It was a terrible two whole hours spent at the Silver Saucer, with nothing but chasing to catch up to Athena, running up stairs, and around the park where the young elf princess HAD to check every thing out. Her first real venture out to a world of fun ended up nearly killing her Reaper friend as she was quickly exhausted from the non-stop running around! So, as she returned with Athena in the outskirts of the kingdom to her tree-house, Kana immediately and dramatically, dropped to the ground, sprawled out with her arms out-stretched and her long chestnut brown hair spread all around her. Athena could kill Reapers easily, if she tried. Just let them spend a few hours with her at a really entertaining place and they would die right there!
"...Are you okay? " Athena glanced down at her, covering her mouth to hide a soft giggle. Maybe Kana got TO soft, she couldn't possibly have really made her that tired, could she? " I'm sorry, I..got a little to excited. Didn't I? It was so much fun! I wish I could take everyone there.." As Kana slooowly sat up, Athena joined to sit beside her, only to give her a sudden, surprising hug. "Thank you...You're such an amazing, caring friend..You've done so much for me, showing me the world..meeting new, wonderful people..I'm so happy I met you.If only my father could have met you, Kana..He would have very much loved you.." She finally let her go, smiling. "You are the face of the good Reapers...I hope there are many more like you.." By Kana's surprised face, she clearly didn't expect that hug, but she also didn't mind it so much ether. It was a whole part of that friendship thing, something she was also still learning herself! "..Well...It's the least I can do. If it wasn't for Artemis, I would still be in a bad place..doing terrible things, hurting people. He showed me how to be a better person, and I learned how to let go of that darkness. I can use my abilities to do good, and help others. Like you, It..annoyed me when I realized you, above all, had no friends..Honestly, you and I are a lot alike..Artemis saved me, and now I can do good too, and save you! " She said with a small, genuine smile. "We'll see the good in the world together, helping more people as we go along..." Her smile turned into a silly grin. "Ahaha..!! High Serenitians think they left me to be bored to death when they kidnap MY Artie...Little do they know I have a friend now. We will keep each other company! " Yeah, that was telling them. So scary!

Velora

The alert that a Reaper had invaded was barely able to ring through the Forest Kingdom--the kingdom who hated Reapers the most--before the doors to the throne room were knocked open, the guards outside flying in and down to their back. Drawing her black anti-matter sword, Velora smiled at the raven-haired Raven Queen sitting on the throne, her legs crossed. "I humbly request an audience, your majesty..." She said with a taunting little curtsy. Three royal guards in the room all nocked their arrows, though when they released them, Velora's twin shields would swing around to block her, before flying out to slam the guards against the walls. They immediately returned to float beside Velora. "Sorry, I'm only interested in the queen. No one else here is worth my time." She took a step forward. "How about it then? Do you feel like talking? I can go through all your residents if you really want, but you know no one here can challenge me except you."
"We will see." Althesa responded, having barely moved in her throne. "Carmen."

"Of course, my queen." The young feline woman standing at Althesa's side when Velora had charged in stepped forward, standing between Velora and Althesa. She raised her arms, stretching her petite body at the same time as her catlike tail.
"Oh? You're Carmen? I've heard about you. Not sure why I expected an elf." Velora often forgot this wasn't just a kingdom of elves--there were many different subraces of Forest Serenitians, including several with animal-like features. "You're the one that always embarrasses Alisa, eh? She's always trying to compete with me. I can't wait to see the look on her face when she learns how I humiliated you in front of the queen."
"Mm, we'll see." Carmen said with a somewhat bored voice. Finally finishing with one large stretch, she let out a short sigh as her arms fell back to her sides, and she began to walk towards Velora. Velora smiled, and one of her twin shields swung around to slam against Carmen's skull. Carmen stepped back, slamming an open-palm against the shield, which left a magical sigil on it, and it suddenly fell, clattering to the ground helplessly. Well, that had never happened. Stepping off the shield, Carmen leaped into the air, going to slam her almost bare foot into Velora's face. Velora caught her by the ankle, but immediately fire surged from her foot an explosion erupted, causing Velora to stumble backwards. Carmen began to shoot backwards from the explosion, but a magical sigil appeared behind her which stopped her momentum, and she used that to launch herself forward right back on the attack, spinning through the air rather impressively and bringing her heel down to slam her foot into Velora's skull as she was doubled over, putting her straight down on her front. She began to bend down to grab her, but her other still working shield swung around, and Carmen caught it as it tried to ram her, pushing her palm into its back, burning the same sigil into the metal and then simply tossing the now "useless" shield to the side, allowing it to clatter onto the ground.
When Carmen looked back to Velora, she was on her feet, thrusting her anti-matter blade towards her midsection. Carmen sidestepped, grabbing her by the wrist as magic began to surge through her hand, her palm becoming coated in what seemed to be--and felt like--excruciatingly hot lava. Velora let out a short scream, releasing her sword which clattered onto the ground just as her shields had. She quickly tried to grab her to shove her away with her other hand, but that was promptly caught, and Carmen pushed her wrists together, the bandages on her arms spinning and producing more magical bandages which very quickly enwrapped themselves around Velora's arms, binding her arms together from the elbows to the wrists, making it very difficult to do anything with them.

This wasn't going well. "Y-you're-!" She couldn't even manage any words in any kind of desperation before her mouth was similarly covered by the magical bandages, effectively gagging her.
Carmen stepped behind her calmly, shoving her with one hand, toppling the former Reaper queen down onto her front. Her bandages spun again, and Velora would feel her ankles bound together next before the bandages would finally finish their magical spinning, leaving the would-be conqueror disarmed, bound, and gagged. Carmen rolled her eyes, reaching down and grabbing a fistful of her short pink hair, using that firm grip to drag her further into the throne room, towards the queen. Velora's involuntary screaming at the pain came out muffled and pathetic, and she couldn't help but feel tears beginning in the corners of her eyes, much to her humiliation. As if this entire situation wasn't humiliating enough. Dropping her into a defeated, tearful, bound mess almost right at the foot of the throne, Carmen stepped meaningfully onto the back of Velora's skull, pushing her face down into the stone. Carmen was usually a little more lively than she had been here, but she wasn't exactly the biggest fan of Reapers--a sentiment shared by many throughout the kingdom.
"It would seem we've found someone worth your time, Reaper." Althesa said superiorly, very intentionally looking down on her cross-legged from her throne, while Velora's face was pressed roughly into the stone.
After a few moments, Althesa rose her gaze, addressing Carmen now. "Take her to my chambers. I will deal with her personally."

"Are you certain? I feel she's beneath you, given she's... clearly beneath me." Carmen smirked a bit at that one. Quite literally, she was, it seemed.
"Yes. She's no ordinary Reaper. She must be dealt with accordingly."
"As you wish, my queen." Carmen leaned down, grabbing and hoisting Velora, even in all her armor, in relative ease. "All right, let's go, b***h." She said as she threw her over her shoulder and began to walk with her. "I'd say to have fun telling Alisa about this one, but I don't think you'll be alive long enough to. But hey, you're a Reaper. You must like being bound and gagged like this, huh?" Velora's face reddened a bit--whether from frustration, shame, embarrassment, Carmen being correct, or any combination of them, who knew. But it elicited a giggle from the feline. "Thought so... brainless slut." Ironic, given Velora was incredibly intelligent. This may have been one of the more foolhardy things she had done, to charge in when she surely had no chance against Althesa...

If Velora wanted to try to escape, she wouldn't have the ability to. Every moment those magical bandages bound and gagged her, she felt her strength waning, and by the time Carmen dropped her carelessly on the floor of Althesa's chambers, she could do very little aside from lay there helplessly, with half of her face against the floor. Carmen gave her a little wave with her fingers, winking, then turning and walking away with a sway of her hips, her tail swishing side-to-side along with her hips. Velora figured, if she was going to die, at least she could enjoy THAT sight first.
She was left there on the floor like trash for hours, Althesa clearly not caring to stop her duties for the day on account of the Reaper, and so certain she'd remain there helplessly on the floor and not make any escape attempt that she didn't care to prioritize her. ...She was right, clearly, as Velora laid there, exhausted and beaten, her half-lidded eyes watching the door because she had nothing else she could do. She may as well have been tied to a chair and forced to watch paint dry.
But eventually, that door did open at last, and in stepped the imperious Raven Queen, standing over her as the door closed behind her. Crossing her arms under her chest, she stared down at the helpless former Reaper queen, making Velora feel more and more self-conscious beneath her domineering gaze. Even Velora, who was powerful and confident, felt herself shrinking under Althesa's imposing aura. The elf queen let out a noise of mild disappointment, inciting self-conscious terror in Velora's heart, before turning, removing her crown headdress with her back to Velora. This was honestly even more humiliating for Velora than the absolute spanking she received from Carmen--to be so terrified by the mere presence and possible disapproval of another woman. One she intended to conquer eventually, no less--just as she intended to conquer all the rulers after Selene was dealt with. In her original cycle, she already had plans in place to destroy the Forest Kingdom from the inside out, yet here she was, wilting like a delicate flower beneath the gaze of Althesa.
Finally turning back towards the bound Reaper, Velora felt her thoughts immediately disrupted by fear as the gaze once again fell upon her. Her arms still crossed under her chest, Althesa raised one, a sigil of incredible magic power appearing at the end of her hand as she did--so casually waving around such unbelievably powerful magic, maybe Velora's fear was very justified. As she did this slight motion, Velora would feel herself lifted by her bound wrists, raising them up as though they were suspended by chains from the ceiling, while Velora rested there on her knees before the queen. Crossing her arms once again, that unrelenting, dominant gaze continued to bear into her for several more moments which felt like an eternity to Velora, before the silence would finally be broken. "Selene." Althesa said at last, breaking Velora's thoughts from the terrified haze she had been working herself into this whole time just from being in Althesa's presence. Being broken from that, she realized her heart was racing, and she was actually sweating profusely. ...Good god. All this just from being near her...? Could she ever have actually conquered her? "I probed your mind the moment you appeared in my kingdom. I see what you're trying to accomplish. I hate what you are, but from what I saw in your memory, you may be the greatest hope of defeating Selene, as much as I hate to say it. I saw myself die in your memory of the last cycle. I saw my children..." Her face contorted in anger. Velora was dumbfounded yet again. She had seen all of that in only that short time? Velora was good at keeping her mind guarded, too. She was... starting to realize just how outmatched she truly had been.
She had seen more than just the fate of the previous cycle. Seeing Velora's life through her eyes was... an interesting experience. For a woman who hated Reapers to see through the eyes of someone so passionate about them, it at least gave her something to think about. However... "I also saw your intent to conquer." While her legs were still crossed under her arms, she leaned towards her slightly, causing Velora's eyes to widen a bit in fear. "I am willing to entrust the matter of preparing for Selene to you, as you may very well be the key, however..." Her hand reached out to grab her by the back of the head, causing Velora to freeze in fear. "You will learn just how far beneath me you are before you leave. You'll learn exactly why you will never conquer me, peasant." She practically spat that last word at her.
Well, good news was she would survive, and perhaps gain Althesa's aid. Bad news was... she was about to be reeducated harshly.

"I know I must place my duty as a commander above my life as a man. And once I am crowned, I most certainly will do exactly that.
However, I am not ready to divorce myself from my compassion just yet. I will find the balance somehow, the means to save my country and her people.
That is the king I wish to become, and so that is the man I must be."

After discussing the invitation provided by Althesa, Ephraim and Alisa would arrive shortly after leaving the island, with the company who wished to visit alongside them in tow. Coming to the vine-covered gate, they would be stopped by the guards standing sentry.
"Who desires to pass?" One of them asked.
"We've received-"

"Are you all blind?" Carmen asked flatly, cutting Ephraim's polite explanation off. "I am Queen Althesa's champion, you idiots. Open the gate."
"Yes, we see that... Carmen." The other spat out in clear distaste just being in her presence. "You still accompany a large group of outsiders. Entry is not granted to everyone based on your word alone."
"Then use your eyeballs and see the High Princess is here as well."
"...Princess Alisa!" She sounded much happier addressing her than Carmen, that was for sure. "Oh, it's been so long, I hardly recognized you! I'm so sorry, you're all free to go as you please, if the princess vouches for you. By the way, Princess Alisa... you were right, and it worked out. Me and Val are dating now!"
"N-now's hardly the time for that... we're still on duty!" The other guard stammered, her face overtaken by a blush,

Ephraim watched the exchange with mild amusement, and as the party would pass the now opened gate, he'd glance at Alisa. "Are you everybody's best friend?" He asked, though being playful, it was obvious by his voice he was impressed. He had never seen anyone who knew her have anything less than deep love and admiration for her. ...Except maybe Althesa, but that was a little different. It really seemed like she got along with everyone. No wonder her people loved her so much, and hated the girl who constantly humiliated her.
"Honestly, you would think I would have a little more respect by now." Carmen sighed, shaking her head. She genuinely had given so much of herself to this kingdom's betterment, yet pretty much everyone in the kingdom except Althesa hated her. And for as intelligent as she was, she seemed to have no idea why.
"..Perhaps if you didn't challenge their beloved princess every chance you got, you'd be better-liked." Minerva said flatly, still a little irritated to have her meditation interrupted. Meditating by that watefall and lake was perfect, but Carmen insisted she accompany her.
"I'm pleased you decided to take my offer." Althesa's voice cut through the air, sending all chatter on the "street" of dirt and grass to silence, as everyone turned to look to their queen out of respect and deference. It was rare for her to leave the palace to personally receive visitors. "You'll all be provided with lodgings, but we're not a people who have a lot of extra space and rooms available at all times. I hope some of you won't mind sharing rooms, or using a tent if necessary."
"Of course. my queen." Carmen responded respectfully, as if that applied directly to her, someone who actually lived here. "Trust me, sleeping in a tent in the Forest Kingdom is much better than the luxuries you're used to. Spending a night under the stars in this area of Serenity--it's impossible to beat." She clearly had her love for this kingdom, and for good reason.
"...I hope to announce your new relationship publicly at some point while you're here, Alisa. There have been numerous men and women hoping to court you in your absence. If you're so sure this man is the one you love, then this will put an end to that." Technically Ephraim and Alisa hadn't even shared the news with their friends yet, so this would be quite the leap. But obviously, she wasn't saying it needed to happen right away. "You know news spreads quickly in this kingdom. Your return will draw them here to try to earn your favor, so... perhaps the sooner the better. But it is your choice, daughter."
Though Althesa spoke quietly only to Ephraim and Alisa, Minerva still did enhance her hearing to listen to what was said. And as one of the few here who knew Ephraim and Alisa were together--for obvious reasons--she chuckled. "Oh I would love to see them try to compete with Ephraim on that front..." She said to herself in amusement. She had a feeling the elves and beastfolk of this kingdom would not know what was coming for them--and would be very angry when they were soundly defeated by a human who not only proved himself superior, but already had the High Princess's favor!

"You shouldn't underestimate the people of this kingdom, daughter." Carmen responded to Minerva, earning her a flat expression in response. Obviously, she didn't really want her calling her daughter right now, but thankfully not many would be listening to them, obviously. "Ephraim may be impressive, but I bet some of the men here could put him on his knees in no time. I mean, if Kaden could do it, they should have no problems..." She said condescendingly, and it was a wonder if Ephraim or Kaden should be more offended by that. As if that was entirely fair, when she had hexed him! ...Though Kaden still did win after the hex was removed. Twice. Very quickly. Very dominantly. Maybe she had a point? Or maybe Ephraim just got unlucky. ...Twice. "Weaving magic into fighting is a staple for our kingdom, though most can only do it on a very basic level. It takes someone of exceptional skill, talent, or both to weave it in as much as Alisa and I do."
"You think I don't know all this already?" Minerva asked, her flat voice now matching her flat expression well.
"It doesn't take much guesswork to know where you were mainly raised, crown princess." She said that a little quieter. "But our people have a rich history and culture too, even more so than the Central Kingdom I would say!"
"I've studied the cultures and ethics of every kingdom extensively and meticulously, even the Ocean Kingdom. If I'm to be... who I will become, it would not do for me to make the same mistakes past rulers have, mistakes I could have learned from and avoided." She crossed her arms under her chest, closing her eyes. "If I could not do such a small amount of studying, how could I ever pretend to be worthy for what lies in store?" "Small amount". Ariel could attest to how "small" that amount was, with the absurd page counts she talked about of all the books, historical texts, and ancient codices she was always buried in. She practically had no personal life, spending all of her adolescence and young adulthood preparing to become queen.
"..." Carmen let out a soft sigh. "Well, I see who YOU take after..." Despite that flowing pink hair and the third eye where a unicorn horn would be on her forehead, her personality was very much like Carmen's. It was like listening to her own younger self, always working, either for food or to improve herself. She had to support herself and Miya, AND she had to keep improving herself to try to get them a more comfortable life. It did end up working out--as the queen's personal aide and retainer, she now had one of the best jobs in the entire kingdom. But she did sometimes regret the life she didn't live in her adolescence, being in her 20s now. Not that it would've made much difference if she tried, since everyone in this kingdom hated her...

Alisa lightly prodded at Carmen's shoulder, giving her a look and shaking her head. "Carmen...be nice! " It was still shocking, she had to warn her even now to behave. They had been gone for quite a long time, it would be great if she didn't already start to get on the nerves of the people! She may not show it, or say it aloud, but she DID care about her, despite all of the humiliation she was put through each and every time she was defeated by her. It wasn't exactly unknown to her that the people of the Forest Kingdom were not big fans of Carmen, and she didn't want that. She wanted her to just get along, and everyone to be nice to her as well. So long as she had that attitude, though....it was difficult to see a peacefulness ever actually happening between her and the people of the kingdom.
Turning now to look at the two familiar faces, Alisa smiled brightly, a grin on her face at the good news. "Oh, that's great! I'm super happy for you both! " She reached both arms out, enough so she could grab the two of them into a big hug! Probably not the treatment most guards were used to from their princess! "I'm happy to see you both well, too..Hee,he. It has been a long time since I've been back.." And it was really, really great to see her beloved kingdom again. Letting them go after a moment, she turned back to Ephraim, smiling. She was definitely in her element, but with Ephraim at her side, there was no end to her new happiness! "I mean, I hope so..I haven't experienced anything negative from anyone, and that's absolutely not due to my status..I just want everyone to treat me as they would any friend. I like to think of everyone within the Forest Kingdom as family. "
Glancing to Carmen a moment, she ....rolled her eyes with a sigh, did she REALLY not get her actions were not so loved by the others? It wasn't that hard to see and learn from! "Heh, yeah! This one is smart, you should learn from her.." She grinned playfully at the two, before her attention would go on to the new voice, the voice of her mother. And really, it was quite the new voice, No longer did she hold such a cold, heartless tone. It was a voice she wanted to hear for far, far to long! "Hello, Mother. " Alisa smiled at her, for the first time in so long. One might think it would take some getting used to, but for Alisa, who's dreamed of a moment like this, it was the most welcoming thing to settle back into. Just being able to talk to her mother, without bitterness, it was a moment she certainly would treasure. "I have a feeling no one will mind, we did just spend months out on an island. If anyone complains, to the dungeons with them! " The goofy giggling of the princess would make it clear she was only joking!
"Ohh.." Carmen would hear, just as she would feel a pair of arms latch around her own by the pink haired Unicorn princess."That sounds wonderful..We should do that. Our first night together in the Forest Kingdom, under the stars...I can't wait! " Was she on some kind of love potion sickness? Unisha was certainly being -very- affectionate. Not that she didn't want to be, though there was in fact reasoning behind her suddenly affectionate, cute behavior.. and if anyone had really taken a moment to look at her, or other Serenitians here might even sense how suddenly possessive she had become. This was after all, Carmen's home, everyone knew her. SOMEONE had to have eyes for her, as if they wouldn't. She was amazing, in every way possible. Amusingly enough, Unisha here was completely unaware of how most of the kingdom felt completely the opposite of her.
Alisa blinked a few times, looking at Unisha and Carmen, the way Uni was acting..she didn't have to use much of her own Serenitian senses to know what was going on, and it was really cute! In fact, she was quite happy to see them together. What a day for love! "Oh, you guys...you're going to be so cute together..I bet you will have the cutest little wolf-eared kids in the world! " She winked at Carmen, before finally turning back as her mother began to speak again. "Ah..haha.." That news was alien to even everyone around her, no one in their group since the island even knew about her and Ephraim's newly formed relationship. "They are not aware yet either. This should be fun..." She said to her mother, clearly amused by it all. What would their reactions be? "I agree, let's do this now, if you would like. I don't want things to become super awkward with them..Are you fine with this now, Ephraim? " She asked as she looked at him now.
"..Boo! " Minerva would feel her shoulders bare a sudden, heavy weight upon them as her dear, wonderful, amaaazing sister just appeared right behind her, all due to the portal that opened up in the blink of an eye.Autumn, always entering places in the most dangerous of ways. Lucky she was practically grabbing onto her from behind, so no one could exactly just..shoot her with arrows, or magic! Then again, everyone's focus was clearly on Althesa right now, it would be absolutely a shocker if anyone even noticed her rather sudden out of no where appearance to pester her sister. She knew where everyone was, and wanted to come along too after realizing it!

Carmen blinked as the princess just clinged to her so suddenly. She probably shouldn't blush from something like that after what had happened between them, but it did seem to catch her off-guard. ...For some reason, she had really expected Unisha to pretend not to know her in public. "Uh, heh, yeah..." Why was she feeling awkward about this? Of course Unisha wouldn't hide their relationship. She was the champion of the Forest Kingdom, she had nothing to feel self-conscious about. She grinned. "I'll have to show you around, Unisha. I'm Queen Althesa's primary aide and retainer, so you could say I'm a big deal around here. Not to mention I'm the strongest person here aside from the queen herself... And everyone around here loves me!"
"Egh, why is that girl clinging to Carmen?" Well, here came the comedically-timed chatter, it seemed.
"Talk about desperate..."
"Look at her ears, she's from the central kingdom, most likely. They don't have standards there."
"Surely even THEY couldn't stand being around Carmen."
"I bet she just got her sister to put on fake ears and a wig to pretend she had a girlfriend, heheh...
"..." Carmen's wolf ears twitched, both from hearing this chatter clearly and from irritation. "...Just... ignore them. They're...jealous." Or whatever other excuse she had to tell herself over the years to try to deal with everyone despising her. "Mind your own business!" She responded to Alisa, as if what she said was the most annoying thing on the planet!
"Very well, we can announce it now." She had anticipated Alisa to want a little more time, but it mattered little to her. "Princess Alisa, the High Princess of our kingdom and my eldest daughter, has found her Lifebond partner," the queen's voice boomed over the entire area, quieting any remaining chatter. "His name is Ephraim, the King of Renais, a kingdom from another world. He's a human, strong in body and even stronger in will. He has proven this to me, and I have accepted their Lifebond." This caused quite the whispers and reaction within the kingdom, bringing some amount of tension.
"...Absurd!" A man interjected. "We're to believe this human is the best partner for our princess? And a king from another world? What nonsense is this? Someone like myself would be far better suited to-"
"Silence, Lord Gerome." Althesa warned.
"But we don't even know-"
Althesa's head turned towards him, her eyes narrowing dangerously. It was a very rare day that anyone made the mistake to continue speaking when she told them to be silent.
"...I-I am sorry, my queen. I spoke out of turn." He said, bowing his head in genuine terror.
"King Ephraim is a much greater man than you are. I have given this union my blessings, you fool. Do you intend to question my judgment?"
"N-no! I'm so sorry, my queen."
"Do not let it happen again." Althesa was not some dictator who ruled by fear, but she did have a great deal of respect from her people. And she certainly had a way about her that made her... very terrifying to challenge or disagree with.
"...Well..." One of the guards at the gate came over when the queen began speaking. "If Princess Alisa is happy, and Queen Althesa accepts it, I think it's cause for celebration! All hail Princess Alisa, and her groom, King Ephraim!" She cheered, more than happy to go along with whatever Alisa desired. And her attitude was infectious, as many in the kingdom felt the same way--seeing how happy Alisa looked, the tension was soon washed away by a chorus of cheering, a festive mood encompassing the entire kingdom to an extent that... had not happened in well over a decade. This kingdom was usually quiet, tense, and hostile. But Alisa's happiness? That was something to celebrate.

"...That didn't go too poorly." Ephraim said quietly to Alisa, feeling a little awkward but it wasn't such a bad thing. The groom comment was perhaps a little quick though!
"Later this week, we will be holding a festival to honor your union, and make your Lifebond officially recognized. The kingdom wants to celebrate your happiness, my daughter. I see no reason to deny them the opportunity." She gave them both a nod, before turning, beginning to make her way back to the castle.
"...Well! A Lifebond?" Alisa would feel herself poked in the back of the head. "Isn't that something! And neither of you thought to mention this on the way here? You two finally got together? I've only been around your little group for a few days, and even I was thinking how you two just needed to get on with it. I can't imagine how relieved everyone else must be!" What funny timing, right after that conversation she had with Unisha on the island, too.
"Hello, Autumn." Autumn would hear moments before her attempt to scare her. Just like Ariel on the island, the attempts to surprise Minerva never seemed very successful. "You are lucky everyone is distracted with Ephraim and Alisa--and that I masked the energy of your teleportation. Entering this place through portal is prohibited. You should be on the way to the dungeon right now." They did have a gate for a reason.

Unisha continued to hold onto her arm affectionately, though she was trying to make sure no other eyes found their way to Carmen so long as she showed how very obviously close they were, Unisha was clearly enjoying being close to her. It was quite perfect, really! She could just cling to her all day if she let her! "Oh..? That is quite the trust you have with the Queen. It isn't easy to get that position, it only proves just how amazing you are. " She said with a smile, it really was something to be proud of! Not to mention impressed, and clearly she was. "I'm looking forward to everything, there's no rush. As long as I get to see the sights here with you. " She nodded, it didn't take a seconds thought to agree with her there. From what she saw of her abilities so far, she had no doubt at all that she was extremely strong with her powers. It was silly, but very exciting to her! "It's no wonder she wanted you to be the closest one to her, he,he..Watching you fight back on the island, it showed how incredible your skills are.. " She couldn't imagine people not loving her, but.......
There came those whispers, which rather instantly caused Unisha to release Carmen's arm, and turn directly towards those talking so rudely behind Carmen's back. "..Excuse me? ..What did you say? " She glared at them. "Did I just step into the Reaper realm, where only hate exists? What do you have against Carmen? -- And excuse me, I'm princess Unisha. And i'm happy to say I am with Carmen. I've never been happier. How sad it is that you are so blinded by some kind of hate for such a wonderful person."
"..I agree..with the princess.." She muttered, and the two gossiping fools would be treated to a glaring Miya who snuck up right behind them while they were so busy insulting Carmen and Unisha. "You two are so annoying, and pathetic! Ya know that? Think insulting my sister is making you look any better? People like you who sit there judging people are the reason why prince Aeon was exiled from his own kingdom..while being completely innocent! Judgemental idiots. " Well, she could at least give them a piece of her mind too..which was pretty easy, she held no respect for a lot of people in this kingdom. "I'm going to be SURE to annoy you both the most from now on, while i'm back here. " She might not be able to hurt them, and teach them a good lesson about talking rudely about her sister, but she could annoy them more then ever before. "If you thought I was annoying before...ha..." All this chatter, but she was at least good enough to keep her voice down as to not draw any other attention to herself. She didn't want to ruin Alisa and Ephraim's little moment...After making her point, Miya turned and began to walk away from the scene..quietly making her away to the direction of her home..
Alisa rather quickly grabbed Ephraim's hand into hers, to show exactly who the mysterious Lifebond partner exactly was, she certainly wasn't very shy about it! "He,he..Pulling the band-aid off a little earlier then later is better around here...you'll see why soon.." She said into Ephraim's mind, giving him a small, playful wink as if to ease up his possible nervousness! Turning back to the crowd, she let out a soft, quiet sigh. Exactly what she thought would happen, and why she wanted to get it over with as soon as possible. "See? " She said in a whispered voice. But not all were so against their newly formed relationship, as one of the guards at the gate from moments ago came forward, causing her to smile brightly at her praising of them. Much better then the unhappy folk there! "Ah,ha...Thank you! " She might have earned herself another hug later on for that! It certainly helped to bring the joy and happiness she was hoping for between the rest of the people who would come to acceept them. "Not so bad, huh? ..My groom.." She teased, letting out a little giggle. That comment by her little guard friend would give her more things to playfully tease Ephraim with!
Looking forward, back to her mother as she spoke, Alisa nodded with a even greater smile. "Thank you, mother..We will be looking forward to it. " And the happiness that filled the kingdom especially was nice, after it being so deathly quiet for so many years. This was the life she wanted to see everyday.
Then came that little poke at the back of her head, causing Alisa to turn to face Carmen. "It was more fun to keep it quiet, til now, of course.." She said with a laugh. "I had figured you above all would have figured it out sooner, of course! " Despite their tensions often here in the Forest Kingdom, for once Alisa was happy to hold a conversation with Carmen. It was really the first genuine one she had with her that didn't end in some anger!
"So happy for you both! " Unisha, who was standing next to Carmen, reached over to hug her friend. "I think you two are so perfect for one another..you're always so very cute when your together." She said with a smile, releasing her after a moment..
"Whaa.! -- Well...Grr. " Autumn crossed her arms, gosh, just once she would not fail to sneak up on her. There. would. be. that. day. She would succeed! "Oh, come on..as if anyone's going to care. If they have any senses in their dull brains, they might realize i'm Serenitian too. As if they would throw a fellow Serenitian into the dungeons! Especially a princess! Hmph!"

"..It's so pretty here.." Hana said to herself softly, as she kind of went off on her own to began a little sight seeing. She wasn't particularly close with Alisa and only really spoken to Ephraim a few times, and she didn't want to get in the way of their happy moment with everyone she was actually close to congratulating them. While she didn't even know this kingdom well herself, as strange as that was, she was a little more cautious about where she went. It would be quite embarrassing if she went somewhere she wasn't allowed to go! So, she could only judge others by their emotions and expressions as she passed them. If she felt or seen any sort of tension in their eyes, well..she would know she was probably going somewhere she wasn't allowed to go. Her presence was so threatening, after all. The immense holy aura that radiated from the Angel of Serenity was a true threat to all! Not that it was visible, but it definitely could be felt, the pureness of the light of Serenity..

Athena knelt down to the ground, a place of sacred grounds only few came to, but no one more then the young princess here. In her hand was a handful of beautiful, even colorful shells she had picked from the waters of the island, some washed up on shore, while the more beautifully colored ones were straight from the sea floor which she retrieved on her swim. "Hello, dear Father! " She smiled, looking up at the statue in which was to honor the king, a statue that stood at his grave. It was the closest thing she would ever get to see him, but even that small unperfect thing made her happy. It was better then nothing, right? "I bought you some gifts, I made sure to find only the very best! I thought I would bring you what I could of my journey outside of the Forest Kingdom. " She placed the shells down at the base of the statue, before slowly getting herself into a slightly more comfortable position, so she was sitting down next to it. She planned to be here for a little while, for Athena, this was a daily thing when she lived here, she would hold a one conversation to her departed father for some time, telling him about her life just about daily. "It's been so long since I got to talk to you like this, i'm so sorry! I wasn't ignoring you....I just had to experience what it was like outside of the kingdom. I made some friends, at least, I think I did? I..I guess I haven't reallly opened up to anyone as much...but I did meet many new people.." She paused a moment, leaning against the statue as if she were sitting beside him, talking as normal as ever. "..Though, to tell you the truth..I never feel quite like I fit in..am I worrying to much? " As if he would be able to provide that answer to her, she continued on. "I want to make friends, but I never feel comfortable.." No one in Avalanche or their team was ever mean to her, but still, she was quite shy and self-conscious at times. "..Ah, but..enough about me, let me tell you something more exciting! You're going to be so happy! --Although I didn't say anything directly to her, I wanted to give them their space, everyone was already kind of hogging her in praise, so I'll have to say something to them later...The thing is, Alisa found her Lifebond partner. He's the King of Renais! ..In another world...but, well, that's another story..Isn't that great? Ephraim is his name..You would like him, he's very nice, and cares so much for Alisa, that much we could all see even before they finally got together. I heard he got mothers approval too, isn't that great?! I think they will be so happy together..if only you could meet him.."
"Oh,god..this is so embarrassing. Are you sure she doesn't need mental help? Look at her, talking as if she was sitting right beside her, alive...it's painful to watch, let alone listen to.." One of the kind citizens would say in a whisper, as she and her friend remained hidden in the bushes a distance away. These two in particular had a bad habit of following Athena here, laughing and pulling jokes about her sanity. It was no wonder Athena had a bit of a self-conscious problem. "Shh! Are you stupid? She'll hear you.." "Oh please, she's not stable. Do you really think a mentally ill girl like that is able to hear us? She's never spotted us once..she is the legendary fail princess of the Forest Kingdom, don't forget that.." The one girl said. "Sits there and cries all day to a piece of stone. It's truly the most disgraceful thing I've ever seen, and heard.." "...Uh, are you sure she can't hear us? ...She suddenly went very silent..
