Warm and cozy?! Kyrrha laughed and waved her hands. "No, no, no. Warm for a bath is cozy. Soup would be too hot. I don't want to smell like soup, either." She leaned to look at the crab as Naia tested its linguistic capabilities... and actually sighed with relief at the verdict. "Good." She looked down at her bag of clams and back to the crab. "I wasn't ready for those. It might pinch its way out of my bag." She looked to Naia. "Can it stay in there until we head go home?"

Naia laughed at the youngling's logic. "Fair enough. I do enjoy swimming in warmer waters. The ones around your home here are quite a bit colder." She admitted, crossing her arms as if the memory made her want to stay warm. Admittedly she would need warmer clothing, her tattered shorts and top were not the best to keep cozy in this new climate. "Crabby can stay in there for now. That kelp is tied tightly, but we should secure his claws." She glanced at the crab warily. "Grab me something small for his pinchers?"

Kyrrha looked at the water around them curiously. She had never considered it to be cold, but it was all she knew. Maybe she could ask Aunt Pyrrha if the waters were much different over there! Maybe her Mata would know? She frowned when Naia seemed to show she had a chill. They should probably start heading back then! "Could we find a few more clams on our way back? I want to make sure there's enough for everyone." As for securing the pincers... She looked at her bag and removed the tie. "Here. This is all I have."

Naia rubbed her arms, nodding as she listened. "I'll be alright. Do you have a favorite spot for finding clams? I can do some more swimming along the coast here." But first...time to tie up the crab. "It'll work." Naia took the tie and moved so that she could wrap it around those pesky pinchers. "I almost feel bad, if he wasn't so crabby." She joked, holding up the captive before placing him back into the makeshift net. "Think we should find another crabby, as well?"

Kyrrha turned and pointed along the shore they were on. "Right along here is best. I can only hunt through the really shallow parts, but maybe you could find some deeper in? We don't get to search here often, so there's almost always lost of clams hidden in the sand." Mention of another crab made her smile bashfully. "Maybe if you catch it again? Another crab would be nice.."

"That works. I'll bring them to you as you work in the shallows." Naia smiled and nodded as their plan came together. "You're my check point. Sometimes we use others to help us navigate, especially during rougher waters." They also had floating pieces that would mark safe areas, bobbing brightly up and down in the water. "I'll also keep an eye out for crabs, just try not to use a finger to fish up another." Naia teased as she started back further into the waters to look for clams and potentially a crab to bring back. The first trip resulted in a handful of clams, but so far no crabs as she dropped off the new prizes to the Elaria.

Kyrrha nodded and headed back to where it was easier for her to search. The tease earned another bashful smile and a nod. "No, I know to not hunt that way anymore. I'll leave the crab catching to you." It was delightful to have some company as she worked now. With Naia's help, it wasn't long before her bag grew quite heavy with their catch. "I think we've got enough," she said when Naia returned. She held out the full bag with pride.

"Nice." Naia flashed a grin towards the Elaria, eager to share her newest find as well. "Enough? Should I let go of crabby number two then?" She teased, holding up a slightly smaller crab that was just as angry.

Kyrrha squeaked and jumped back from the second angry crab. After a pause, she giggled and shook her head. "No. I think he needs to be soup, too." She pressed her lips and felt along her clothes. "I don't have anything else to tie it with... Can you carry it? I don't live that far." While bringing a Hapuna to Zinris wasn't going to have the greatest reception, Kyrrha knew her family would understand!

Naia laughed. "Alright, you heard her." She told the crab with an apologetic smile before holding it safely to try and protect her fingers. "I can carry the crab. Feel free to lead the way~"
