__ Taylor was cold, distant, and a completely different person from Sunagakure's golden boy that he knew years ago. Time steadily meant less and less to the immortal human puppet but it felt like an eternity since they were all just friends under the warm Sunagakure sun. Doing missions with Bastet-sensei or Nariomi-sensei and going on missions and adventures together. Those days were stolen from them by the chaos of this new world. Tetsuhiko felt an acute sting in his heart from Taylor's dismissal and distant look in his eyes. He was someone who could always be so hopeful and believed in the best of humanity. Tetsuhiko understood what it was like to be broken down by the past and having to build himself back up again. He would not resent Taylor for any of this given Masato's concise explanation but it did not help shake away the pain. When Zhi went quiet he could tell that she felt wounded by this as well. The Kogarashi name stuck out to him. "The first winds of winter." Tetsuhiko thought and appreciated the beautiful aesthetic of such a name, but could not get too swept up in that given the somber circumstances. The Iron Prince would now follow his friend out of the area. For once, the bard had nothing to say and he knew that it was best to just go and support his friend.

Taylor hesitated for a moment when he was told that the girl had feelings for him. He looked at her and saw clearly the pain that was on her face. He felt awful. Unfortunately, there was no context within him as to why he should feel the pain he did. To him, these two were just outsiders who threatened his ability to successfully escape Kogarashi and make peace with Uzoshio. When she left, the one with the peacock feather in his mask left also. Taylor shook his head and focused on Masato.
"This man I am with is a rogue of Uzushiogakure. He is also the one from the initial report about Kogarashi trying to steal students from the academy." Taylor said to his friend. Since Masato was the one who gave him such information, it was imperative that he returned the favor. "It is because of him that Uzushiogakure wanted to capture and arrest me. However, if he is the one to return me, and he is the one to claim my innocence in the crimes of the rogue organization, then I will be able to return as a free ninja, and with it I hope to gain favor with the Uzukage." He said. This was the plan that Shinsei and Taylor had laid out. All that needed to occur was for them to return to the village.

As Taylor laid out the plan, the Senju nodded his head once. He had steeled his resolve to complete the 'mission' given out to him, regardless of the risks it was surrounded with. Taylor had been a friend, and in the face of potential persecution by the shinobi of Uzushiogakure, he remained truthful and loyal to their determinations. Shinsei knew that a great deal was depending on him -- a whole other life, bountiful and beautiful as it was.
That meant . . . that he needed to do the right thing. They needed to go back there, together. And he knew that.
So they -- they had to do it. Right now. There could be no opportunity for either of them to second guess.
"Taylor," he spoke to his comrade, laying a gentle hand upon his shoulder. Even despite their previous moments, he placed no particular context on his contact. He just... needed to know, before he went, that the other trusted him. Physical contact between shinobi was, if nothing else, a sign of great trust. "Let's go. There -- is really no time to waste. The longer I'm gone... the more conclusions they'll form. I'm... as far as either of you are concerned? I never left Uzushio. I was never a Wanderer, and certainly not a Rogue. At least... until we get done what we have to."
With those words, he beckoned Taylor to follow, and he left his old compound in a great stride -- through the marches and the fields, and finally, to where the Land of Eddies met the Village Hidden in the Whirlpools.

Masato would turn, sighing. He was unsure about Shinsei. Still, Taylor had gotten himself into the mess...he would have to figure this part out on his own. He would open another Kamui portal and head back into the village.

tab Lahlil tipped toed barefoot through the sandy shore path doing her best to avoid the pointy rocks and shells that lined the waters. It absolutely reeked of sea salt and the dead fish that the seagulls were turning into their afternoon lunch. By now she should thankfully be coming to the next port town, only having taken an extra few hours to do so. However necessary it was to prepare beforehand Lahlil still found herself regretting her choice, It was detestably miserable walking through all these rocks and thrown about fish parts that seem to litter the place, the smell was god awful, and to top it all off? It was HOT. Absolutely nothing like the stories she had been told her whole life though at the very least it did make her appreciate exactly how much work went into the daily care of her village.
It was only a few minutes of walking later that Lahlil could begin to see the horizon of the sea port town coming up. Her breath ragged from all the hiking tumbled out in a deep exhale while a weary smile spread across her lips, renewed energy light up her body like a blaze. Activating her Sakkuguan Lahlil scanned her surroundings under a crimson eye. If anyone had been following her up to thus point she would see their life force now. Thankfully the validated concerns were the those in her head that she was being paranoid, even so, checking their surroundings before proceeding seemed like a ninja thing to do and she was a ninja.. right?
Slender hands going through the signs of a ninjutsu with practiced motion, the bones and skin of her body began moving and shaping under her skin as if they held a mind of their own. Oh marbles this feels jut as uncomfortable as the last time.. stay calm Lahlil just think of the mission. In just a few moments her form was changed completely from the tiny young girl to a blonde man in about his early twenties or maybe teens. Kao Utsushi no Jutsu [ Face Copy Technique ] In truth Lahlil had no idea how old this form was as she only stole it from a random passerby on the trail not even a day ago which should suit her purposes just fine. With her eyes still active but now concealed under her ninjutsu Lahlil made her way off the beach and into the towns outer gates.

I didn't want to clutter up the questions and answers but thanks for taking on my mission! PS: am I going to have enough time to join the Uzu event?
As Lahim moved away from the beach into shore, a fellow approached him from behind. The man was taller, and his black hair reached his shoulders. He smiled as he eyed the boy like a wolf eyes a rabbit. "Hey they pretty boy. Any chance I can help you find what you're looking for?" The muscular man asked. He trailed behind him and kept the same pace that Lahim moved. So if the boy stopped moving, than so would he.
(Yes I saw the chance to make a pun on Lahil's name and I ran with it. Also I don't really know what you're looking for, so if it's a monster then feel free to say that your monster sense pings around him, and I had planned it that this guy could be a monster in disguise. If not, just let me know.)

tab Suddenly hearing a gruff voice sprung up from behind her cause Lahlil to nearly drop her heart in surprise. Hand clutching her now flatter chest she thankfully managed to stifle an eep. It would hardly be fitting for the character she was supposed to be playing to let out such a feminine response, or maybe that was what this man was looking for? Mustering up the composure of a real ninja, Lahlil spun round on her heel. A face masked with stern confidence that she imagined all men spoke with. "Not less yer the shipping master. I've must be on my way a fore all the work at the docks gets filled up." Feeling certain that she had successfully talked her way out of the situation Lahlil began to turn away only to be stopped by a hand on her shoulder. So massive was weight that even without trying she was nearly tipped over, instead she was gripped back around so that she was only inches from his chest which Lahlil only now noticed was practically completely exposed through his torn shirt. To say she was a little flustered was an understatement.
"Well now! It looks like you and me were destined to meet as it were!" A hearty laugh boomed across the beach while Lahlil was pulled under the strangers arm. Even though they both moved forward she was essentially being dragged by this point. Even more so with her being so close to him now she could catch the hints of a strong masculine scent rubbing off on her, and despite her appearance Lahlil's face was awash in every color of red by this point. She was certain that she would die from the embarrassment. Never before had she been this close to another person let alone a... a.. boy! So flabbergasted was she that she couldn't even form a response. Letting herself be dragged away by this stranger. "I'm Farce by the way. Shipping master and CAPTAIN of the Bonnie Red. Don't you let anyone tell you different." And jst like that Lahlil was swept away onto the town ahead.
It was sometime later when Lahlil and farce arrived in Harpenstrand, a docking town of apparent some renown as Farce had told her. It was the biggest collection of free folk on the coast. All manner of pirates, merchants, and youth hoping to make their name called it home. Though the size stood no where near that of her village. In fact from what Farce had spoken of there would hardly be anything of worth here other than the flagships of the trade princes, of which Farce had told Lahlil that he was one. It seemed that she had chosen her appearance well to have gotten so much information out of him. He had even offered a position as his personal cabin boy, of course she could barely stutter out an answer so Farce simply took that as a yes. "Soo these trade princes? You said the control most of the town?" Farce glanced over at Lahlil his hearty energy seemed to to fade the deeper they went into town. "Not most. All. Those are their ships down there." The beast of a man nodded towards three ships docked at the pier. Their titan size only could crush any other ship in the bay. I wonder how fast those things can even move? Not that it looks like it matters though. With how many cannons those things have they could blast any opposition out of the water. I'll need to put that down in my report."The red and gold one is the Queen's Remorse sailed by Lavana Heartfelled aka devil lips. The one with the blue and black sails is Krakken' grace. Belongs to a fellow by the name of Brecken, no one knows much bout him. Then finally is my sweet baby down at the end of the dock there. Listen though, I gotta be dealing with some business so it'll just be you for awhile got it? I expect ya to report to a man what called Jimbs understood?" Lahlil responded with a strict nod. "Oi, and be careful what you be saying around here. The people don't like being asked after got it?" Lahlil nodded once more. The thought hadn't even crossed her mind but it was paramount that she keep her mission a secret.
Relieved to be parting ways with Farce Lahlil booked it to the Goliath of a battleship and right up to the man who seemed to be barking orders at others to unload and load supplies. He looks like the best person to talk to about getting on that ship.. I just need to get into the captains quarters to find any as much information as I can before I head out. From what Farce was telling me these trade princes seemed to care for little outside of these small town politics and treasure, but if those schematics could be an asset to the village.."Excuse me sir! I'm uh.. well I met with Farce and I-" Lahlil was interrupted wit a loud bark. "Oi nay what's this then? You Farce's new twist? Cabin's through the first openin and on the left can't miss it it's the biggest room." A few snickers could be heard from the group of men as they looked Lahlil over. I guess this I'm not the first this their captain has taken an interest in. Taking her time to pass through however, Lahlil lingered on the just on the ships upper level. Unbeknownst to the man she had just been talking to Lahlil had been weaving a set of hand seals with her eyes that would allow her to read the thoughts of those she used it on. She would need to know where to find such blueprints after all no? Dokushinjutsu [ Eye Mind Reading ] With the information she needed in mind Lahlil stealthed her way through all the workers. It really wasn't that hard since most seemed to want to ignore her. Getting into the captains cabin Lahlil zeroed in on the bookcase. Taking the third book from the fifth row she removed a slip of papers from it's hollowed out contents. Everything needed for the report Lahlil quickly made her exit off of the ship and through past the workers who were still loading supplies. None asked questions and the their leader was missing. This is my chance! The adrenaline pumping through her Lahlil all but skipped through the town praying against all that she didn't run into Farce again. Is it weird that I feel kind of bad? He was so nice to me.. Biting her lip Lahlil pressed forward. Perhaps she could return here.. as her normal self.

Therion led Saiko to the land of eddies. He found a wooden house which was set up by the coast. The man led his former student into the house and closed the door behind him. "Mister Saiko, what do you know about a rogue organization named Kogarashi?" He asked softly. He wanted to start with a simple question before he allowed it to bleed into other conversations.
Saiko followed the man into the house, watching as the door closed behind him. The house almost looked as if it were made by the mokuton jutsu he knew. It was likely not the case but, wooden houses were practically all the same for Saiko; a source for his techniques. Saiko's head turned to face Therion as he was asking his question. "Kogarashi?" The man said, as he began to think. Saiko hadn't heard much about them other than they were apparently a rising problem for some villages. "A rogue shinobi group right? I don't know much about them admittedly." Saiko told the man as he found a seat and immediately sat down. He wasn't sure how long the conversation would last and they had already walked a long way so he may as well rest.
"They killed the Daiymo's son." He said bluntly. He wanted the words to have as sharp of an impact as he could. "In particular, a former Sunagakure ninja Taylor Childe is responsible for the death of the son. Apparently Kogarashi kidnapped the young boy, and murdered him as a sign of anarchic fury. Needless to say, the land of wind still has soldiers sent for war with Kogarashi, and the orders from the land of wind is to kill the boy Taylor on sight." He took a seat and moved to the kitchen of the house. "Of course, the boy is not actually dead." He said passively. "We may lack the united village of Sunagakure, but we're not idiots. It was a proxy who used the body swap method to alter his appearance permanently into the look of the boy. It was he who was kidnapped by Kogarashi. Therefore, the person that was killed was a decoy. Of course, the land of wind is still launching a fake retaliation strike to pretend like the attempt was successful." Therion waited now for the man to think about what he said. "Of course the main problem now is that where the son is actually still in the air."
Saiko didn't even try to act surprised as he heard that they killed the Daimyo's son. Perhaps the old him would actually react but, he had lived in the shinobi world for too long. People lived and died all the time especially during wars. "I see." Is all he would say as he listened to the man. 'Taylor? The kaguya kid? Nari's student? Is that where he ended up?' Saiko thought to himself as the name was brought up. Why would he do that? Again Saiko wasn't surprised that the boy wasn't dead. At least he would hope that those guarding him would be smart enough to make sure he didn't die. "So the Daiymo's son has been kidnapped by the korgarashi? I guess a good place to start would be Gimangakure. I know they have hosted a variety of rogue groups over the years. Unless you have other information you've with held." Saiko would say to the man. He was already trying to figure out where the boy would be at the time. He didn't know a lot but, what he did know is that if Taylor actually attempted this, Taylor would die by his hand.
"As I said, the son was safe from being kidnapped by Kogarashi. Unfortunately, that was not the only child snatching group as of late." Therion sighed. This part of the story was embarrassing. "I'm sure you recall VOID. They were Sunagakure's personal answer to Anbu, or Vortex of Uzushiogakure. After the collapse of Suna, VOID allegedly returned to the control of the wind Daiymo. However, the organization was split after the latest attack by Kogarashi. Half of them are willing to support the Wind Daiymo still. However, the other half wish to take over in order to restore Sunagakure. And the side which is loyal to the Daiymo is the one which currently holds onto the child." Therion crossed his arms. "I'm sure you are well aware of the strength of VOID. I cannot handle them on my own. I was going to request Vortex to assist, but now that I see you, I feel as though your status as a Suna ninja will cause them to balance."
Saiko nodded at the mention of the VOID. The man recalled wanting to become part of the mysterious group when he was a child. It wasn't surprising to him that there was some dissent in the VOID when the wind Daiymo took over. Saiko had to admit he likely wouldn't have served the Wind Daiymo either because he served the Kazekage. Unless Ayame wished to serve the Wind Daiymo in which case he would. "The VOID are strong shinobi each in their own rights depending on what their specialties are. I will not allow you to fight them alone, Sensei. I will help you restore order to Sunagakure so that our people may return there." The man would say, quite clearly ready to go at a moment's notice.
