The extra taunting before may catch up to you. When Max rushes Trent, he looked to catch that flailing forearm, swing behind his opponent with the arm, and look to place in an early chicken-wing crossface.

Just as quickly as the momentum was going one way, the pendulum turned .. Max found himself quickly transitioned into the crossface, as the crowd watched on in stunned silence at that quick technical maneuver!
Steel cried out as his brain immediately tried to think of a way out.

Trent would begin to twist more on that arm and apply more to the one handed rear choke. Doing his best to try and end this as fast as possible. Just to teach the young guy a bit of a lesson.

The ref moved position to check on Max, more to see if he wanted to tap out than anything. But Steel was exactly that - hard as steel.
He grunted and groaned, and attempted to begin dragging himself towards the nearest ropes.

Trent hadn't forced his opponent to the mat and it was making the difference. Slowly, Max would muscle his way, inch by inch, closer to the ropes as Trent continued to keep the hold locked in!

Slowly, but surely, Max was creeping closer.. closer.. a little more..
Yes! His fingertips reach the bottom rope, as the ref calls the hold off!

Three..
Trent would release before the five count that would disqualify him. Obviously not wanting to cost himself an opportunity. The Initiator would begin to step away from Max after letting the hold go. Waiting for the official to step away so he can continue work.

That move right there had drained Max as he leaned in against the bottom rope, catching his breath and getting up towards his feet. He slowly crawls up, turning to face his more grizzled opponent.

The official stepped away and Trent began to move in back to the tired Max. Looking to grab him by the back of his head and lead him closer to the center of the ring or at least further from the ropes.
It seems like the real match has begun at this point after the lethal hold.

Max was led easily towards the center of the ring, as the crowd watched on with anticipation. A debut match and he had to make an impact, a statement, to have a moment to put himself in the scene.
But here he was, being shown the ropes by this more experience superstar.

Trent led the rookie to the center of the ring and a precise foot aimed at the midsection of Maxwell

The boot connected with Max's midsection as he doubled over, groaning from the strike. He had one hand on his ribs, his other hand reaching out aimlessly to see where his opponent was.

Trent would take the hand that reached out, placing it along the collar of Trents neck. Lifting his opponent to his feet, Trent looked to perform a suplex dead center of the ring!

Max maybe thought he would have had a moment to sort himself out, but he soon found himself planted again on the mat with an impressive suplex. He really was being shown the ropes!

Very technical of Trent. Taking the Young Max to school to show him the basics. Trent would follow the suplex by rolling on top of his opponent for the early cover
