Lettuce just smiled and put the gemstone back in its place when Water came back, waving away her excuses. "It's fine, no a worry."
His eyebrows shot up into his hairline as he tried to catch up to the quick verbal mumbled. "Like, like a date?" His voice came out in a squeak and he blushed several shades of red. He was convince now that Ston'e shyness gotta to be contagious. "I mean um Like yeah, no, I think that's like an awesome idea. Like totally cool I would love to go with you."

Geode just smiled coyly at Water when she asked who she’d been planning their date with, that was her secret until tomorrow! Instead she merely waited for her sister to get a move on.
Despite a door between her she cracked it just enough to listen in. Again hood in mouth to keep from squealing that he’d said yes! Awesome!!! Total babe! Now she had to plan her outfit, maybe wear her hair up? The possibilities were endless!

Wait...did he just say yes? He didn't like, laugh or anything?
She opened her eyes slowly, seeing that his embarrassment matched her own. They were both red as red could be. But she smiled widely, the butterflies coming back after being scared to death. She'd asked and he agreed!
"G-great!" she said "Uhm, the shop closes at six, and it takes..." forever to get ready because I gotta do my hair and find an outfit and ohgawd it's a date! "...a little bit to close up before we can head out. So maybe meet us here at like, eight tomorrow? "

Lettuce smiled, feeling his heart trying to pound it's way out of his chest. "Okay, I'll be here on a the dot." He chuckled. "It's a date!" He was aiming for humor, but sounded just surprise, but he was excited. The red was still blazing accross his face.
"I should get going. I have to put all these orders in....." And try to figure out if he had anything nice to wear. He hummed happily. "I'll see you tomorrow, Water"

Geode listened from the door again, it hurt how shy these two were sometimes. Geode couldn’t act shy if her life depended on it. But Water’s happiness was very important to her and she knew how much her sister loved her current kiddos. And that she wanted more.
Once Lettuce has cut the scene she burst out and wrapped her arms around Water, “Way ta go sis! Now you have a date! We’ll close up early tonight so we can make sure we can be the flyest girls in the bar!”
Truth be told Geode was always up for shopping and accessories!

"O-ok! See you tomorrow!" she said, watching him leave. She s immediately tackled once he was out of sight. "I could kill you." she said, but smiled nonetheless. She pulled away from Geode with an accusatory glare.
"and don't think I'm gonna ignore the phone call! Who was the dude YOU were gabbing to!?"

Geode was so happy to see Water excited even if it was partly nerves. Sweet Water deserved love and everything that came with it. Her sudden turn around and demand to know who was on the phone only made the purple wonder cat grin at her.
"You will meet my the Clyde to my bonny tomorrow night. Seeing as how you weren't upfront with your boy toy, I won't be either," she winked, "But he's fun. And the hair. Perfect." She couldn't help but giggle and pull out a few magazines, "So what should we do with our hair?"

She rolled her eyes. "Fine. You can have that." she blushed.. Again. She was so tired of doing that today. "I was thinking of my usual." she said, floating over to look over Geodes shoulder. "but I suppose I could try for a sleek look...."
They poured over the magazines, and Water felt a flutter in her chest. This was really gonna happen!
