 Bernard*Timbermist Forest* That's very interesting. What kind of recipes? Zanthia knows some recipes for alchemy herself. She's a Master at Alchemy & a great Alchemist. Timbermist is a second home to me besides Castle Kyrandia.

Bernard*Timbermist Forest* That's neat. The Capital of Kyrandia and its Castle is ruled by a young king, Brandon, the grandson of Kallak, Master of Gem Lore. As for me, I'm kind of solo at the moment since I'm perfecting my Scroll Magic. So, who's your guardian? Bernard uses one his scrolls to make Lavender Rose appear as a demonstration of his scroll magic.

Isabella said smiling. It'd been a while since she talked to anyone other than her guardian. She showed off a bit of earth magic since her water magic needed more work. She put her hand above the ground and a few mushrooms slowly started growing. Please have noticed. I am trying my best here. Isabella thought nervously.

Bernard*Timbermist Forest* Brandon's grandfather, Kallak, is the only thing he has close to family left, Isabella. Bernard told Isabella about how Brandon defeated Malcolm, a former friend of Brandon's late mother and father & court jester of Castle Kyrandia, who went mad years ago by turning him to stone. You can have the Lavender Rose if you like, its all yours so feel free to keep it. Bernard sat down on a tree stump.

Bernard*Timbermist Forest* I hope we can be friends. Since Brandon's crowning as king, he expanded the Royal Mystics' art of magic greatly into some new fields: Sorcery, Witchcraft & Wizardry. Its been about a year since Brandon became king after he won the crown. He even appointed me to be Darm's successor as the Master of Scrolls & he even had Zanthia turn a Purple Dragonkin, Brandywine, human, using her alchemy, so a lot has happened during the start of King Brandon's reign, Isabella.He is a worthy successor to the Kyrandian throne. He has the wisdom, perception and vision to lead our capital. His late mother and father; William and Kathrine would be proud of him today.

Bernard*Timbermist Forest* Isabella. I haven't seen any mermaids since I've been indoors working on my scroll magic. Have you seen any merpeople before? I'll let you know. Bernard uses another scroll to make a map of Kyrandia appear. Isabella, here's a map of the entire island. It'll show you the way to the castle town of Kyrandia's Capital.

Bernard*Timbermist Forest* Isabella, maybe you'll meet a merman or mermaid one day. There's the town of Timbermist beyond this forest and beyond that is Castle Timbermist. Bernard held his hand out to Isabella. Have you ever been to the town of Timbermist before?
