Day #30 Theme: Finish/Improve Time spent: not sure, well over 30 minutes though
Comments: I finished coloring, fixed some wonky lines (which unfortunately I had to do frame by frame, it was only like 4-5 frames I had to fix but still) and animated the feather. For some reason exporting it as a gif messed up the coloring on the first frame and I have NO IDEA why, I can't fix it cuz it's fine in the file itself, it's just the rendered gif that's messed up and I don't have time to fix it sad

Day #31 Theme: Osaka Castle, Japan Time spent: 30 minutes cuz i won't do any more my head hurts x.x;
Comments: so I started laying guidelines then was a bit too big so my guidelines were useless so I just started from the top and went down and idk what up is or down is my brain hurts and angles are a mythical creature good night
Day #36 Theme: Spirit Challenge p3 Time spent: About 5 hours
Comments: I got the front rendered!!! It was a battle, especially coloring all the small details, and I got up a little earlier than usual to be able to finish (and stayed on the comp way later than usual cuz we left the house for a couple hours during the day RIP), but the front is rendered!!! Honestly one of the reasons I avoided doing character sheets is because I never....cared enough to give myself good art? I'm not sure if that makes sense, but omg this looks so good and I'm really....proud of the work. Yeah it's not perfect but yanno what it's one of my better pieces so idgaf Also I played with the colors a bit. I wanted the red to be, like, this velvet and the boots I reference from were velvet so I was like 'why not bring the red down from the corset into the boots?' so I did and idk they're kinda funky but at the same time kinda cool? And I added purple accents to tie the purple from the belts into the rest of the outfit.

Day #37 Theme: Koala Time spent: 30 min
Comments: Me: I have a great idea to draw! Also me: *can't find pose reference, still can't find pose reference, running out of time* ah ******** it I'll spend 30 minutes doodling koalas =n=
Day #38 Theme: Color Palette Time spent: Hours lul
Comments: So I used the palette to play with some animation basics, the gold/orange as a 'control group' (so no squash/stretch), then varying degrees of elasticity to the balls down the gradient, with the darkest one being stiff and the lightest one being very elastic. Then I just played with presentation and stuff for a while for flare cuz fun xD

Day #39 Theme: Kangaroo Time spent: A while trying to study/find references, a few failed attempts, then about 30-45 minutes on the final product
Comments: Just a "quick" study, a lot of the videos I was looking at had a lot of head on or angled shots, not many good shots of a side view. I feel like there's a pose missing but I can't seem to get a good enough reference to spot where it is.
Day #40 Theme: Finish/Improve Time spent: 40ish minutes?
Comments: Kinda hopped around on projects cuz I wanted to work on the alpaca one, but as I was working on the fence I realized I don't have everything I need for that scene so I decided to switch gears and go back to the ostrich and I'm kinda burned already today so I spent a lot of time rewatching and studying the ostrich footage and just kinda ran out of steam before finishing. It's improving just slowly
