Ah I just remembered a really cute story from last Easter ^^ I dressed up in a really nice dress I bought on clearance ^^ I think it was supposed to be a prom dress... It's not exactly lolita, a little more goth I guess.... but it's cute and I like it a lot. Because I can't describe things worth crap, I have doodled a pic of it. --> http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/8513/easter7zn.png I was also wearing a little crown to go with it ^^ Anyways, I wore this outfit when my boyfriend and I went to eat lunch with his family. His cousins little girl was about 3 or 4 at the time and when she saw me, she started following me around ^^ She kept tugging on my skirt and saying 'Look! Look!! A princess!' It was sooooo adorable! I wish I could see her again this Easter, but I have to work ;___; Maybe I'll stop by her house sometime and visit her ^^

Ah. I've gotten alot of "I never knew there was a maid in our school" or even the old Halloween crack..which irks me to no end...I'm rather mean person when teased and can act rather rude when provoked..I've been known to kick with my plats...and then on days when I'm not dressing Lolita it's goth for me..and living in the rural area I'm in you can probably imagine what I get. I did happen to meet a Lolita at Borders and she obsessed over how cute she thought I was which flattered me and made me blush quite a bit. But it's worth it in the end!!!

I honestly havn't had anyone say anything nasty to me like that at all yet. But its mostly cuz I don't have any lolita style cloths made for myself as of just yet. Yeah unfourently I can see a lot of the losers in this town getting off on yelling at incocent people that just look a little different then others do. I got followed around my town almost to were it could have been stalker material by some random guy and his friend in their van. While I was walking from my school to the downtown (which is only like three or four blocks away from each other so not to far.) And he kept yelling at me that he wanted me to stop and get with him in his car (which wasn't even his to begin with..he was in the passenger side and was just convicing his friend to drive his sorry a** around). All I was wearing was regular t-shirt and a mini dress and some knee high colored hose. I wanted to wear somthing nice out that day cuz it was the first day of the year that the temp and weather outside was actually fairly nice. And because I wear my cloths a little down I was treated like a common prositute..people like that make me seriously want to poke. You'd think people would have more maturity.

sweatdrop I was barely even dressed lolita the day this happened (I have like NO clothes)
Anyways, I was walking down the hall as normal and this one guy approached me. He is the jerkiest, most obnocious guy in school and many people dislike him. When he got close to me, he cut me off and put his hands on my shoulders. He leaned in real close and asked "Is that you Grandma?" I was fuming. I pushed him hard in the ribs so he was out of my way. sweatdrop I was in school so I didn't do what I wished I had done.

lol another story, more people gwaking at me none the less while walking in my neibour hood.
anyways i was walking to my bfs house a few hours ago and im wearing my big black boots with buckles up the sides, they go to an inch under my knee, a black shirt with a black collar peaking out from under it; short sleeved and strechy, pretty tight, i look hot. and a (blah i didnt know what to wear this morning i grabed one skirt didnt like it and grabbed another) any ways its a (get ready for this alliteration) a pink plaid pleated mini skirt. no stockings I SHAVED biggrin DDD
any ways
i was walking and some jr high ers are walking on a street that buts up to the main road and i can hear them saying "omg she walks around like that?" and another goes " i think its cute, i would wear those boots" "its wired" "dont go be all talking about some one like that while they are right there" "thats ugly but she has a pretty face" "but i would so wear those boots, they are cool" "yeah i would too"
and they faded away
i was flatered. i can understand thier shock though, this is houston, the urban look is normal here. i was flattered. now i feal purdy. yay purdy face. rofl

@Cloudy: Everybody calls my boots "brainsmashin' " boots.(those are just my normal docs) Here you're either 1-Elderly 2-Teenager. There's a lot of underground styles that the people crawl out of their homes at night so during the day you have to run into good old grandma asking question about your ''get-up'' of the day.

There isnt to much of a problem here in Oklahoma. I have always worn very elaborate or strange clothing. Most people who say anything will say things like "Thats very neat, creative, cute, diffrent, ect" Silly thing is most people talk about my hair rather than my outfits. (Pink with blue tips at the moment but its always pink with something) I'm not always Loli though. I like dressing to match my moods. My folks just think loli suits me best.
College students stair alot though. (I'm in my 2nd year) Just FYI

Well, I live in Nebraska.
And there are not many lolitas here.
I mostly get a lot of strange looks, and the like. I walk home, and many people yell out their car windows. Examples?
"Dark powers unite!" I still do not understand that one... I was dressed in sweet lolita.
"Freak" "Crazy" and the like.
It honestly does not bother me anymore. X3
I have worn a Kimono to school, many times, and with that, I was asked if I was wearing a shower curtain x___o
Still not sure why...
Also, my teeth are not very normal xD
I go to the dentist, and get 'caps' put on, so my eyeteeth are.... 'slightly' longer. That gets a lot of questions.... examples again!
"How do you eat?" "Do you drink blood?" and my personal favorite "How do you give head" X__X
And my winter coat is a full length black and crimson cape.
Which is strange, due to the fact that most often I do dress in sweet lolita....

Bunnietenou Silly thing is most people talk about my hair rather than my outfits. (Pink with blue tips at the moment but its always pink with something) I'm not always Loli though.
Right now my hair is pink and red but it's from jello packets so it shouldn't last much longer.
My hair is always some kind of color, but I dont like to use big dyes. It just keaps it from dieing completely cause by now I'd be bald if I did

I get little kids asking their mothers why I'm wearing a crown or fluffly dress, and usually their moms say something like, "I don't know, but she sure is pretty, isn't she?"
I think little kids make their parents more kindly disposed to lolis because the kids want to believe in fluffy fairy tale stuff more heart

I'm so happy! ^^ i had my first gig with my band last night, and it went soo well. I also plucked up the curage to wear my full out lolita clothes..and i felt amazing. I also got an amazing response! Everyone said that i looked so cute and that it really suited me ^^ hehe i am on top of the world right now... p.s. i will have pictures within the next few days...the photographers going to send me the images in the post (: if anyones interested in our band, please do visit our myspace! (sorry about the shameless plug lol!)

See I have very small teeth next to my insisors, I mean really small. so it looks like I have fangs. I also have 3 tongue piercings called venoms (venoms and fangs, lovely mix) so people think I'm a freak. I am really nothing like a freak though, I just like all sorts a fashion!
