Summers was on a roll and was finagling some serious offense in this match up and was looking to continue the assault. He could slow it down a bit, work the crowd, but SIZZLIN' HOT has them where the crowd and Nuke Fusion right where he wants them. Summers felt the welts still forming around his midsection and chest and a grimace appeared across his face but he had to move past it, the match was still early for what he was expecting.
Raising his hands up in the air and shaking them, Summers would charge forward and leap high in the air hoping to come back to the floor with a knee drop delivered to the back of Fusion's head, possibly working it over for a future Pedigree or SIZZLIN' HOT's most lethal maneuver, the Second Rope Fist Drop.

Nuke breathed deep again, a slow rush of nausea coming over him from the pain he was feeling. He turns his head slightly and notices the messy mix of blood, sweat and drool. Ready to get back to his feet, Nuke moves his aching body slightly and goes to..
All that Nuke notices next is his vision goes white and blurry, and the sound of the bloodthirsty crowd is drowned out by the slightly harmonic white noise moving between his ears.
The blood from his forehead pulses a little more, leaving a small trail of crimson across the mats. Perhaps the self-inflicted injury wasn't a good idea, huh?

Finishing the knee drop with style, Summers rolls through and gracefully lands on his feet. Summers groans from lingering pain as he doubles over near Fusion. Thinking he might be able to score a quick one here, the crafty veteran looked to pull Nuke up and drag him to the ring apron to roll him under the bottom rope and into the ring.
This main event was going more favorably than SIZZLIN' HOT anticipated from the start of the match but due to prior events in the show, he seemed more locked in. This wasn't a birthday show, but a funeral show, and Summers was ready to burn the whole place down to get the belt, respectfully because he's doing his one off babyface match to show his range as a character. That way people like a certain former owner of EEW might realize he should stop stifling creative genius.

Nuke doesn't have much about him right now to fight back from whatever Summers wants to do, but luckily for him it's just getting him up to his feet and rolling him in the ring. It goes to plan easily as Fusion rolls in towards the center of the squared circle.
Fusion looks up at the blinding lights above them, which wasn't particularly helping with his current problems with his vision and hearing. It was slowly coming back, but that knee drop really did a bit of work on his cognitive senses.

Summers would slide in behind Fusion as his opponent rolled to the center. Hoping that knee drop was the Magnum Opioid for the Magnum Opus, Summers would look to hook the leg of Fusion and secure the victory. SIZZLIN' HOT may be trying to give the people what they want in the match, but he knew winning would be the most important part for those fans. Except Nuke Fusion fans that had to have paid plane flights from his cretinous borough. Only they could see a man mutilate himself like that and cheer him on. In an alternate reality they're called 'Jon Moxley' 'fans'.

The crowd cheer on as HOT SIZZLIN' gets on top of Fusion and hooks his leg for the first (and maybe final!?) pinfall of the match.
One!
Tw-
A kick out just before the two count, showing that Nuke wasn't done just yet. He huffed and puffed, moving his hands to try and slide the sweaty flesh of Summers off from his own body.
Boy, was it hot in here, he was flush. Or maybe that was the blood rushing from his head...

Glistening under the arena lights, Summers knew Fusion was too much of a competitor to go down that easy. You could tell the crowd knew that this wouldn't be finish. They haven't been seen a knee drop end a match since NSFW in the early 70s when that wasn't just a finish, but an angle. That was how Donnie Krygos became Killer Krygos, legendary draw. There wouldn't be time to make shocked faces in amazement of Nuke's kick out. SIZZLIN' HOT had to act.
Summers rubbed his own bald head that was releasing sweat at a much faster rate due to the heat leaving quicker and pushed himself up onto a knee. Summers would try to pick Fusion up and lift him to his feet to get face to face with the man.

Nuke's vision was coming back to him at last, and he could hear the screams, cheers and jeers from the crowd. But something was tugging at him, pulling him .. and soon he was face to face with Summers in the center of the ring.
A small pool of blood had dripped down Nuke's face and in to his mouth, the taste of iron building up. Fusion swirled it inside his mouth for a moment and.. spits it right at the face of SIZZLIN' HOT!

Nuke was always an experienced spitter from his time touring Japan. The perfect atomization of the blood fluids left a pristine spray across the face of Summers. Though not lacquer-like in finish, a solid back roll behind the spray could provide a nice even coat across the face of SIZZLIN' HOT, it was not necessary due to the blood's natural leveling capabilities. To keep the blood's natural cover, you'd probably need to coat it in a sealant and avoid as much oxidation as possible.
However Summers wasn't looking for a blood stained face, he staggers backwards into the ropes while flailing his arms and trying to spit out any residual blood near his mouth. The veteran's momentum into the ropes would however send him blindly back towards Fusion, now blinded and possibly with disease. SIZZLIN' HOT would be an unsuspecting victim in this competitive caper for the EEW World Championship held by many people well known to both Summers and Fusion.

Fusion wiped away some more sweat and blood from his brow, please with his antics as he smiled with some crimson teeth, spitting another globule of blood to the side.
Raising his arms up in the air to a mass jeer from the crowd, Nuke looked genuinely disappointed and upset. He cries ******** you all! You all loved me back in that other promotion that we're not allowed to mention!"
This wasn't the time to cater to these fans though, there was work to be done. Fusion runs at Summers and tries to knock him over the top rope with a clothesline!

Summers was blinded not by the light, but by the blood of Fusion which prevented him from seeing the Magnum Opus charging right at him. He wasn't deaf though. He heard Nuke yell out to the crowd thinking that they had all of a sudden turned their backs on him. He was wrong, these fans were never on his side. EEW, unlike the mark promotion, was full of smarks. Anyone that watched any Experience or Drive-Thru recently knew that Summers was a WON sweetheart. They smart crowd saw the worker through the a** kissing and backstage politicks others use to get by. SIZZLIN' HOT was a worker for the people.
That said, Summers got worked up and over the top rope by the devastating clothesline delivered by Fusion. Flopping onto the ground, SIZZLIN' HOT was beginning to regret not bringing in at least Paul for this match. A towel could really save the day. Instead, Summers would crawl around on his knees, trying to wipe his face with the inside of his elbow.

In this type of match, it was clear that a referee was only there for a pinfall attempt, but this one was still getting in Nuke's face a little. Saying something about blood, hygiene, yada-yada, boring stuff.
Fusion gives him a little shove away and drops to the mat, rolling under the bottom rope and slowly stalking Summers. He notices him trying to clean up his face and chuckles to himself.
Nuke walks over to the fan who he stole the "SIZZLIN' HOT" shirt off earlier and grabs it again, this time throwing it at Summers.
"Clean yourself up, we have a match to finish!" he yells at his experienced opponent, the man of the people.

Summers felt the damp shirt and decided against his better judgement to use the presumed sweaty shirt that Nuke threw to him. At no point realizing that the shirt had already been covered in blood, he begins to feverishly wipe off with it. He opens up the shirt to see whose merchandise was getting a little extra color. Unrolling the shirt, SIZZLIN' HOT sees his famous 'SIZZLIN' Hustle, Oyalty, Trispect' shirt that was a huge draw at the preshow merchandise stands. A distraught face emerges from the hardened looks of Summers upon seeing his hot new merch being spoiled with reckless abandon. Why not a BOOM shirt? This was a collectable piece of wrestling history. Maybe moreso now.
Summers would rise to his feet gingerly expecting some sort of maneuver from Nuke, but it was clear Fusion was feeling full of himself, which was ironic given how drained his body was becoming. The worker of the people crumbled the shirt in his fist as he looked at Fusion before attempting to throw the shirt in such a way that it would fan out over the face of Fusion to temporarily remove his sight and leave him open for an overhand chop.

Nuke had allowed Summers a small amount of time to clean his face, he wanted this to be a good match after all. Even if he was working his classic heel angle, the showman in him knew that the final EEW match should be a classic.
But what he didn't expect was to get a sweaty and bloody shirt thrown back in his face, obscuring his vision. Fusion blindly pulled off the merch, right before being clocked in the head with a hard CHOP!

Summers lands the ferocious smack to the chest of Nuke. It wouldn't match the slaps that kendo sticks did to Summers, but the shot offered a similar satisfaction to SIZZLIN' HOT as the crowd let out an audible OOOOOOOO. Summers was completely out of character here. A flick switched in his head and everything he would normally s**t on in the back to the boys, he was bringing into this match.
He would grab the shirt off the face of Fusion and cover his own face while presenting his chest to the bloodied warrior in front of him. SIZZLIN' HOT was sparking up his own disgusting take on the chop spot complete with a shared blood shirt. Through the soaked cloth Summers managed to let out a muffled, "Swing ya hand ya pusssseeehhh!" with shades of legendary Braves pitcher Pascual Perez.
