A sudden shout had the man rushing back to help their partner, leaving the two girls to be at the fence and watch the actions of the tamers. It looked like they were trying to control the tall beast, with long horns and a strong hump. Maybe it was from Oba? Pule had never seen such a thing before.
Turning to her sister, she bumped shoulders with her again, "Where to next?"

She blinked as a sudden shout erupted from the man that was directly taming the beast they saw when they arrived. She watched the man she was talking to rush to his partner's aid and watched their skill in action. She smiled lightly to herself before turning her attention back to her sister.
"Hmm,," she said thinking about it where could they head next, she went through her mental notes that she had taken down at each of their visits perhaps it was time to sit down somewhere and regroup have a discussion about it with her sister "I think we should go sit somewhere and reconvene and have a discussion about it, cause there were some things I liked and there were some I didn't".

Nodding, the girl led her sister back through the village and down the path toward their cove home, detouring before they arrived to where both had encountered each other earlier that day. The tide had pulled back further than before - either low tide was active or high tide was back on it's way. Either way, walking on the still damp sand wasn't a bad feeling and Pule pulled out a stick and began to doodle as she waited.
"So what did you like?"

Ha'ulili followed her sister back to their cove home and sat back down on the damp sand, their footprints earlier had washed away from the tide reaching the shore. She took a breath before speaking up. "Well, at the blacksmith didn't like that I would be potentially working in a hot smithy, but I also liked the fact that he put a lot of thought into what he made but thinking outside the box was probably needed for that," she said and then went to the next one they visited which was the toy maker.
"I liked the toy maker because they make toys that bring joy to every child's life but that also required thinking outside the box skill, which I don't really do. I"m more of a color within the lines type of person. But, that is not to say the thought never crossed my mind about how much time and creativity come into play when creating new things" she said stretching out her legs in the sand.

She nodded at the comments her sister made, appreciating how much thought she put into the deicsion. There was always still time, but a little inspiration now meant she could explore it as she got older.
"Yeah, with you liking water, maybe fire isn't the best bet." She added.
It seemed like Ha'ul wanted to really find something that gave her a clear path to follow without too much craziness, "Yeah, like I said, some tasks do require a little experimentation and being ok with failure...like cooking. I don't always make tihngs that taste good..."

"Probably not" she agreed and now that they had reached the beast-taming inquiry there was significant shift in her interest in it she thought about it some more before sharing her thoughts about it.
"Now, the beast taming seemed like something I could do. I mean I could tame all sorts of beasts but have a fond love for marine animals, that way I can still like water but still work a decent career." she said "though as far as I know there aren't any beast tamers in our family so it would be something completely different but potentially something I would enjoy" she said.
Her expression shifted to one of sadness recalling how animals in the wild get hurt and are neglected by their owners "It made me sad to know that animals in the wild got hurt or even got neglected, it definitely tugged on my heart strings." she mentioned. "Perhaps when I'm older I can run an animal sanctuary to continuously protect them and rehabilitated them before releasing them" she said thinking about it thoughtfully. She looked at her sister "what do you think?"

"That would be awesome." She said excitedly, "You would be perfect to take care of animals, and we live close enough to the water you could build a pen. Plus you could visit Kahikina and tame some creatures to bring back here. Imagine!"
She giggled, always wishing they could see the home their fathers came from but understanding they were too young to go.
"I think if you find it exciting, you should do it. Maybe spend a few years learning about the local animals and seeing if you could take care of a few. See if it's a fit."

She nodded her head at her sisters' encouragement "Let's hope so, and this is true we do" she said. Though venturing off to Kahikina to tame some creatures there and bring back here would require some logistics on how to do that without adding stress to the poor animals during transport, she would need to learn how to do that to before she considered it.
"I do find it exciting, and yes I would need to learn about the local animals" she said, she knew a few of the local animals that called Matori their home but she was pretty certain there was more then what she already knew. She smiled lightly before another thought occurred to her "I Hope our dads support the idea of one of their kids being a beast tamer" she said admittedly.

"I'm sure they will as long as you are happy." Pule said softly, giving her sister a hug, "See, I knew you'd find what you were looking for. This is going to be a grand adventure, and as long as it makes you happy it's the right path to follow."
She was happy she had a chance to support her sister in finding something to love, and hoped that Ha'ul was able to do everything she desired in life. It was always great supporting her family, and she couldn't wait for them all to grow older and be successful in their own way.

"I hope so" she said before returning the hug "I wouldn't have figured it out if it wasn't for you spending the entire day with me to figure it out" she said and gave her sister an affectionate squeeze. She was glad that the day didn't go to waste she got some research done about potential careers and it helped her figure out what she wanted out of life.
"Thank you! So much for spending the day with me and helping me narrow down my choices for a career, it was greatly appreciated" she said,that gave her some relief and she was feeling a lot better and ready to learn all she needed to.
