a drummer has to be focused and be in rhythm, if the drummer is higher than hell it could ruin the song (same for everything else but that is beside the point) the drummer i believe has the hardest job, it would be hard to have 3 different beats going at once if your high or drunk

Soul_Havock a drummer has to be focused and be in rhythm, if the drummer is higher than hell it could ruin the song (same for everything else but that is beside the point) the drummer i believe has the hardest job, it would be hard to have 3 different beats going at once if your high or drunk I know! My uncle, who is an extremely talented drummer, can't drink with the rest of his band (Well, the singer, Josh, plays the trumpet at times. Blowing on an instrument and drunk/high = talk2hand .) According to my band class, playing the clarinet drunk is hard, too. xd

well he's sittin there at the drums while everyone else is standing/dancing. there isnt much else he could do besides play em neutral

Sure he is sorta outta place in that band but i guess i am too in my band. Im a calm drummer who carries the beat. The other two boys act like Serji and Daron then the girl is a heavy rocker person.

he does seem a little out of place. but he keeps a good beat through all of their songs so it doesn't matter.

well, there has to be one anchor person who knows what hes talking about, otherwise the band would have direction and they would all be playing differently. You can have all the others doing there own thing, but one person has got to bring it together, thats John. Its like on a news station, youve got a sports guy, a weather guy, and a national news person, but if you dont have a n anchorman to tell them when to do there story they will all look like idiots, because they dont know what to do. Being a drummer myself, i know this responsibility more than most. In my band im calm but im silent like shavo, the guitarist just plays the music and is realy cocky and likes to show off. Then our bassist is crazy, he reminds me of serj most of all.

John is a hot mother ******** just like they all are. But hes just a shy guy with a lot of talent. His attire has somewhat of the same appeal as the rest of them especially in the last two albums. He likes the colors and textures as they do (aside Darons constant need of tight leather pants) but he just shys it off a bit. I think John's whole strategy is not to look like the rest of them so some attention is drawn to him since he is different. His "normal" attire just probably reveals a lot about his personality since he seems to be a lot more quiet then the rest of them...but like i said already..hes a hot mother ********

He's undernoticed!
He cant exatly get up and do funky moves on stage, now can he?
But he's an eccxcellent part of System of a Down.

Okay one he fits in quite well his views and ways are so deep just like Serj's you just dont think he is right in the band because he doesnt speak out as much but its because he doesnt have that urge to. Also hes of armenian descent so he does fit. All that your looking at is that he doesnt dwell on attention and he doesnt act out so hes happy the way he is.
