Grand Entrance: "I CAME IN LIKE A WRECKING BAAAAAAAALL" I sing loudly as I slide along the ice just barely managing to keep upright as I aim for a snow drift. I speed into the mound of fresh powder, exploding it into a million fractals of ice and sunlight glittering off of each flake. When the snow flurry clears I'm on my butt grinning ear to ear in the ruined snow drift.

Grand Entrance: Spazzy gets a good running start, but trips over some pebbles embedded in the ice and lands face-first. Ouch. Still, there’s momentum there despite the failed start, and she slides across the ice for about 10 yards! Let's just... ignore the fact that there's now the imprint of a face dented into the ice.

Grand Entrance: Nova hummed, watching others flit about gaily with snow before scooping some into his hands. He was packing a ball carefully, less used to snow and... Cheeer than most, and when he was done, there wasn't some big show, no fancy interpretive dance, not even his usual smile and wave. He simply threw his snowball as hard as possible, before nervously shoving his hands in his pockets. "...Well.... At least it's better than some stuff I could do today." Looking at you, Elf Bowling.

Grand Entrance: Well... that was... something. In spite of their best attempt to safely slide across the ice, they lost momentum less than halfway across. With a huff and a sigh, they slipped, skid, and slid across the remaining distance to the winter fun that lay just ahead. Paws, hooves, didn't seem to matter on ice. Traction was not a thing.

Grand Entrance: The Northern lights curled and danced in the sky above, with the snow reflecting the vibrant hues below. From across the snowy plains trod the wonderer. Around her was nothing but the silent empty; the silence so deep one could feel it in their bones, and the stars and ribbons of light above. Her crystallin hair flowed free from her hood, picking up the colors of the night above her, and creating a hued aura around her head. Not a word was said as she walked, as though the world had hushed at her appearance, and waited with baited breath at her approach.
She had almost completed her approach when the world decided it held it's breath long enough, and let out a gusty breath; blowing snow in her face and hair, and hiding her in the icy swirls. 'Dang it!' she thought, whipping the snow off her face. 'So close to a perfect entrance!'

Grand Entrance: Decked out in snow gear, Blue approached the ice 'carpet' at a run. Using it as a slip-n-slide she threw herself onto her belly to slide down the ice. She made it a pretty good distance, around 12 or so yards before slowing down to a stop. She laid there for a moment regretting the full body slam she did when she hit the ice before crawling the last 4 yards to get off. She was muttering something about hot chocolate and finding a warm bed to rest in as she finally stood up and got off the ice.

Rita slowly walked through the winter field and onto the ice. She skated unsteadily until she recovered. She skated faster and then did an elegant twirl. She twirled and twirled a total of nineteen times and then did a small leap. As she skated around the corner she became unsteady again and slid, right into a snowbank. Oomph!

Grand Entrance: A true critical failure, as always, the ungainly Wyvern placed a wing tip gently upon the ice and immediately felt it slip out from underneath her. Thwump, crunch! A bit of blood stained the ice as a badly bitten tongue flopped out from between reptilian lips. "Ow... muh tung..."
This couldn't possibly be a prelude of what's to come could it?

Doc Goth came running full blast onto the sheet of ice. Seems that the snow and ice are definitely not platform boot user friendly. Coming to a halt she thought all was safe until a loud 'CRACK' broke the icy air.
Plunging into the the artic water she doggy-paddled to the nearest shore line. "Guess I am a member of the polar bear club now" she signed and smashed her head into a soft chilly pile of snow to hide her shame.

Grand Entrance: Yes! It was finally here! At long last, winter had come and with it the winter wonderland. Kaya had never been good at containing her excitement, especially during this time of the year. The snow, the ice, the cold, it was quite possibly her favorite. So, it came as no surprise that she barreled her way through the snow and aimed for the center of the ice, taking little heed of the slippery surface as she launched herself on to it. Two good steps and then ZOOM...across the ice she went, somehow managing to stay on her feet for a whole five seconds! Thirteen yards later, she lay spread eagle where she stopped, laughing and enjoying the rush of exhilaration.

Grand Entrance: Generally she didn’t like the cold, it was too dry in the air and she stayed in more….doesn’t like being well COLD! But there was one thing she always loved and that was playing in the first snow and sledding and building a snow man! Contradictory ain’t it? Haha, how she liked it and how she hated it! Hated being cold but wants to do all the activities that go along with it! She finally was braving the chill, crisp air venturing to the best mountain locale. She was only 8 yards out when she tripped and slid into a giant snow pile…..!

Grand Entrance: Who needed luck when you had skill? Years of sock sliding across wooden floors had prepared her for this day. Just her, twenty yards, and nothing but ice. All that was missing was the opening piano to Old Time Rock and Roll.
A good running dash was the start, then her woefully tractionless boots his the ice and it began. Three yards with a wink. Six yards with a flip of her hair, short as it was and entirely unnoticed under her beanie. Nine with a twirl and a pose. Twelve with a fist of victory hoisted into the sky.... Then fourteen, with her weight shifting back onto her heel, causing her feet to slide out from under her and sending her right onto her a**.
Hey, at least she made it this far, right?
