Muroki reached down and nuzzled the tiny purple-grey 'mane' in a friendly fashion. He was a smart cub but somethings he clearly didn't know yet. The ex-Dawnwalker'd be happy to teach him all he needed to know; but the adult was starting to wish his mate Hisani was here to help. He missed his golden girl, as silly as that was.
"No problem....you need to start eating meat because your mother would eventually stop producing milk, and one day, you'll need the strength meat brings to catch the next meal."

Speaking of Hisani, her yearning calls catched Muroki's ears. She was still far from them but no doubt it was her. Who else would call his name in such needy and missing manner?
It's not that Hisani couldn't survive without him but he just felt safer when he was around. He was her bodyguard after all.
Soon her figure and scent were catching Muroki's and Kigao's senses. She seemed like searhing someone. Her mate perhaps?

Kigao licked his mouth and tried to get used to the new smells and taste from that meat it still feel diffrent but he probably get use to it...it filled his stomach pretty good..
" But it is still weird...But i belive you but i think milk is better and easier "
He now tought growing up must be hard specially when your own parents can't even take care off you...

Muroki's head raised and his dyed ears flicked towards where his beloved 'Goldie' must surely be. He could hear his name being called. And Kigao did need to meet her...no time like the present. Picking up the strap that held his mother's skull, he stood again.
"C'mon Ki'o tim to me't mm'Sani" He spoke oddly because of the strap as he started to pad towards his charge and mate. Bodyguard indeed.

Kigao couldn't hear her at all his sight and hearing wasn't as good as an adult he was still a baby so he couldn't concentrate that good yet. He started to lick his paws a little before he walked after Muroki...Kigao was woundering how his girl could look?

((I'm sorry that I went away for such a long time. I got sudden visit by a cousin/best friend who took all my time. And then easter came.... sweatdrop ))
Some time Hisani needed to search, until she noticed the lion that could be her beloved mate.
"Muroki!" she called outloud, more exited now and spung into high gallop towards him. She didn't even though the lion could be someone else. She was sure he was he.

Kigao perked his ears in the female direction when he heard someone all Muroki's name...he tried to spot what it was but his sight wasn't as good as an adults where...he looked up at Muroki he probably knew..
" Who is that? who is calling you? "
Kigao wisperd to Muroki shyly...he decided to stand behind one off Muroki's front legs so he was protected if there was something bad facing them...but it was probably nothing dangerous..

"Hisani!" He called back, ready with a smile and a nuzzle for her when she came close. He'd missed her and Muroki was surprised. Usually he was the one who found her - it was a nice surprise. Proudly he held his head up, purring to the younger male;
"...this is my mate I mentioned." Oh how he hoped they'd get along. He couldn;t leave a cub alone to be hungry and in danger. And after all the time he's spent with Hisani he couldn't leave his love either. But the gods, by the Sun, let them get on.
"My golden one, this cub is Kigao. Kigao, this is Hisani."

Hisani almost made Muroki fall, so exited she was about seeing him. She had been able to find him! This had bee nne of those rare times she even dared to go wander alone. She felt so proud now that she had been capable to track him.
"Bad Muroki, bad!" she scolded him when answering to his nuzzle, yet her voice was filled of love and the feeling that comes when you meet someone who you had been missing dearly.
But when she noticed Kigao, she freezed. This cub, who was he? Muroki had introduced him as Kigao but still, Hisani was confused, afraid even. Who was this cub, this Kigao? In her eyes, he resembled a bit Muroki. And even that bit was enough to make her uncomfortable. He couldn't.... He couldn't....
"Muroki, whose cub he is?" she demanded to know, looking at her mate confused, kind of jealous, unsure and afraid look in her eyes. He coudln't.... He couldn't....

Kigao moved himself when he saw the two lions nuzzeling eachother he didn't want them to step on him in all the excitement...he looked up at the female Muroki called Hisani she was pretty and diffrent from Muroki she reminded a little off his own mother but younger...
" Oh nice to meet you Hisani "
He said and smiled...but the female looked confused was she mad? didn't she like him? he perked his ears backwards and looked down...was there something wrong with him?

"Dearheart, his mother left him out here alone. I offered to look out for him...didn't I Kiago?" He followed her gaze towards the cub, who'd moved out the way of their joyful reunion. Muroki tried to think what might cause such an unexpected reaction.
He didn't know if he should lick Goldie's cheek to reassure her or go sit by the cub to reassure him. The younger male's ears had flicked back, a bad sign. The beautiful female's eyes looked terrified he was about to annouce he was running of with cub's mother...Oh. Oh! Oh no. Surely she knew he'd never cheat on her?
"... Sani, you didn't think he was mine did you?" He frowned gently, hoping he'd got that wrong. She did trust him, please, she did, had to...? His love was the only one he never lied to.

"Oh..." Hisani let out, while her heart calmed down a bit. She was trusting him, even though she had her unsure times. In a way, she was naive but hey, Muroki was her mate. Why wouldn't she trust in him?
Her expression was changing from terrified to embarrased. She could feel the warmth on her cheeks. Oh, she wanted to just crawl under the ground now, so embarrased she was. "He is sandy, just like you," she said meekly, hoping he wouldn't laugh to or even worse, be mad to her.

Kigao liked the female's look better even if she still didn't look so all happy she didn't seem mad anymore..just embarrased? Kigao was very sure this male wasn't his father at all..
" The color off the fur comes from my mother and the markings and such i got from my father.. "
He smiled towards Hisani maybe that helped her a little...being an adult seemed hard and complicated..and finiding a mate seemed hard too but he didn't understand was was so funny about that girls was just silly for him..

The young adult was a little hurt, as he always was, when Hisani doubted him for a short while. But Muroki supposed he was at fault somehow. It was a little odd, a lion trying to look after a cub he had not fathered. It was usually lionneses who took in stay cubs and attempted to adopt them.
"I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, San. Anyway. Kiago - " He paused to pick up the skull-on-a-strap again and manvuer it round his neck, so his mother's bones rested in the hollow of his back. "- have you finished you meal?"

Kigao blinked being and adult seemed hard but he didn't want to be trubble for Muroki or Hisani..they seemed to have there own trubbles..he still felt a little nervous and he saw that Muroki had a serious look on his face..
" Umm yes i have... "
But eating this kind of food was very new to him well everything was..
He smiled and looked at the peices that was left off the dead animal milk was still better but he guessed this was good too adults ate this food so he could probably start now...he puffed Muroki's leg a little...he didn't know if they would take him in at all...maybe Hisani didn't want him near Muroki at all..
But Kigao was wrong actually both Muroki and Hisani took Kigao in and he hoped he wouldn't bother them to much since he was a cub and not there cub. The little cub got very attached to the male lion he even happend to call him father sometimes even if he knew that Muroki wasn't his real father.
Muroki told Kigao that they where heading towards the dawnwalkers land to build up Muroki's old home and that home was going to be Kigao's new home. Finally this all got a happy ending.
