 Shirou stopped in the trees and turns to her." I don't have those answers Nancy I wish I did don't forget my mind was completely cleared and even now some of my memories are still fuzzy"He lets out a sigh as the cloths he had on turned to the cloths he had on yesterday." I don't want my parents to see what I went though,they have been though enough already we are still young,I have been turned into a human weapon Nancy as you know I could use magic ever sense I was 3."He says as he removes the white clock he had over his shoulders and puts it on a tree branch." I am showing you because you are the only one who remembered me."He adds as he unclips the sleeve that covers his left arm and pulls it down revealing his arm completely scared up form every thing they did to him ten years of tests." My torso is just as bad,this sleeve both hides my arm and helps keep my magic in check."He says looking over at her.

Nancy Harpenter Nancy felt whatever he was going to tell her wasn't going to be good,"A human weapon you said that before.. I know you can use magic I remember....", she replied quietly when he began to remove his cloak she was a little startled wondering what that was about she was about to turn her face when she noticed him un clipping his sleeve revealing a large array of scars she gasped when she seen all the deep scars that etched his entire arm it looked almost unrecognizable she looked distressed and shook her head turning her eyes away,"Okay.. so they did hurt you.. I get it.. everything is okay now your home..", she replied quietly. She couldn't imagine the actual pain he went through for those past 10 years and having been tooken so young to. She finally turned herself around and replied,"I need a minute", she began to walk back to the house trying not to cry as she headed back it didn't matter in the end if she found her best friend she couldn't stop him from getting hurt in the end and that made her feel worse.

Shirou could see the pain in her eyes as she looked at his arm and he quickly covered it back up and clipped the sleeve back up and sighs and lets her walk a while before he looks down at his hands and closes his eyes." I may have been trained to kill but my heart was never touched and my blades will now serve to protect others."He says as he holds out his left hand and a bow forms and he lets out a slow breath and a arrow forms in his right hand and he knocks it and pulls the string back and his eyes narrow before he lets the arrow fly and it strikes a tree and almost goes through it and then it fades along with his bow." I hate them with every ounce of my being but they have given me the power to save others."He says before turning and heading towards his house.

Nancy Harpenter Nancy she finally made herself take a minute alone as she headed back to her house and once inside she went up the stairs she sat on her bed pulling her diary out as she read an entry...
"Dear diary today me and shirou went down a path that lead us to a field of flowers. It was so pretty!! We thought for sure we had found the land of fairys because I seen white fuzzy things floating in the air Shirou says they weren't fairies but I think they are... ",
the entry went on explaining her childish argument on how he said they were seeds that floated in the sky even though they were both 6 and shouldn't have been that far away from home anyways. She felt alot better after reading that entry and with a smile she closed the book and set it back into its proper place in her dresser drawer. She recalled her fathers words,'You have til autumn Nancy then you need to decide...', she would have a whole summer to figure out stuff anyways. She returned to the base floor heading outside as she seen shirou returning from the woods she waved him over,"Come on lets go we have alot of catching up on".

Shirou was on his way to Nancy's house when she came back out and waved to him and he gives her a warm smile." Yes,yes we do."He says softly as he turns around and starts to walk with her towards town." This town hasn't really changed at all in ten years these streets look the exact same."He says as he finds a stick and picks it up and spins it." I wish I could have been here thought it all i am sorry I put you thought so much."He adds as he stops to look at the old apple tree that they use to pick from and he walks up to it and looks up and sighs." I never did get my apples form before."He says before turning to Nancy." Lets go to the story real fast."He says with a smile.

Nancy Harpenter Nancy looked over at him nodding in agreement,"Yea lets go get some apples they sound delicious right now", she agreed as they headed into town she seen the bustle of the town folk in their usual manner entering the grocery store she gazed around seeing everyone seemly shopping as her and shirou went to the produce selection while inside she heard an exclamation of excitement and turned to see someone rather familiar approaching them,"Martha?", she said as the woman came forward and greeted her happily,"Oh Nancy its been to long", she remarked happily Nancy surveyed her friend they weren't even out of high school barely before Martha got married early and now but what really surprised Nancy was the woman was at least 7 months pregnant,"I see you have uh.. been enjoying marriage life well", she replied politely smiling as Martha laughed as she rubbed her tummy,"Yes I have but it seems like I'm already my mothers age sometimes", she rolled her eyes,"Did you read the new magazines yet? They are so informative on so many things", she then went into explaining some of the things she knew while she finally turned seeing Shirou,"Oh who is this nancy are you getting married?", she gasped,"And no invite what a shame", she surveyed the red head her brown eyes curious,"He looks familiar do I know him?",she asked nancy as she embarrassingly remarked,"Uh... we aren't dating and yes remember Shirou from elementary martha this is him", she explained to her as martha blinked slowly,"What happened? I heard you got tooken away or something...", martha rubbed her head,"Its all kinda fuzzy honestly..", she replied. Nancy jumped in quickly,"Oh he wasn't tooken away his parent sent him to his aunt's for awhile",she responded quickly,"You can tell everyone the info maybe we can all hang out soon", she replied as martha asked in excitment,"A gathering party how fun!".

Shirou walked with Nancy around the store and soon came to the apples and he started to pick up some nice plump ones when he hears voices behind him and turns and gives the woman a warm smile,he could tell she was well on her way into pregnancy." Its been ten years I am glad you are doing well Martha."He says as he turns and picks up another apple,he couldn't believe how much he had really missed,he then looks around and sees a kid bump into her and look up and he starts to tell her sorry when Shirou's eyes narrow and as the kid starts walking away he spoke up." Hey kid."He says and the kid stops dead in his tracks and turns to look over at him and sees Shirou was pointing at his hand." You soulddn't take things that don't belong to you."He says as he walks up to the kid and the young boy puts Martha's money in his hand and lowers his head." I understand your pain kid but keep your head up things do get better."He says as he puts an apple in the boys hands." Ill pay for this one."He says giving the boy a smile as he walks up to Martha and hands her,her money back.

Nancy Harpenter Nancy and martha were so engaged in talking they didn't realize that martha had been robbed,"Oh gosh thank you!", she replied taking back her money,"My husband would be pretty upset about that", she told him honestly,"He gets moody about money being he didn't have much when he was growing up but..", she smiled,"He is a really good job right now good thing there isn't any wars going on", she confirmed. As Nancy nodded in agreement,"To many people get drafted I don't like it", she agreed. Both girls went silent there was a small 4 year war back when the girls were 12 but so many people got drafted even Mr. Emiya and her father went in as well but she was certain they didn't see much combat from what she was told. Nancy waved goodbye to her friend before turning to Emiya,"She wants to go let everyone know your home so I suggest we go visit some old sights before we get crowded with people", she laughed,"She will call us later", she informed him smiling as she headed out of the store after everything was paid.

Shirou smiles as the woman said her goodbyes and left and he and Nancy paid for there apples and walked out of the store and he looks around taking a deep breath,he didn't want to say anything about the war because he was there he used his powers it was a war to help him train." Sooo where to Nancy,I am still a little rusty on land marks in all honesty.[/color]"He says with a little laugh as he hands her an apple."I will follow your lead."He adds giving her a smile.

Nancy Harpenter Nancy looked about the town,"Lets get the general lay out first then we can hit up some old spots", she told him taking up the apple with a smile she took a bite hearing the satisfying crunch of the apple as he bit into it they both headed around the town... It took her a few hours but she went through every building and explained everything about it. The school, post office, police station, and even hospital. Which was an occasional visit she turned them both to the outer parts of town and went over and explained the woods their main road home the tree they used to climb the nature trail and another trail that lead up to the mountain. She then took him through the woods as she finally brought them to a massive field that was filled with buttercups right now,"This is the flower field.. we both found this when we were 6...", she turned to begin walking through it,"I read an article in my diary today it was pretty funny it reminded me of this place I haven't seen or been here in years", she told him honestly as she stopped about mid way through the field.

Shirou followed and listened as Nancy brought him up to speed on everything that was in the town every now and again he would get random flashbacks and once they reached the flower field he stops and looks around it as the memories filled his mind and he smiles softly as a soft breeze came thought and lifts up some of the little balls of fluff that she once thought of as fairies and he smiles." Hey look its your fairies."He says looking over at her as he catches one of the little balls of fluff and he walks over to her and holds it out to her." I was right."He says giving her a big smile." These may not be the fairies you seek but I am sure they are out there some where."He says leaning down and he picks a flower.

Nancy Harpenter Nancy laughed happily at his remark,"You do remember!", she said turning as he brought her over one of the balls of fluff,"Yea its not a fairy.. but it looked like one at that age..", she said quietly finally letting the seeds fly into the wind,"We could all use some real fairies right about now", she said quietly watching him picking a flower, she sat down in the field and let the warm sun beat down on her head,"Its a pretty nice day I gotta say that.. not to hot not to cold just right..", she closed her eyes letting the light wind blow through the sun warm her and the smell of buttercups,"I miss this place..", she finally said opening her eyes she inhaled the scent of the flowers,"i wonder if there is any...", she looked about the edge of the woods and jumped up at the sight,"Honey suckle!".

He looks over at her and couldn't help but smile at her when she was just chilling there in the flowers and then he watches as she gets up and he followers her to the edge of woods and sees the honey suckle and he smiles." You like honey suckle I am guessing."He says with a smile,he then looked around and smiles as he sees a small rose bush and he walks up to it and kneels beside it and takes a deep breath." This is my favreat flower."He says softly.

Nancy Harpenter Nancy having gotten to her feet began to race over to the woods edge as she began to eat upon the honeysuckle flowers... She would take the sweet stem from the center of the tiny flower and then lick the honey sweetness from it as she went through a branch of the tasty goodness she heard rustling near her turning not even a foot or so away was a snake slithering through the woods back into its woodsy abyss. She produced a shutter even though it wasn't after her they always did give her the creeps in a way... She turned her attention to Shirou who seemed to be kneeling down to grab a rose from a bush,"Your favorite flower? I didn't know you liked roses so much", she said rather curiously she was approaching him from behind when all of a sudden a loud rustle came from beside her she screamed in terror jumping back as a bunny sprinted from the field into the woods beyond as if her screaming wasn't bad enough. She took a moment to breathe as she got over excited,"I...I'm sorry I haven't been... nature hiking lately... I'm a little on edge right now..", she replied somewhat shakily as she watched the tiny white cotton tail disappear out of sight she began to laugh. She wasn't sure why she was so terrified it was just late spring of course there was animals everywhere!

Shirou was about to answer Nancy when she let out a scream and before he knew it he was moving to get in front of her and a blade formed in his hand but once he noticed it was a small bunny he slumps his shoulders and lets out a slow sigh." Don't scare me like that."He says softly as he turns to her." You ok?"He asks as the knife fades into a blue mist." And don't worry you are safe with me."He says giving her a little smile." We may want to get home soon and we should figure out what to make for lunch all this walking around is making my stomach yell at me."He says with a little laugh.
