It was hard to think just a moment ago he was entirely focused on combat and the well being of his team, that he was actually taking things seriously and wasn't cracking a joke. Or with how erratic, unpredictable, and emotional he was it may not have actually been a surprise at all for him to act like this. Still, this was not helping! It was a tragedy! 'Stupid grimm ruining my clothes.' He thought to himself. Then he heard Remus speak up amidst the other two girls giggling about his pants or his legs and that he could thank him later for helping him keep both. 'I probably should be glad i'm still alive...' He thought to himself. His gaze would remain on Remus for a moment, brightening up slightly. "Thanks Remus. I need to take clothing i'm fine with getting ripped in the future... Though going back to beacon with a bloody leg is sure to bring some attention to us!" He would call out, not as loud as normal but enough to be audible. He did appreciate Remus helping him out with arrows; they killed his Grimm through team work. So while it may have been mentioned in a joking kind of way, but Henryk felt he should know he appreciated it. He also couldn't help but think of the attention this could draw. Sure, every team could do missions. But who could take a wound and keep trucking? At the very least he could make a good story about it. But he was seriously considering getting more pairs of the same outfit for the future.
Chloris would then come up and offer to sew his pants along with saying that her weird kit she had was for his wound. He looked back down at it, unable to see where the actual cut was with the blood there. It would probably be a good idea to clean it better just to see but...He didn't want to feel the blood on his hands right now and didn't see anything he could use that was particularly clean for wiping it away. Though when he heard it was a mud salve being used to help he made a grimace on his face. "Gross do we really have to? Isn't there something less... dirty?" He would ask though he had a feeling there was no real alternative to it. Or he may bleed out well before then... he didn't know when a person was supposed to stop bleeding, if they ever did. "Ugh fine... I'm going to need a bath once we get back. Please don't let it sting..." He would say, resigning himself to it. He could resist complaining and trying to get out of having that applied, especially since he had no clue of medical things so he didn't know if he was on a timer till death. He rather be dirty than die. Hearing her tell him to sit in order to be treated, he would go to a nearby stump and do so, the uninjured leg crossed underneath his other one. He winced slightly at stretching it, not really any significant pain but not expecting it to feel like that. He hated being sick or hurt, it always limited what he could do. But this one would be minor enough that he should be fine. Hopefully. He didn't want to have his leg amputated. Chloris would then offer to patch his pant up... And looking down at it for a moment his eyes would travel back to her with a soft smile. "Yes please. If we are to fight more Grimm and find these people, I want to look my best... and not get to the point where i'm fighting Grimm in my underwear." He would say with a joking smile on his face. He knew the real stakes at hand here, and did want to be underway soon. But he wanted his team to see that all was good for him and no minor scratch was going to get him down. He was the team leader after all; he had to keep everyone else at ease as much as he could. He would pause for a second, and with a slightly more serious face and soft smile he would whisper to Chloris. "And thank you Chlo. Don't know what I would do without you." ✘ Post count: 40 ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ OOC:

Chloris smiled as she continued to grab the jar of mud her family was used to making and traveling with. It was good for cuts and such, though the smell was unpleasant at times; probably not nice for if they ran into Grimm again, but she would cover it. As she heard his retort to Remus' comment, she would roll her eyes. Attention was not something she was looking for, for her or her team at this moment.
Looking to her team leader, she smiled softly, though frowned at his grossed-out response to her healing kit. Rolling her eyes, she shook her head."How city-boy like,"She thought and spoke aloud about such."It'll help, city-boy, trust me. So please stop being squeamish,"Chloris replied. She would've said girly, but that would be sexist toward her own kind, and there were not a lot of girls she knew that were like that (besides her one friend).
Her attention momentarily turned to Remus and Ella to see that they were having time together. The scene made her smile, she would then turn those big mossy-green eyes back towards her horned friend. Once he was seated, she would grab a bottle of water and a piece of clean cloth she had ripped from her own cloak, ignoring her own wounds at the moment as she would continue to wet the cloth before wiping at Henryk's bloody lower leg. His comment about not wanting to fight Grimm in his undies made her giggle softly. Though his next words only made her look at him as if he was odd. Reasoning that any other team should be doing the same for one another. After all, a team must work together to be successful; in her mind at least.
Humming softly as she did her work, the petite young woman would finish after a bit before wiping it dry. The blue-haired girl then smiled as she could see the wound now clean, not as bad as it had first appeared, but still as good as a dog's scratch, which could still smart. She opened the small jar of mud/paste and began gently applying it to each open wound, which would feel cool to the touch but soothing nonetheless before she would stand, closing the jar again and picking up a branch that had been on the ground. Though she was not an expert with this, as she returned, she sat back before her teammate and concentrated. Resting the flimsy stick, it would begin to flatten and become fibrous enough to wrap itself around the wounds; since it was not around the knee or at the ankle it would become like a leg vambrace."There,"She said with satisfaction,"That should do for now."
She would then look over to her other teammates."Ella, Remus, do you need anything from the med kit,"She would call out. The petite nature girl, looked down at her torn clothes and sighed softly. Grumbling to herself, she would pull off her cloak, and look at the tunic beneath that had also been cut and lightly stained. Cursing softly under her breath, she would lift off the tunic to reveal she was wearing a tanktop under it all."Well, looks like a have a lot of sewing to do,"She would state before getting out a needle and thread from the bag. She would then turn attention to the captain, allowing Remus to grab what he needed from the med-bag as she would turn back to the pants."Alright, hold still, or I might accidentally poke you with a needle,"She warned; the thread she would use was a bright red.

Ella Fletcher "Would you like to go for a swim?"
Ella tilted her head in confusion as to Remus's reaction to her asking to study his wolves, she then clicked. "Ah, you misunderstand me Remus, I meant your summons.. they are most interesting!" she said, chuckling.
When she was within his personal space, she continued to examine him to make sure he was ok. Ella wasn't great with people being in her space, but seemed to lack the understanding that people like Remus would most likely have a capacity also. "Hmm, good." she said, watching as he moved back slightly. "Here.." she said, as she went into her bag and offered him up a bottle of water. "Keep yourself hydrated!" she said, as she then approached the other members of her team.
Watching in silence as Chloris fixed everything as always, she smiled. "Uh, no I think I'll be ok.." she said, as she continued to watch. Her wound beginning to start the clotting process as she winced a little, but she would be fine. She went into her bag and brought out more bottles of water, "Here, please drink.." she said, handing it to Henryk.
Ella moved away from them both a few steps again and scanned the area, she examined the blood on the ground, the dead animals, everything she could, and then she noticed scratch marks on another tree not far from them. Without saying anything, Ella moved quicker than usual towards the tree and placed her hand on it. "Whatever happened to them.. that way.." she said, as she then looked into the distance past the tree, nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

Remus was standing too far away to make out Chloris rolling her eyes at what Henryk said. Though he had a similar reaction to her. "I think as far as getting attention for that Ella has you beat Henryk." Remus points to the rather large red stain on Ella's top that was covering a good portion of one side of the Ella's waist. It was still shiny from being wet but it's color was starting to lose its luster as it dried. Ella's wound should be clotting by now as well so that was good. "Though if you really tried to start a competition on that I would be hard pressed to resist the urge to knock you upside the head. And that would probably be getting off light compared to what Chloris would do to you." That girl would probably wring him out like a wet rag if he did something so stupid. Or that was the impression Remus had in his mind. That Chloris wouldn't stand by letting him do something so dangerous. Luckily his comment was probably much more about pointing out that people would notice and try to help them rather than saying the attention in that case would be a good thing. As much as their leader loved the lime light even he surely had sensible limits.
When Ella made her correction to his misunderstanding Remus gave her a dumb stuck look as he took her words and reconnected the dots in his mind. "Ah! Hehe, I guess I still had combat on the brain and just assumed you meant the Beowolves. If you really want to learn more about them I guess I could let you study them later." He offered. Once they returned to the dorm there would be no problem with conjuring up whatever critter she wanted. Chloris seems like she might be the type that might ask for him to do so just so she could play with the animals he makes if she didn't already have her kitten to fill the role of cute fluffy animal to pet for her. After Ella had finished her scrutiny of him she pulled back with a satisfied comment. 'Was she worried about me?' He wondered before reaching up to take the water bottle she offered to him. "Is it ok? I mean these are your reserves for your semblance, right?" He asked as she headed over to the others and gave them some as well. It didn't seem like she would accept any of them refusing them. So he went ahead and opened the bottle and drank about half as he wandered around the scene examining the ground.
"Nah, I got through without taking a hit to anything but my summons. My aura has almost finished recovering from those blows now too." He explained after hearing Chloris ask if he needed anything from her herbal med kit. He turned his gaze back to the ground from Chloris as she started to take off her upper layers of clothes to patch them and Henryk's pant leg up. The ground was a mess for the most part as Remus looked around but the edges had more noticeable tracks. When he followed the most prominent set leading away from the wrecked carriage he ended up joining up with Ella off in the trees a bit. He approached from behind her as she examined the bark on a tree and called out that it looks like whatever had happened had wandered off into the trees in this direction. The footprints he was following were all human like but that damage likely wasn't caused by mankind. "The question is what are we following. Is it the missing people, the grimm that did this, or both? It's hard to tell for sure that both went this way but at least the people seemed to have." He commented as he stepped up to stand at her side while scanning the forest ahead of them. He glanced at her before holding out the bottle of water she gave him earlier. The way he was holding it out was pointing the bottom of the bottle as well as a finger towards her pack, but it was still held out as if offering... "You should drink some too you know. You've lost more fluids than most of us because of that wound."

He had only tossed a quick glance to the other two when he was keeping an eye out for Chloris and thus had not seen Ella's much larger blood stain. Part of her top was soaked in blood from what it seemed, all on one of her sides. All thoughts of his own minor wound and the tear in his pants faded from his mind. "Ella! Are you ok!?" He would ask very much worried for her safety and well being. He had already agreed to sit still for Chloris to tend to his own wound and pants, but he had a concerned look on his face for Ella. It looked much worse than his own wound. Remus would then go on to say that if he tried to make a competition of it he would go after him and that it would be light compared to what Chloris would do. Which while Henryk knew the latter to be true he just shook his head at the first part of it. "I would never do that on purpose! I can't do any acrobatics or performances if I was too wounded. You know me better than that. Besides, being too hurt would mean i'm stuck in the infirmary all day and that is horrible!" He would respond enthusiastically, though he was almost always enthusiastic. He would never purposely try to get hurt to show off, it was just the bright side to it. That Remus would even think he would do something like that for something so serious was crazy. While Henryk was still worried for Ella, he figured she could not be that badly off if Remus was letting her walk and everything. Remus was as protective of her as Henryk was for the entire team.
Henryk's attention was drawn back to Chloris as she mentioned her mud thingy helping and that he was a city boy. He didn't know if he should've been offended by that, opened his mouth to deny it... then closed it as he thought about it. He may have been in a circus for a long time, but that also meant he was in a city a lot of the time too. So she was partly right? He had no clue how that counted or how to respond for once so he just stayed silent. He would then see her take a ripped piece of her own cloak and a water bottle, wetting the fabric and beginning to clean his bloody leg. He flinched initially from the feeling of it, not expecting it to feel that way and being slightly sensitive there. He gave no comment on that though, gritting his teeth as he did his best not to complain about it. After seeing Ella's own blood he did not feel like he could complain about something so minor after all, though he did feel bad that Chloris had to use part of her cloak to help clean his leg. He would have to make it up to her somehow later. He was glad though to get a giggle from her about his fighting grimm in undies comment, though she gave him an odd look when he mentioned not knowing what he would do without her. He didn't know why she looked at him like that though. Despite being on a team, it didn't mean he couldn't be grateful for someones help. Even if it was expected at times. Not all teams actually worked out after all, given it felt like you were playing the lotto from what he heard of how it was determined. Chloris would manage to clean his wound almost completely, and Henryk's cheeks flushed red as he saw how minor it was. 'Well I was right to worry more about my clothes at least.' He thought to himself. She would then open the mud jar as Henryk would recoil slightly but still remain seated. It was not a pleasant smell in the slightest. "Ugh, why does medicine always have to smell and taste bad." He grumbled aloud albeit quietly. He jumped slightly at the sudden cool feeling of it being applied to the skin, not at all expecting it to be cold. At the least though, it brought almost immediate relief to the slight burning feeling it had been giving him. His startled expression had quickly shifted to a relaxed one as she continued to apply it... though he was noticeably breathing through his mouth now. "What'cha gonna do with that?" He asked as she picked up a branch and brought it back before sitting in front of him. She seemed to be concentrating so he waited for whatever was supposed to happen... before he saw it wrapping around his wounds. "Oooh, cool." He would say in slight fascination. He found all his team mates semblances to be so cool, much more so than his. As it was finished and she said she was done, he would test it out a little in movement to see it didn't really restrict him. He admired it for a second before having to comment. "I don't suppose it comes in black or red?" He would lightly joke to her, smile on his face. Though if she could make it change color like that, he would not object.
Chloris would then turn to the other two and ask if they needed anything from her med kit, both saying no. Remus had apparently gone through it all unscathed to boot. 'Lucky.' Henryk thought to himself, but not in any form of resentment. He was glad at least one of his team had come through uninjured, but wished he himself had not been injured either. Ella would then walk over and offer Henryk some water, to which he would give her a wide smile as he accepted it. "Thanks Ella!" He would respond happily as he took a long, long drink of the water. Long enough to drink the entire bottle in one go. While he could last a decent while without water, whenever he had opportunity to it he could drink till he was bloated. Even if he drank soda more often than not. Henryk would find his attention drawn back to Chloris as he heard her grumbling. Though upon turning his gaze to her, he saw her taking off her cloak and see she was cut a bit on her tunic. It seemed Remus was the only lucky one to get out of everything completely safe. Then... she would begin to remove her tunic! Henryk blushed bright red and covered his eyes with his hands... Not wanting to see Chloris naked nor wanting to deal with the repercussions of such things. She would then say something about a lot of sewing to do and then before he knew it he could hear her closer to him saying she would work on his pants. His eyes had been covered to that point... but he knew Chloris. Or thought he did. She would not be naked when she was sewing his pants...right? 'If I open my eyes there is a fifty percent chance of death.' He silently thought to himself... She had also mentioned accidentally poking him with a needle if he moved... "Ok, I will not move a muscle..." he would say, also meaning he would not take his hands away from covering his eyes.
Henryk would overhear Ella and Remus apparently following some tracks going in some direction, not being able to check himself with his self imposed blindfold. Remus would then mention who they were tracking and that the tracks seemed to be people. Not one to be left out of things, Henryk would pipe up while still blind. "The people of course! We have to save whoever we can, that is our first priority. And maybe from them we can figure out what happened too. As soon as we are all ready we should head out soon." Henryk would say, speaking loud enough for them all to hear. Probably not the greatest idea if there was still Grimm up and about, but they probably would've come in when the fighting started anyway. He would patiently await Chloris to finish stitching his own pants leg before, once making sure it was safe to look, offering to help her where he could for her stuff and for herself. Once all was said and done, he would join Remus and Ella with Chloris as he would look at the jumbled mess of tracks. Tracking was very much not his forte. "Alright, since you two seemed to figure out where the tracks go lead the way? We should be prepared in case any other Grimm may be lurking around. I shall go by tree top so I can maybe get the jump on any that try." Henryk would offer, and suggest that Ella and Remus lead. He knew where his strengths were, and he would be of little help in tracking. However, being up in the trees was something that could help in case of another ambush. He would be ready this time, and he would try to stop his team from getting hurt again. While he was the official team leader, he knew to give it up to whoever seemed to know what to do at the time. Its why they were a team; they all compensated for each others weaknesses. ✘ Post count: 41 ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ OOC: Lets get this shown on the road!

Chloris's focus was on the task at hand when she would hear Henryk's comment and scowl slightly."Not all medicine tastes/smells horrid,"She disagreed before placing it on his skin. Once care for him had been complete, she had made the leg vambrace, rolling her eyes but smiling at his question if it came in his two favorite colors. She then started her sewing tasks.
As Ella approached them with water bottles, she smiled kindly to her friend and teammate."Thank you kindly Ella, but I got another bottle in the bag, so I'm good,"She replied, sincerely touched at the gesture. She would finish the sewing of Henryk's pants and sat back with satisfaction of her work. She would then move away so that she may work on her own clothes, which would not take long. Though she would p***k herself once or twice in the process as her other teammates went tracking.
Her attention as she finished would go towards looking up at Ella and Remus. There were tracks, like she had noticed before they got heated in battle. Frowning slightly, she would stand her redress in her tunic and cloak, now fixed. Putting her things away, she would then walk over and grab another, slightly larger branch and close her eyes"I'm almost ready, just give me a minute,"She stated, not saying what she was making, but she hoped Ella would accept the extra protection as she would make her a flexible vest of sorts to not only keep the bandages in place but that would also keep their friend a little more protected should they get attacked again.

The tracks would lead the group ever deeper into the woods. Had the merchants gotten turned around or had they been running from something? Footprints, broken twigs and even some scraps of cloth caught on thorns would guide their way. It certainly seemed like whoever tracks these belonged to, were in a panic yet there didn't seem to be an indication of anything following them. Eventually, they would start to see large paw prints. They didn't seem to be following the other footsteps, but there was certainly something in the area. A cave would appear ahead, nestled in the side of the hill and surrounded by the forest trees. The merchants almost certainly took refuge inside, but whatever made the paw prints might be inside as well.

Ella Fletcher "Would you like to go for a swim?"
Ella gave up a bit of her water for the others to drink, Remus was right in what he was saying, the water was reserved for her semblance however she knew she couldn't always rely on it and also cared too much for her team to let them be thirsty. She got a little fright when Henryk shouted towards her, asking if she was ok, Ella looked to her wound and the blood soaked through her top and smirked. "I'm just hoping it'll make a cool battle wound.. that's all!" she said, winking to Henryk as she laughed a little, trying to make light of the situation. She was just happy that he agreed to have a drink, and nodded in acknowledgment to Chloris, "Ah, of course, I should have known you'd come prepared as always Chlo!" she said, as she then continued to the tree and examined the markings on it.
She became more serious as she looked ahead of them, Remus was right - whatever damaged the tree was no human. She rubbed her hand over it, and looked around them. "Too high to be a-" she was thinking in her mind, as usual she was trying to put her brain to work of reading that she had done. As she was remembering about a book she had read about Grimm, she was then distracted by Remus holding out the water from before. "He wants to share the same bottle with me?!!?!" she almost yelled in her mind, her entire face going a bright shade of red, as per usual when something like this happened. "I uh.. don't- yes.." the bookworm was speechless, she placed her hand on the book that was still firmly attached to her belt and attempted to breathe without him noticing too much her panic. Her face felt hot though, and that usually meant to her that she was blushing, and badly.
"Y-yes.. thanks.." she said, as she took the bottle and slowly, but surely, took a drink from it. Ella was not too sure what this meant for them both, but it was most likely nothing and she was reading into it too much. She took a little sip and then placed it back in her bag, looking over to the team. Ella looked above them at the trees that Henryk gestured to, and pondered in her mind for a second, "You be careful when you go up there though Henryk, a view from above might just be of great assistance in this dull wood though.." she said, giving him the option to do what he wanted, he was the leader.
Ella watched as Chloris was gathering materials to make something, she tilted her head a little, almost wanting to see what it was but unable to for the moment. She smiled, Chloris was so useful to have around, Ella was only really handy when someone needed to go for a swim. This made her a little frustrated, but she had accepted it a long time ago. "We are just going to walk a little Chlo, we won't be far.." she said, waving her teammate as she ventured a little bit deeper in.

As would be more or less expected Henryk denied that he would be intentionally reckless. He definitely had a point about how he would end up in the infirmary if he was too reckless. Remus couldn't imagine something that Henryk would likely hate more than being immobile and stuck in a bed all day for weeks on end. If such a fate befell their leader he imaged someone's scroll on the team would be blowing up all the time as Henryk pursued someone to keep him entertained. Remus wasn't 100% sure on who that scroll would belong to though. What drew his attention more that Henryk's response was Ella's though. She was playing off the cut in her side. "Wouldn't competing for worst or most bad a** scar usually fall to Henryk and myself?" He muttered softly. His voice was probably too soft for anyone to overhear but it was clear that he didn't like the idea of the girls getting all battered. Then again given his personality if the girls ended up with cool battle wounds with epic stories behind them then who knows what he and maybe Henryk would end up with while trying to cover for them.
While he was helping Ella with the investigations he nodded his head in agreement to what she was saying while investigating the tree. Since she was right there he made no effort to get in closer to look himself. It would be awkward to be climbing over her anyway. Plus based on what she was saying and how her fingers were feeling out the gouges in the wood she seemed to be comparing the damage to book borne knowledge of grimm markings. His urging her to drink some water as well distracted her from the study. He hadn't expected her to turn so red though. 'What is up with that?' The index finger he had extended to point at her pack curled back up to the side of the bottle as it was tilted more to side as a result of him being puzzled. His head was also tilted just a little to the side in the same way he was now holding the bottle. 'She's stumbling over her words too?' She reached for her book and he could clearly see her chest lift and then fall as she took and let out a big breath. Her attempt to calm herself had next to no impact on preventing him from noticing she was in a panic. Hard to hide something that has already been found after all. Plus her face was still burning a bright red.
HUH!? She took the bottle from him. 'Wait? Was she working up the nerve to?' Ella was slow about it which only made the interaction seem all the more not a casual happening but she took a drink from it. 'She drank from my bottle!!!' He was mentally yelling now too as he watched her. Even he was starting to turn red now. She took her drink from what water was left in the bottle and then returned the bottle to her bag. Remus blinked and forced his racing thoughts to slam on the brakes. He wasn't the sort to get all worked up over the whole indirect kiss thing. It wasn't that big of a deal really. He still turned around while Ella was looking down at her bag to put the bottle away and started to move off a few steps so she wouldn't be able to see that he was also blushing a little. That they were both thinking about it and reading into what just happened in similar ways. "S-so if were are ready to get going I'll send out my scouts again." He called out as he approached the edge of the more clear area along side the road. His titanium blue aura started to rise up from the palm of his hand as he held up his right hand with the palm help skyward. The mist spilling from his hand released ten spectral birds that took off in all directions, while the last five critters were foxes, they spread out into a arc in front of them as they disappeared into the undergrowth.
While he set up their eyes and ears before they pushed on Remus could hear the others talking. Henryk said that he was going to take to the trees from here on. Ella who was just a couple meters behind him responded to their leader. Mostly a caution to watch his footing. Chloris also seemed like she was ready to start moving again. Remus, who was back in control of his blushing, looked back over his shoulder at the girls. "Let's get moving. Those people aren't going to find themselves. As nice as that would be." That said Remus started to walk into the trees. He made extra certain he took his first step with his right foot for good luck. He didn't move fast so that Chloris would be able to catch up in a heart beat with them. And if she did go astray a little blue transparent bird would come swooping it to chirp at her so she could follow it back. (Just in case, because Remus is such the cautious type.) After the group had been moving through the brush for a while Remus stopped walking and frowned while looking up into the trees where Henryk is at. he hadn't said anything about the signs they had been passing so far like torn fabric bits and the like but his scouts had found something a bit more important to announce. "Henryk! There's a cave a ways up ahead. The tracks, at least the human ones, were headed toward it."

Since he had no real skill in tracking, he had figured it was best to let them lead the rest of them to where the people may have ended up going while he did what he always did best; do some cool acrobatics in the trees for travel. It allowed him to keep watch, as unnecessary as it could be with Remus' semblance, and split the team so if there was any ambush they could quickly step in to help one another. As more than likely, if they were anything like Henryk, attackers would be focused on one group instead of both. Chloris had also followed him in the tree tops, something he had not been expecting, but was welcome for the company nonetheless. While normally very talkative and cheery, Henryk had remained uncharacteristically silent through their travels. He was mostly focused on keeping a look out for any people or Grimm that may try their hand like the lasts ones. While he was an easily distracted person, the constant moving and flips made it so he could not get side tracked as he moved through the trees. He was already doing a lot at once, so the very minor things wouldn't be enough to taker his attention for now. If anything, the minor distractions helped to make sure he kept a lookout around him.
After a little bit of travel, he would hear Remus call out that there was a cave and that the human tracks had led to them. Feeling a surge of anticipation in him, and worry, he would descend from the trees and ultimately do a flip to land right beside him. Turning to look to him with a smile on his face Henryk would answer, not that one was really needed. "All right, if they are in there we should get ready. If a few wolves ambushed us from where they were, who knows what may have tried following them. Either way, we should probably make our presence known... " He would say as his eyes briefly turned to the surroundings of the cave. He at least didn't see anything that was overtly dangerous for the most part. Even with his faunus vision, he could not see very far into the cave. He had paused and trailed off as he said it though. In the worst case scenario they may be dead and he would just attract whatever was inside and maybe outside. 'But I can't give up hope! They made it this far after all.' He thought to himself with a determined and stubborn look; one that was usually indicative of him about to do something that may not be the wisest course of action. He would cup his hands around his mouth as he faced the cave entrance, being a bit distant from the opening in case something came out that he wasn't prepared for. "HELLO, ANYONE IN THERE? WE ARE HERE TO HELP!" He would yell aloud, his cupped hands amplifying his voice. If anyone was in there and alright, he wanted them to know help was here for them and come. The last thing he needed was to walk in there and being attacked because they were confused for Grimm. He would wait a little to see if they got a response or not. This also had the added benefit in the case of there being something bad in there that it came out. He didn't want to walk into another ambush again if he could help it. ✘ Post count: 46 ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ OOC: Lets hope we get people and not Grimm again...
Chloris merely smiled sheepishly to Ella's remark of always being prepared. It was just something she had been taught on their farm; expecting anything could happen and water...well, hard work was not good when dehydrated, so it was extra important. Once she was done with Henryk and herself, and moved on with making something for Ella. So, she only nodded in response to the girl's comment of going for a walk; too focused on her own thing. Although she did make sure to drink water as she did so. Once she was done though, the petite young woman smiled with satisfaction and went to join her teammates.
Okay, so she might've fallen a little far behind, but she would join them swiftly enough after slipping her tunic and cloak back on as well as collecting her things. Placing the wood fiber vest in the bag for now, weapon at her side and her staff at her back. She did not have to look far before her mossy green eyes would settle on a spectral bird that she would follow. But, instead of walking, she chose to travel through the trees. Skipping from one branch to the next, parallel to their team leader.
Smiling when she saw the fair-haired duo below, she would nod to Remus's little helper."Thank you little one,"Chlo told the spirit bird with a sincere smile before making her way towards them. Above them really before she too would descend with a leap onto the lush below with a soft sigh. The petite young woman frowned as she would take in their current surroundings and listened to her teammates. Taking her staff from her back she would then remember she had the vest and, taking it out with one hand, she would lightly poke Ella with it."Please take it Ella. We don't know what we're up against in here,"Chloris said softly. She would then scowl slightly at the ram boy for yelling but guessed it was better than going in blind. So, as she waited for Ella's response and anything from the cave they now faced, she gripped her staff, ready for possible attack.

Ella Fletcher "Would you like to go for a swim?"
As they walked through the forest, Ella trailed a little behind Remus, watching Henryk up in the trees with slight envy. She pouted her lips slightly, a small frown on her brow also. "One day you could stop being so useless Ella.." she muttered to herself so she would be the only one to hear it. As she was getting lost in her thoughts, she heard Remus mention towards a cave in an opening, her head lifted as she looked almost excited that something was happening - this was soon distracted when she watched Chloris join Henryk in the tree top search, and spent almost too time watching them both being useful for the team.
Ella was the last to join the group at the cave entrance, she had to lightly jog to catch up with them. Holding her chest again, her wound was beginning to become achy again, she attempted to look as fine as she possibly could. Chloris tapped Ella with something, diverting her attention to what appeared to be a handmade vest she had made. Ella looked at her friend for a brief moment, a look of disbelief and respect on her face as she then took the vest and placed it on, slowly to be sure not to hurt her wound. "Thank you Chlo… this is going to-" she was soon interrupted as she was totally thrown off by Henryk shouting loudly into the cave.
Now if there was one thing Ella had learned through her years of reading books, both fiction and fact. Characters in her books that shouted into unknown areas tended to gain unwanted attention, usually resulting in their death. She instantly leapt at Henryk and forced her hand over his lips, looking around them. "Henryk, please keep your voice down! We don't have a clue what's in there!!" she whispered harshly. Looking at the cave entrance now with complete worry in her face, "Good things never follow someone shouting into the abyss like that!" she added, as she continued to hold his mouth shut.. longer than she needed to, it was quite comical. Who had heard his yell?.. or what?.

"I'm in here!" A male voice shouted back in desperation at the same time a female voice called out "We need help!" Evidently, those inside the cave weren't worried that Henryk being from the tribe or bandits, or perhaps they were simply that desperate it was worth the risk. They would hear an excited babble of voices as they entered the cave and when their eyes adjusted to the dim light they would see a small group of faunus huddled against the cave wall. A male bear faunus, a guard of the merchants by the armour he wore, had a badly broken arm. A female bunny, with snow white ears, who wore matching armour had large blooded claw marks in her chest. If it wasn't for the armour she would likely be dead already. Some attempts had been made to patch up the two. One was holding a bloody rag to the bleeding woman's chest while an attempt at a sling had been made for the other. The remaining three were clearly the merchants themselves by their once fancy garb, though now their clothes were torn and stained and their faces dirty and sweaty. Twigs and leaves decorated most of their hair. "Mary-Gold also twisted her ankle." The male merchant added helpfully, or perhaps unhelpfully depending on how you looked at it. One thing was clear, this group wasn't going to be moving quickly.
((Patch up the merchants and get them moving!))

Remus looked up as Henryk called back down from the tree tops. He had a point about the ambush. Though it could be the beowolves were completely unrelated to their quarry. Or they could of just lost them and doubled back. It is hard to know what grimm are thinking. If they really think at all like we do. For all we know they don't get smarter with age, their instincts just get sharper. Remus glanced around. As he did the rest of what Henryk had said suddenly clicked in his mind. 'Wait, make ourselves known. He isn't planning to... Yep, yep he was.' The worried thought turned into an exasperated tone in his mind as Henryk started to shout into the cave's mouth. His voice being amplified and echoing about as it traveled into the depths of the cave. Remus just stared on in disbelief while Ella acted. The girl darted right over to clap a hand over Henryk's mouth and gag him from any more shouting. Remus noticed there was something off about how Ella looked now but he couldn't put a finger on what had changed since he was in high tension mode right now. Like Ella he turned his head to the cave and watched it with an air of suspicion. His hands worked robotic to take and arrow from the quiver and nock it to the bowstring.
No angry roar came out though. There was no rush of grimm. 'Did we just use up all our luck for the rest of the week here?' He wondered as he stared. The collection of foxes sitting at the cave mouth shifted form and a small swarm of spectral bats flew into the cave. While they quickly made their way in deeper Remus followed after them. Again taking point since his shared senses with the bats let him make out the cave's lay out and content pretty well. Remus wasn't rushing as he advanced. At least not until something came echoing from the back of the cave to them. A clear voice saying they were there and needed help. The tension in his body faded a little and he lowered the bow. Letting the drawn string slacken for the first time since he nocked the arrow. "Seems we really lucked out on Hernyk's gamble here." He sighed as he looked back at the others, curious if the girls felt the same way.
Remus left the arrow in place on the bow string as he moved forward again. This time with a purposeful haste. The cave wasn't super large and his bats had found where the group was. There were five in all. It didn't take much more than a minute more to reach them. The light was bad but there was enough of a dim glow to make out the people. Two guards and three merchants by the look of it. The male guard was standing at the front of the group. Remus would bet he was the guy they heard calling back to Henryk. There was a girl in bad shape laying in the back. Seemed they had been doing what they could to help her up til now. Remus didn't like the look of her wounds though. One of the merchants mentioned that someone had a bum ankle as well. From the name and what he could see Remus figured it was the girl among the merchants and he fixed his eyes on her for a moment. He then turned back towards Chloris first. She seemed to have a proper med kit of some kind. "I don't suppose that med kit of yours can do anything about the bunny girl?" he cast another glance at the bad claw marks in her chest.
Remus studied everyone once more and then moved over to stand closer to Henryk. "The guys can probably all move on their own power, but that girl is hopeless and the merchant girl wont be able to move fast if her ankle really is messed up. If we can make find stuff to make a stretcher then we could let the two merchant guys carry the injured guard. As for the other girl I can bring out a dire wolf again. They are big enough for someone to ride on. At least then we should be able to maintain some good mobility for a time at least." Remus talked in a fairly casual tone. Since he was making plans for what to do when they were ready to get moving, and they didn't involve leaving any one behind he made no effort to keep the discussion quiet. The girls might have additional ideas to pitch as well and if there was some other issue they needed to know that would be a hindrance to what he had laid out it would be better if the people they were here to help out could hear how they were thinking to achieve that goal.
