Nicodemus did not know Spanish, so he could only tilt his had curiously at her grumbling, unable to understand her. He guessed, however, his comments had hit some sort of mark with her, and that she was frustrated with the truth of it. He couldn't do anything about it, but he did nuzzle her comfortingly.

"That sounds like a plan, then! This way we can be Sure No One Suspects!" He held on, GENTLY, as she moved, to make it easier on her, purring the whole time in what he hoped was an encouraging sort of way.

When they reached the fence, he had to control the urge to sigh, deeply, because while he couldn't go with her and he knew it, and he couldn't do much about his situation currently, and he knew THAT too...

It was still a lonely way to live and he had really liked being with his New Friend.

But when they got to the fence, he made sure he looked happy and brave, and gently hopped onto it, landing with delicacy and grace (at least in his mind) on the thin ledge. He turned to face her, a beaming smile on his kitty face. "Yes! I will text you when I get home, so you can contact ME at anytime! We can meet soon!" He gave her a warm tail flirt, and one last nuzzle, then hopped down into the bushes behind the fence, making it seem like he was heading to a nearby house. "Later!" He called back.

Nicodemus found a spot where he could see her leave, but she wouldn't see him, waited, patiently and quietly. Once she was out of sight, he began to head towards his current 'home'. When he was sure it had been long enough that she wouldn't think he had done it from a backyard at random, but short of enough to not seem like he had gone too far, he took a pause and sent her a text.



Then he headed for 'home', a wistful smile on his face.
