Giulia - 2/5 - 1+0 = 1 ring
Well, that first set of tosses hadn't gone so well, and the little blonde was sorry to see it. Still, she had at least gotten something, right? Yes; from that first set, one ring had hooked over the neck of a snowman, and Giulia's prize was in sight. Or... well. It was possibly going to be in sight. "Jada~" she wheedled, and her tiny, rainbow-painted fingers made greedy clutching gestures. "I need another dollar."
She watched her sister's sculpted brow go up, and Giulia cast a desperate glance over at the wreaths, and the smiling girl, shaking more of the wreaths. "Just a few more? I won't spend more than... twenty dollars?" Ooooo, that face was a negative. "Ten dollars?" her lip wibbled as Jada still peered at the prizes, judgmental, and then Giulia warbled, "Five dollars?"
Four more one dollar bills were pushed into her hand with a sigh, and Giulia grabbed at the wreaths, passing a dollar into the woman's hand. Come on, wreaths! Get those snowpeople!

She only had three more dollars left to spend on this event, and Giulia peered between her extra dollars, and the prizes she could win. Should she just... take the little jingle bracelet and go about her business? She couldn't win the snowman, not at this streak of poor luck. Or... bad throwing. Maybe she should ask Jada to throw them? But no- her sister was staring off at something else, wistful.
Giulia didn't care, she was having a crisis. should she save her dollars? Spend them all here, for a snowman plushie? It was a BIG plushie. Maybe even bigger than Hope. She'd love to watch her niece toddle around tripping over the snowman. And it looked just... so cuddly.
"Five more!" she proclaimed, passing another dollar grandly to the woman, who obliged.
This time, Giulia tried to line up her shots carefully, but most of them were still misses; she was still only at two. She needed... how many?

Okay, with two dollars left, Giulia needed to step up her game. A fourth dollar was shoved at the woman, her blue eyes narrowing in determination. Five more shimmery, tinselly wreaths were passed gently in her direction.
She could do this! Her throws this time were desperate, hands shaking. She needed more! More rings! For snowman!! The first fell wildly short, the next two bouncing narrowly between snowpeople- and her fourth looped her third snowperson!
She was half-way there! But... she was almost out of money. Her last throw of this dollar was haphazard. It wasn't good.
Things were looking dicey.

Her last dollar was passed over to the woman with a trembling little hand, determination in bright blue eyes. She had this. She just needed to basically get so many more points this time than she had gotten before. Oh, she would get that adorable little deer pillow-plush with what she had, but she was loath to relinquish her goal.
"Watch!" she chirped to her guardian, and was gratified to see a dark head swivel towards her, Jada crouching down next to her. "I'm gonna get that snowman. Kiss for luck?" Lips pressed to her cheek, obliging, and Giulia giggled, adjusting her stance, like those rastlers she saw in the TV.
She aimed carefully, staring at the snowperson she wanted to hit like... like when she was learning to balance on one foot, and she'd been told to find one place and stare there? She did that. And it worked! Giulia screeched in excitement, realizing she had 4 chances to get one. last. ring.
"For snowman!" she cried, and missed. Well, fudgcicles! So, she cleared her throat, staring again- and the last ring made it over the snowman. Giulia's shriek of excitement made Jada recoil, and the stand-lady too. "SNOWMAN!" she yelled again, and the last two wreaths were flung haphazardly. Three feet of stuffed toy was shoved in her direction, and Giulia cackled as she buried her face in it, overjoyed.
"Thank you!" she told the stall lady, and her money-giver; "I'm so excited!" And then she ran ahead, looking for Aidan, to rub his nose in her prize.

Ohh Tinsel ring toss sounds sounds fun. Kaileen reached into her pockets and took out five dollars.
"I would like to try. Five dollars for five trys."
OK so since the whole carnival Kaileen decided to not try any games again. She knew she sucked at them and didn't win anything. Well if she was honest she kinda was had at any thing that require her to try and win a prize. Raffles, scratch off cards. She took one of the tinsel and crossed her fingers.
"Here goes nothing."
She threw the tinsel and watched it as it soared over it's mark. Yep Kaileen wasn't any good at theses things. She did had at four chances left. But Kaileen could tell what the outcome would be. She wouldn't win anything and if she did win anything it would be the lowest ranking prize or the thanks for trying award. She had a lot of last place ribbons and trophy. Not to mention the ones they have just for participating.

Kaileen took another tinsel. She did have four chances left after all and night as use them. It would have been a shame to give up and waste that money she spent. Her brother Noah would have blew his kid if he was here he wasn't into wasting money of any sort.
"Second times the charm."
She threw the tinsel again. It didn't even reach were it was suppose to. Kaileen rolled her eyes. It was a little disheartening. Maybe she should sit back a little and wait and watch other people play. Try and get a feel for it and alsobser how other people do theirs.

Kaileen took another wreath and stepped back she putted it up to her eye and tried to keep it in front of her target. She just wanted one win if anything. Her money wouldn't go to waste. She knows she can do this. Practice makes perfect right? Unfortunately she only had three tried left.
"Ok may be this time I can get a win. I need to be more confident in myself."
She closed her eyes and three the wreath.
She heard the girl who was behind the booth.
"Yay you won a prize."
Kaileen opened her eyes.

She started to do a mini dance. She won something.

She wasn't exactly planning on spending money at this stupid little fair. Everyone knew carnivals were ridiculous, and frequently deadly, and terrible ideas in general; yet Pythia Adler still found herself being dragged to one by a special project for the holidays. She didn't want to be here, but extra credit was extra credit, and she could use all the points to lift her grade from a B to an A. And part of that extra credit would probably be proving she actually came, or writing an essay or something- she may as well give herself something to write about! And what more obvious way to do that, then to get a... souvenir?
It took her some time to find one of the cheapest possible stalls. Five tries for a dollar, to hook ANY snowman and get a guaranteed something. She wouldn't even have to try, really. How hard could it be to get a wreath over a hat? So Pythia laid down her dollar confidently, already peering over the items, considering which prize she would choose. The top hat, maybe? She could turn it into a cute little magnet... yeah, that would work quite nicely, she decided, and peered at the rings in her hands.
Low-budget trash. She chucked them casually, one at a time- certain each one would be the winner, and yet... every time, they brushed the santa caps, never settling.

Pythia 2/5 - 0+1=1
All five of her first try had failed, and Pythia was more than just startled she was agitated. How on EARTH had she missed all five? That was basically impossible, wasn't it? The tinsel rings were moderately-sized, and should have gone over the hats.
SHOULD have.
But hadn't, obviously. Her brows scrunched together in irritation, and some corner of her mind shrieked. Anger welled up in her, at the audacity of those stupid little wreaths- so close, yet so far, making her feel the fool! She slammed down another dollar, holding out a red-nailed hand imperiously, jaw clenching.
“More wreaths,” she gritted out, and had she been a dragon, chances were good there could have been a curl of smoke at the tail end of the word, the elongated hiss of the s. And she didn't say please, either, grabbing at the wreaths and basically hurling them at the snowmen in outrage.
Her actions (arguably) paid off; of the five things she hurled at the snowmen, one stuck.

The third dollar was passed to the woman with thin lips. Pythia didn't need to do this anymore. Her point... she had made one. She had gotten a prize. No one could deny that.
But now? Now she was invested. Now she had something to prove. Optimistically.
Her hands were shaking as she tried to throw them again, hurling them forcefully at the snowmen. One of them knocked the snowman over; two landed on hats in the middle, and... well, from the way she hurled them, the other two hadn't made it anywhere near the target. Her foot stamped again, spurred on by her display of snowman dominance.
ONE ENEMY DOWN.
Though-- to be fair, she probably wasn't supposed to be trying to rage-kill the snowmen in some inaccurate form of compensation for the poor crafting of the shimmering wreaths.

THREE. THREE SUCCESSFUL WREATHS. She could stop. She should stop. She didn't stop. A fourth dolalr was thrown down, even as she looked at her wallet and saw she was running low on ones. She should just take her reindeer pillow and go. She didn't NEED the snowman. She didn't want the snowman. She was going to pick the reindeer as her prize no matter what. Yet Pythia lined up her next shot, hurling the first wreath violently; it failed. The next, equally violent, slammed down onto the snowman's head.
“And stay there!” she yelled to the wreath, even as the stall owner gave her some serious side eye. The third, more tamely thrown, fell short- and the fourth settled gamely over a tophat. There. Five wreaths. That was the end of it. It was going to be. She'd more than gotten her money's worth, as dictated by her initial claim- it was totally easy to make a wreath toss.

Or not. It seemed $4 was not to be the end of it- to prove something to herself, Pythia forked over the fifth dollar, even as she commanded politely requested that the woman to fetch her reindeer pillow plush. It was a shame she couldn't use the other wins for additional prizes- she could think of a use for the others as well. Put reindeer ears on Baker Girl, maybe. Now that she'd used her last single dollar, she found herself needing to make sure... she could do it. She had to do it. It was entirely possible to... Miss. Miss........ Miss...... THERE! Pythia hurled the last one haphazardly, not even caring for its success or failure. She'd gotten her 20% chance of success, and overall, come out on top.
Hands snagged the plush pillow greedily, holding it up triumphantly. Her mother would hate it. As such, Pythia would love it, and call it something ridiculous.
