Liryn (cat form)Out of the other three mauvians, the brown-furred mauvian (Carmen) was the only one that had seemed somewhat familar, albeit not familiar enough for Liryn to recognise the other by name–
Mayhaps he had seen the other in passing at HQ.
Mayhaps.
After all there had been a few occasions where a number of them had gathered–
Although admittedly there hadn't really been an opportunity for small talk on those occasions.
As Liryn followed after the grey-furred mauvian (Tama) in a gait that was more bounce than walk, he hoped that there would be an opportunity to rectify that–
Because it would be nice to meet more mauvians.
He had been slightly behind the calico mauvian (Coco) as he slipped through the little cat flap that had been shaped like a cat and his purplish eyes were bright as he padded closer to the other two.
"I'd love some snacks too" he said cheerfully, because if said snacks turned out to be some of the stuff that he had seen in the glass display on the other side of the cat flap then Liryn was sure that it would be delicious.
Purplish eyes glanced first at the grey-furred mauvian (Tama) that had led them there and then to the calico that had introduced herself as Coco as he added "And it's nice to meet you - I'm Liryn."
For a moment he glanced back towards the little cat flap to see if the brown-furred mauvian had followed them (Carmen) and then Liryn cheerfully made himself comfortable on one of the velvet cushions.

ElissaElissa had been watching the cafe hustle and bustle and had been beaming all the while. The opening day was certainly off to a good start! A good clientele and no mishaps with the product. Not everyone present would become a regular, but with such a varied spread of people, she suspected that there would be some good retention from this crowd. A distinct smell that she could pick out from anywhere reached her: fresh pastries had been made. "Excuse me!" She chirped over to Yuri. "Could I try one of the fresh ones, please?" It never hurt to ask. Maybe the pastries still needed to cool... Justine and MaxineJustine had been drawing the stylish cat on the counter and got so engrossed that she didn't even notice he was gone till she needed to reference his accessories. "Ah, how fickle," she muttered, sighing as she slid her mechanical pencil into the binding of her sketchbook. "Then again, that's a cat." She placed her chin in her hand, preparing to idle. "Now, what to do..." "I dunno, find someone else to draw doing something weird, like you do?" Maxine answered, stretching in her seat. "I'm gonna go bother that guy over there and see what he recommends for drinks. For real this time. Otherwise I might just fall asleep and turn into a pile of bones right here." She got up, did another stretch (full body this time), and strode over to Yuri. "Uh, hey, 'scuse me, if I want a coffee that's strong but doesn't taste like my buddy's inky black soul, what would you recommend?" She was trying to be polite, because being obnoxious and rude took more energy than it needed to, but some habits were harder to break than others. Justine, meanwhile, caught the quip about her inky black soul and scoffed, a small smile that she tried to hide twitching at her lips.

CarmenOh, the other Mauvians were going somewhere. Right. Trying not to openly ask them to wait, Carmen scampered after the others through the cat flap, her claws click clacking as she went. They probably needed a trim, but they were her primary recourse when making Chaos cats and agents regret their decisions, so she was reluctant to subject herself to a clipper. Also, ugh, clippings were annoying at best and potentially painful at worst (not that she let people get away with painful nail cutting for long). "Forgive my tardiness," she said once she was securely in the secret room. "My name is Carmen, and I am pleased to meet you all." She hadn't gotten all their names yet, but she felt she could catch on quickly if any names were dropped. "It's good to see that I'm not alone here."

“One tea coming up!” Yuri said as he grabbed a tea freshly poured. The place was really starting to bustle now and the young man jumped from grabbing orders to suggesting items to greeting customers. He was trying his hardest not to get frazzled as he moved around the tight space. He straightened his apron and tuned to Yukio with the tea. “Sorry for the wait.”One of the two girls that were also working was just starting to put some fresh pastries into the case and Yuri grabbed one off the tray, very narrowly avoiding a collision with the second girl. “This one is filled with jelly. Just baked.” He handed Elissa a flaky pastry shaped ever so slightly like a cat head with two small ears. “Let me know how it is. I’m still trying to get the recipe for that one finalized.” He couldn’t quite figure out if the treat wanted to be a donut or a danish. “I have a dark French roast. It’s full-flavored and a bit bitter.” Yuri said to Maxine, turning to look at the table to see said friend. ✪As the three cats settled in around the table, Tama turned to a small refrigerated unit. The unit had a paw-shaped symbol on it, but otherwise no way to clearly open it. “‘Mew mew wants snacks’”. The cat said clearly, as one does when they are talking to machines… and the paw print glowed for a moment and the door popped open. It was voiced activated. “I have plenty of snacks for those who would like some. Help yourselves. I have everything the cafe serves in here.” He said as he took out a special tray. “And sushi.”He closed the door to the little refrigerator and what was once a solid door was now clear showcasing a full display of the cafe’s signature treats. “My name is Tama. It is nice to meet all of you. This place…” He gestured to the back room they were in with a paw and nodded to the cat that mentioned snacks and a home. “… is open to any guardian cat who wants to meet here. My only request is that no one changes to their human form. We don’t want to attract too much attention with our auras and anything more powerful than our current feline forms could attract unwanted attention.”He plopped a piece of sushi into his mouth and savored the bite. “I wouldn’t want to ruin the cafe atmosphere with any fights.”☆

"Ah, no problem, Yuri, and thank you," Yukio nodded, accepting the tea. He didn't smile – he seemed to never smile – but the tone of his voice suggested that he was pleased. "I'll be back for that scone. Congratulations on a successful opening." With that, he moved away from the counter and took a seat at a small table next to a cat tree with a view out the front windows of the cafe. Sipping his tea contentedly, he watched the swirl of activity at the counter. Poor Yuri was going to need help or a number system to keep things orderly. He thought about those pull-tab number systems that said "Now Serving" and snorted a soft laugh, visualizing people queued up nice and polite. He looked around for more cats and saw the black and white pair loafing peacefully on some of the carpeted furnishings in the cafe. "Pspspsps," he called softly, lowering one hand and wiggling his fingers. He hoped he'd get another cat to come over so he could pet it.

Coco listened and then asked for some sweets and sushi. She nodded at the request to stay in cat form and then said "That's easy for me since I don't have my human form yet, still trying to.." She wiggled her paw about and then said "Get the hang of being me I guess.." She made a face and then said "I recently helped a knight upgrade a ring that was a lot of fun I want to do more stuff like that." She said in a cheerful tone. Coco had a lot she wanted to do and then she wanted to get her human form so she could do stuff with that.

After sorting the fresh treats into the glass display, one of the workers grabbed a scone while staring at an order slip. It took them a moment to find the owner of the scone. Placing the plate next to Yukio’s tea, it had a little paper doily under the cat-face shape of the scone. Moonbeam heard the man call and gave him a sleepy look before turning around and going back to sleep. But Sunshine mewed once and hopped down from their perch to sniff the man’s hand. ✪“I suppose all are welcome as long as they don’t fight, even Chaos cats. The same rules apply.” He didn’t have his human form either, but how he wanted it! Still, he supposed there was a benefit to this form. It was very easy to be inconspicuous as a cat, especially in a cat cafe. “Ah! Knights. They could always use a hand from one of us Mauvians.” His certainly did. ☆

Yukio peered up at the cafe worker over the top of his little round sunglasses. "Oh, thank you very much," he nodded. He hadn't expected table-side service, but that was really a nice touch. Plus he'd gotten his scone. Looking down at the cat face-shaped pastry sitting neatly on its doily, he allowed the faintest hint of a smile. Yes, Nekosuke was going to have a regular customer in him. One of the two cats sunning themselves came over to investigate him, which filled him with delight. "Hello," he said softly, letting them sniff his fingers before cautiously petting the feline's head. "Pleased to meet you." Quote: Yukio is open for interaction with anyone! heart

Coco nodded at the knights comment and then she went about eating her yummy snacks. She was enjoying herself at the cat cafe and she wanted to visit often and talk more with the others of her kind.

Liryn (cat form)Liryn had found himself dithering a little over the choices on offer, because there had been so many interesting choices–
But after a little bit of careful consideration he had opted for sushi and some of the shortbread.
"It's nice to meet you too Tama" he said cheerfully, his purplish eyes turned to look at the brown furred mauvian for a moment "And also you as well Carmen."
His gaze turned back to Tama and for a moment his voice turned serious "And whilst I can turn into the other form, I won't do it here" because whilst Liryn enjoyed having hands because it was useful to have hands sometimes, he was equally aware that the aura that he gave off in the other form was very, very noticeable.
The cheerful note was back in his voice however at Coco's mention that she had helped a knight with a ring upgrade "That's neat" he said, in between mouthfuls of the sushi that was everything he could want in sushi - namely fish.
"I've been helping out a knight too, although I don't really know much about knights. I've been too her Wonder though and it's pretty interesting although there's a lot of snow."

Sunshine let Yukio pet her, tilting her head into his hand. She seemed to like his voice and the attention she was getting. Her tail quivered happily. Moonbeam glared her way from his perch. For a moment, the cat seemed to considering coming down. Then he yawned and curled back up for a nap. ✪“I’ve been to one wonder and one homeworld.” He replied after stopping to think. “Such strange worlds, all varied and different from each other.”☆

Liryn (cat form)Liryn gave Tama an excited look, the sushi momentarily forgotten "What were they like?"
He remembered the sushi after a few moments and ate the last of it before admitting "The knight that I've been helping isn't the only Wonder that I've been to and I've been to a few home worlds too, but I really want to see more of them."
Truthfully if Liryn had his way then he would visit all the Wonders and senshi home worlds–
Although he would settle for seeing as many as he could.
