“That is true...but my princess was also able to invite several to her wedding here. There may be a time, or a reason, that magic will allow for more. Magic is rather hard to predict like that. Perhaps if we have the need our wonders and home worlds will answer and allow us safety, allow us to bring others as well.” Perhaps that would be how their homes were repopulated. She didn’t like the idea, having to run to space for safety, but it may be how things would go. She didn’t like the idea of fate, that it was predetermined to go like this, so she didn’t use that term.
“Nothing to be sorry for. You have questions and want to learn - to understand. Not just myself but in general. It’s fine. We all need to learn.” And normally she wasn’t one for talking, not this much, but it was ok. She had to push back the usual feelings she got when dealing with people, and being questioned by them, because this was special and she knew that. It wasn’t always easy, especially not at first, but she was learning and improving.
“It’s not easy to know what will happen or why things are as they are - if they’ll change. This is all trial and error it seems like.” And for each person it might be different.

I’m not sure I’m ready to take on such a trial… Not if it was already something destined to fall apart and fail.
“When the time comes, will you be there?” The day he decides to answer the call, Slidr did not want to go alone. It may seem cowardly or make him less of a man to ask for help but he already tried to tackle this head on by himself once before. Perhaps that was where the error was.
“You had offered to mentor me in the past. If that is still open, I’ll listen.” A second chance to try things again. To walk along a similar path but hopefully the destination would be different this time.

“I’ll be there when the time comes. I had someone there for me and I will be there for you. I would like to see your wonder anyway.” She wanted to see as many as she could, though she really still had issues with people and being social. It made seeing other wonders, or talking to other people, hard for her. But she was trying, she had to.
“I’ll mentor you if you’d like. The offer was always there, it always will be.” She would help those who asked, or those she met who she chose to help. She would do what she could for the betterment of her wonder, their wonders, and space in general. It might be a place to retreat to in the future...who knew. They might need it one day, maybe in this life time.
“Want to go or do you want to continue to explore my wonder?” She asked, stepping away and moving towards the buildings. “It’s up to you. My wonder will always be here waiting for me.” She would do what he asked and leave it to him. Turning around she waited for his response.
She would make sure he became a knight.
