round went.
Cartwright knows he had Luis where he wanted him and plans to keep his strategy going as they head in to the second round!

With the hold released and the round over, the Mega Lion walked over to his corner. He leaned back into the post, pondering his next plan of actions as he stared ahead at the smug look on Cart's face. While he wanted wipe the smirk off the Englishman's face, Luis didn't particularly enjoy the slow pace of the match. He'd have to switch it up.
Approaching from ringside, the Atomic Monster held a drink out to Luis. It was none other than a bottle of Bisonade, Boysenberry Blast! The Lion quickly cracked open the bottle, taking a swig from the drink, immediately feeling energizergizing rush from the blend of amino acids and vitamins.

The bell rings to signal the beginning of round two and Cartwright wishes he had some Bisonade on him, but his ultra premium bottled water from an untouched mountain on a far away island will just have to do!
Cartwright approaches the middle of the ring in a wrestling stance, he knows exactly how he wants to approach this, keep this wannabe luchador from flying!

With the second round starting, Luis approached the center of thing. The Mega Lion suddenly sprung forward, diving low to try and open with a single leg takedown!

Cartwright is surprised as Luis bolts forward towards his right leg, taking him down to the mat!
As both men are now grounded, Cartwright looks to get a hold of Luis' head and apply some pressure on the headlock!
JR: "How about that King?!
There's more to Luis than strikes and dives!"
King: "Am I supposed to be impressed by the basics, JR?!
Luis is lucky that he acted ignorant enough to con Cartwright in to it!"

The Lion was caught in the front headlock in the process of the single legged takedown. Still holding onto Cart's leg, Luis would attempt roll forward to catch his opponent in a pin attempt!

Luis repositions himself to cover Cartwright while The Boss is on his back, causing the referee to start counting!
ONE...
TWO...
Cartwright releases his headlock to allow himself to lift his shoulder up!

Well shoot! Almost had that wily Englishman while he was caught up in his own game. As soon as Cart released tye hold and broke the count, Luis quickly rolled away to get back to his feet.

Cartwright slaps the mat in frustration, this wasn't the start to the round that he had envisioned!
Luis returns to his feet at a safe distance from Cartwright, who also returns to his feet while he can.
Cartwright returns to his wrestling stance, it appears that he still has belief in his plan!

With Cart returning to his feet, the Lion would suddenly rush him, looking to leap up and take him back to the ground with a running crossbody.

Here he comes!
Cartwright sees Luis dive towards him with a crossbody and tries to catch him, however he can't get a grip in time and is taken to the mat as the fans cheer!

This was what the Mega Lion was looking for! Luis rolled through, back onto his feet after taking down the Englishman. Making a beeline for the ropes he'd attempt to springboard off the center to hit Cartwright with the Lionsault!

Luis moves gracefully, rotating on his way towards the grounded Cartwright, who looks to put his knees up towards his body for his opponent to fall on!
