She has a powerful sense of order and is a crusader for all that is right. For much of her life, Joan has been the subject of scorn for her bluntness and lack of feminine social graces. She is determined, honest, honorable, and kind although she can be blunt and overly serious. However, she will be kind to those in need or people who show her any degree of genuine courtesy. This causes her to be very loyal to her meister as well as her friends and loved ones. She is stern and only feels comfortable when she is in her weapon form. Joan sees her weapon form as an opportunity to fade away from her own troubles, faults, and worries in order to become the perfect blade.

BIOGRAPHY: Joan was born to Mason and Louise Augustine in a wealthy neighborhood of Death City. The Augustines have a proud noble heritage from France that goes back a long way. Her parents moved to Death City to work as corporate executives. Joan had a wealthy jetsetting childhood with a lot of pressure from her wealthy, conservative parents to be lady-like. Her parents were loving but she had many arguments with her mother trying to undermine her dreams of following her talents as a Death Weapon at the DWMA. Her desire to follow this dream was enflamed by a tragic experience where she helplessly watched her friend get murdered by a man trying to become a Kishin. She successfully escaped but was plagued by guilt from her inability and cowardice. She vowed that she would join the DWMA and become stronger to prevent that from ever happening again. Joan seeks redemption and hopes to become a competent weapon.
Joan joined the DWMA at the age of thirteen after a falling out with her parents. She was a weapon without a compatible Meister for some time before she met her true meister two years later. She found him lost on his first day and helped him find their classroom together. They were paired together and class and she discovered that he would be a competent greatsword meister for her. She was a serious student with few friends but developed a friendship with her meister. The DWMA's goal is for Joan to push him to be more serious.
CLASS: Weapon โจโจโจโจDual Alterer โจ Weapons of the Dual Alterer Path are demon weapons focused on serving as the sole weapon for one meister. Dual Alterers gain two additional perks for their primary weapon type. Additionally, the Dual Alterer receives one extra perk for every level attained when they remain loyal to only one meister. ARCHETYPE: Ruler โจโจโจโจ Ruler souls tend to value order and have the tenacity to defeat chaos. Their wavelength is generally quiet with an occasional blip. Rulers are tough but slow and inflexible. They gain 1 point to guts but lose 1 point in dexterity. Rulers gain two perks in a guts skill. Rulers gain +25 spirit per level up for a total of 125 at level 5 if Meister class. Weapon Class rulers gain 1 additional perk to any weapon skill. Witch Rulers are able to hide their soul from soul perception at 1 level higher once every five posts. Madness influence rulers at one tier lower, not stacking with anything else that grants this innate resistance. In soul resonance, rulers are highly compatible with heroes, sages, and everymen and incompatible with outlaws. They are neutral with all other archetypes. STAMINA POOL: 200 SOUL COLOR:Blue
GREATSWORD Tier One โฏ Conan the Barbarian โฏ When a Greatsword technique is performed, an additional slicing wave of wind will be dispatched from the sword that is one level lower than the original technique for no stamina or action cost. This perk has a five post cooldown. โฉ โฏ King Arthur โฏ A Greatsword technique becomes one level higher to dodge up to level five. This perk has a five post cooldown. โฉ โฏ Talos โฏ A Greatsword technique becomes one level stronger up to level five. This ability has a five post cooldown. โฉ โฏ Stormfang โฏ The Storm Gale technique can be boosted by one level once per five posts. This perk can be stacked with other greatsword perks. Tier Two โฏ Dragonslayer โฏ When a Greatsword technique is performed, an additional slicing wave of wind will be dispatched from the sword that is the same level as the original technique for no stamina or action cost. This perk has a five post cooldown. Requires the Conan the Barbarian perk. โฉ โฏ Cloud โฏ Once per five posts, the Great Spin Defense can defend against one level higher enemy techniques and spells. Tier Three โฏ Master of War โฏ The Earth Severing Blade technique can be used twice per battle and the one hundred foot range of the final slash is doubled.
SAMURAI Tier One โฏ Hirokin โฏ The samurai slashes the air so powerfully with a samurai technique that a surge of cutting air following the blade. This airblade is one level lower in power than the original technique at a minimum of level one. This ability has a five post cooldown. โฉ โฏ Art of the Sword โฏ The samurai meditates so one samurai technique is boosted one level higher, up to five. This perk has a five post cooldown. โฉ โฏ Weeaboo Blade โฏ The Samurai is able to strike an additional opponent with an attack without dividing the power of the attack. โฉ โฏ Falling Sword โฏ Once every two posts, using a level three or lower technique against another level three or lower technique allows the samurai to reflect the defended-against technique back at the opponent.
GREATSWORD โจ Great Swing | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Stamina The wielder swings the greatsword with a scaled level of stamina behind the swing at an opponent. The higher the level of stamina applied the more powerful the swing will be against enemy techniques and spells. The greatsword is swung with so much force that it cuts the air and increases the range of the slice five feet per level. โจ Sharp Gale | Level 2 | Tier 1 | Stamina The user swings the greatsword with so much force that it cuts through the air and generates a gust of wind. This gale takes the shape of the sword and travels forty feet, cutting down all in its path. โจ Great Spin Defense | Scaled Level | Tier 2 | Stamina The greatsword is slashed in a three hundred and sixty degree spin. This whips up a sharp tornado of greatsword slashes that will cut down any weaker enemy techniques or spells. This is primarily used as a defensive technique.
SAMURAI โจ Sword Slash | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Stamina The samurai is able to apply a tiered amount of stamina to a blade that they are swinging. A stabbing maneuver can also suffice under the usage of this technique. โจ Bladed Block | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Stamina The samurai is able to use a blade to block incoming techniques or spells. By applying a scaled amount of stamina while using a blade to rebut an enemy technique, they are able to block the technique. โจ Sword Fang | Level 1 | Tier 1 | Stamina After previously positioning three swords so that they stand parallel to one other in the ground, the samurai strikes all of their blades simultaneously with a powerful swing directed near their sunken tips, causing the entirety to slash upwards in a single violent movement that is reminiscent of a fang. โจ Vertical Line | Level 2 | Tier 1 | Stamina Commonly performed as a branch of Sword Fang, the samurai has three Infinite Swords float in front of them vertically. The samurai then hits the end of each sword's grip one by one. Each sword glows with energy as its cutting power is drastically improved and able to cut through anything.
