Izobel
She had been running late. Fall was definitely here to stay and in response Izobel had been shoring up protection for her bees before winter set in. That taken care of the teen had rushed out her home and towards the church were Rhona was hosting her Harvest Festival. Izzy had met the young woman over the summer and had been intrigued by the ideas that Rhona had had for the property that she had purchased. It had been a while since they'd last seen one another but Izobel was certain that dropping by wouldn't be a big deal. The flier had stated that the Harvest Festival was open to anyone who felt like dropping by. Since her bees were taken care of Izzy had decided to spend her now freed up day just wandering around and taking in the sights.
Approaching the address Izobel had to admit that the exterior looked rather inviting. The redhead paused to take in the decorations outside before passing straight through the church and into the back area. Taking in the sight of the maze though Izzy frowned. She still remembered last year's misfortune and hoped that this year things would relatively normal. With a sigh she turned away from the maze and glanced around for the host of the festival. What she had expected to find was not at all what she had envisioned though. Something was moving towards her and as Izobel narrowed her violet eyes to take in the rogue object before recognizing what it was she was staring at. Perhaps it was that small amount of time that had the redhead end up wearing pumpkin innards on her fall coat. She'd not been quick enough to dodge the pumpkin projectiles. Pulling a face Izobel took her sleeve and attempted to wipe away the residue before noting the direction the animated gourd had gone in. That definitely was not normal pumpkin behavior. Was it better to go after the pumpkin? Maybe so, but Izzy wanted to check in at least just to make sure that things were okay.

Delaney
Delaney wasn't sure why the "Welcome" sign caught her eye but it had. The property had just enough charm to draw the teen forward to examine the decorations just a little more closely. The time and effort to transform the lawn in the front seemed to settle the matter of indecision. Strolling with purpose to the church proper Delaney was doubly impressed with the state the mums were in. Shaking herself out of mental musing about flowers and plants the teen admitted herself quietly into the church proper. That was what this building had been but now the inside had been renovated to something that really was as far from church-like as a place could be. That wasn't to say though that the interior was a mess. Far from it. Delaney felt her breath catch at the work that had been done inside before taking in the various areas that had been denoted to house certain vendors. Her gaze dropped to the shopping bags that she still carried before she pursed her lips together. Getting these groceries home would just have to wait a little longer.
Strolling slowly in order to make sure that she didn't miss a single thing inside Delaney noted the areas that she would have to return to once her initial perusal was complete. Taking in the aroma from the cider cafe she was curious if they'd serve her something later. Delaney paused briefly to ask if there was a place that she could leave her bags unattended and claim them at a later time. Given permission Delaney left her bags inside and continued on towards a side entrance that would take her outside once more. Once more outside the teen swept her gaze over the decorations and fingered a flower that was obviously fake this time. It was still a beautiful bloom but she couldn't appreciate it as much as the real thing. She was about to continue on her inspection when the strangest sight met her eyes. Surely she was imagining a pumpkin that seemed to be hopping around with no sense of being directed by a puppeteer. It just wasn't possible.
And yet even as she stood there in shock the cackling sound emitting from the rolling gourd was even stranger. Delaney stepped back in surprise as the thing veered away from crowds of people, regurgitating pumpkin vomit on those unlucky enough to be caught unawares. Did she want to get involved? Heavens no. Was this something unnatural? Most definitely. But how did one go about stopping a pumpkin that seemed to be alive? Was it even worth trying to stop it? Taking in the scenery once more Delaney grimaced. No tools in sight that could help it seemed. She'd go after it with her bare hands then. Whatever IT was.

He’d just selected the whiskey and cider mix, which he thought sounded rather amazing, when… things started going to heck. The cup was maybe half way to his mouth when something shrieked and caused him to almost double over at the sound. He turned around in time to see… Attack of the killer pumpkins basically. His shoulders drooped and he glanced between drink and pumpkin, while pausing to watch as a young lady pulled the arm from a scarecrow and attempted to stop the whole mess in its tracks, ultimately without success. He sighed heavily, slammed back his drink and squared his shoulders. At least he had a good excuse still for not putting on the pen-uniform he’d been avoiding for some time. “I’m honestly amazed I’m not hearing more pumpkin spice quips.” He muttered as he stomped after it and tried to put his nice boots to good use. It was a little faster than he expected, or maybe he was just out of practice. He had far too much experience with 'party life' to blame a singular cup of cider for throwing off his game, no matter how fast he'd slammed it back.

Izobel
Izobel fumed silently. Whatever that thing had been it's well-timed arrival was causing chaos at Rhona's event. She was torn. The redhead wondered if her wanting to hunt down that pumpkin would help to restore order to the festival. Briefly she debated options before looking down at the mess that was still on her coat. Izobel made up her mind then. The teen would dispatch of whatever was wrong with the 'magical' pumpkin and then return to the festival itself.
Minutes later the teen was wearing more pumpkin innards as she watched the gourd roll off to a new destination. Her resolve was wavering at the second collection of material on her coat and she sighed. Maybe she should have stayed put earlier. Rising to her feet Izzy glanced down at her jacket. Did pumpkin even wash out? Checking her surroundings the teen retraced her steps and kept a vigilant eye on the area around her lest the pumpkin try a sneak attack. She hadn't managed to stop it and that was bugging her a little inside but at least now she could be able to assist Rhona, if her help was needed, that was.

Pythia
Her clothes were a mess from pumpkin vomit, and Pythia had little else to her pride left but a second chance at revenge. So she took it, chasing after the pumpkin youma again, foot stomping her way across the grass. Honestly, had no one thought about the fact that s**t like this happened all the time? Where were the firemen, or the senshi, or anyone who could actively power up to bootstomp this little- ugh!
Trying not to slip in the pumpkinvomit, she went after it again. How many strikes before the just gave up and let the pumpkin run amok?

"Only if you can convince him you're not a baby," Marnie laughed, rolling her eyes. There was no way anyone was mistaking them for being old enough to drink. She hadn't done her make up in a way that conveyed that and well, Marnie thought Maggie had a baby face.
She was on the fence at how old Nolan looked.
She was going to say something to the boy, probably wanting to ask exactly how old he was when Maggie's declaration rang in her ears. Her own latte was clutched against her chest when she tried to shove Nolan forward to deal with the pumpkin, a weak attempt at stomping being made.
Her boots were new, she didn't really want to dirty them.

DelaneyDelaney was curious still about what was causing the pumpkin to move around. Her gaze swept back and forth as she tried to lock on to the movements of the creature. Perhaps it was what Itsuki called a youma. However with a start she knew that if this thing was going to be dusted it would have to be as a civilian.

As soon as Delaney got her hands on the suddenly animated jack-o-lantern, it POOFed into dust, leaving only globs of gooey, sticky pumpkin guts telling the tale of what had happened. No sooner had the dust from the last youma settled that there came another crash from within the church itself. Was that... was that glass? Those brave enough to venture into the building from the pumpkin station out back would see yet another youma quite literally crashing the party. The beast let out a great squeal, so high-pitched and loud that it caused eyes to cross. With a wingspan of about that of a grown man, it soared overhead, perching in rafters just long enough to seek out a new victim and then dive bomb them, tangling it's wickedly jagged mouth in their hair or maybe making off with an article of clothing before soaring back out of reach once more. Quote: Looks like a rogue youma is crashing the party! The good news is that he's nice and weak, so there's no need to power up, not to mention there no where to do so. Just squash the little monster in any way you see fit and he's dusted! To catch him, roll a ten-sided dice. The person to roll the same number rolled here dusts the youma! This post will be up for 24 hours, and if no one has rolled the same number, then I will roll form the closest rolls. You may roll once every hour. litian just to keep you posted heart

Nolan had been about to answer Maggie when it seemed that she was making promises for him. "Whatever, as long as you keep them." He said. If it meant more trips to the Ren Fest, then that was fine with him! He didn't care too much about drinking, but if the girls wanted to go in that direction then he couldn't stop them. He did think it would be hilarious if the guy did drink with them and was horrified when he found out the girls were underage. Nolan was just about to take another sip of his precious latte when suddenly he heard an ear-piercing screech which almost caused him to drop his latte! Luckily he managed to keep a hold on it, but after the screech was done he could have sworn he was deaf for a few seconds. It wasn't until he looked around to see what had happened that he saw the pumpkin moving around and... well he wasn't sure what to think of it. Was it a real monster? Was it just some sort of weird prompt? He didn't know but there was one thing for sure that he wasn't going to do, and that was going after it and trying to catch it. No way was he letting go of his latte and chasing after the weird living pumpkin that seemed to be spitting out pumpkin guts or whatever. He made sure to dodge it when it got too close though, making sure that he wouldn't have gross pumpkin guts hitting him. Soon enough though, someone had caught it, and it had poofed into the air. "Was... was that pumpkin real?" He asked the girls, but as soon as the words had come out of his mouth, there was a crash of glass and he sighed. Honestly, all he had wanted to do was just look around and sip glorious fake pumpkin flavor! He said with a resigned sigh, "You girls want to go and check out that noise? Maybe we're living in an episode of Scooby Doo."

Maggie was still skating across the slime when someone else managed to squash the pumpkin. She fell on her butt with an oomph!. Her cheeks reddened, she glanced over her shoulder only to see Thomas standing nearby. She got up as gracefully as possibly, adjusted her puffy vest, and tried to walk by him with confidence to return to Nolan and Maggie. Just as there was another commotion, this time inside the church. "Ugh, come on, DC, I had plans!" She leaned into Nolan and frowned at Marnie. "Yes, Nole, real moving pumpkin. Real stupid DC. On a scale of 1 to 10, how stupid did I look? Wait, don't answer. Maybe answer? Ugh, this really is not my day." Her eyes moved to the church, considering what Nolan suggested. Well, she wasn't going to let him go alone. "Yeah, let's go... wait!" An idea had occurred to her, and she smiled conspiratorially to Marnie and Nolan before darting over to Thomas. Accidentally bumping into Thomas, Maggie caught herself on his arm. "Did you hear that inside? People could be in trouble. The three of us--" She gestured to Nolan and Marnie. "--are going to check it out. Would you come? Strength in numbers and all that, you know how DC is. Oh, also, I'm Maggie." She reached out for a handshake with a smile. Meet-cute was a go.

Covered in pumpkin guts, furious from two poor attacks on a pumpkin- seriously, she couldn't even fight a pumpkin?- Pythia was already read to go home and change, and never go out in public again because everything was clearly awful in this town around the holidays. Well- not never go out again. People had too much value for her to go without. Still, she would need to get some of this cleaned up, or...
Crash!!!
.... Really? Pythia was so annoyed that she pulled a long wad of pumpkin off her shirt and chucked it at the youma-bat.
