"Yeah.. Teaching my self," He was both bashful and proud at the same time if that was possible. A little color flushed his cheeks as Bheka was quite bashful. Out of no where something amazing was shared with him which had Bheka blinking at this female. Being the gem heralds apprentice was quite a special role that was committed to since cub hood. It was one of the highest honored roles in Bhekas mind. "Yo-you're the .. " He looked a little lost trying to gather his words, "W-what is it like? Do you have to study alot? I.. I have so many questions." He wanted to take the spot light off of him self to focus on her. Also , he was quite uncomfortable talking about himself. "..Oh yeah the ... Yeah the jewelry. You know with your knowledge we could maybe make some more meaningful jewelry... " He looked thoughtful. "I mean.. if you're willing to help.." Meztli had to smile as the jackal went ahead and splashed around the ocean water. There were sprays of glowing blue water here and there and she even got sprayed in a big way which had her giggling. Renshu's apology was met with a firm good spirited smile. "Oh don't worry about a thing. I don't feel bad from the splash," She held her smile in place, "I am charmed by your companion. What a free spirit and good heart she has." The lioness couldn't help but continue to watch the hyper pooch in the water. "How'd the two of you meet?"

Renshu gave a snort at those words, but he was smiling and shaking his head at the now doggy paddling jackal. "Free spirit is practically her middle name." He gave Meztli a look over to make sure that she really was okay, and then turned back to watch Mangguo.
"Oh, uh..." Man, he hasn't thought about that in a long time. "We met when I was still a cub." Ren laughed, "I came from a pretty... social pride, but I've never been the best at communicating." Even now, his voice was still quiet and soft. The male had never really fit in within the Tianxia, and most of his days were spent studying by himself.
"As you can probably guess, Mangguo is very good at forcing someone to, ah... play with her, and she viewed little quiet me as the perfect person to attach herself to." He smiled a bit wistfully, "We've been best friends since."
Mangguo wasn't paying attention to their conversation by this point. Instead, she was now trying to catch some of the little fish swimming in between the lights, made bright and visible against the glow. Did the lights make them taste different? Would the fish continue to glow outside of the water? She wanted to know!
Of course, she needed air, so she would only be underwater for a minute or two before popping back up with a deep gulp of air. There would be a brief second of taking in oxygen, and then the jackal would dive back down. She'd catch one of them yet, and then bring it back as a trophy.

Meztli listened to Renshu and felt a great deal of sympathy for him. Being one that wasn't always so social her self she understood that some times socializing could be a frustrating affair. However, she was not as uncomfortable with socializing as Renshu seemed to be. "The two of you complete each other," She offered, "One who is a daring and social an the other whos more balanced and thoughtful. Its a match made in the heavens." She wasn't sure if her words were too obvious an observation but maybe it was helpful to hear them. At least Meztli thought maybe they could be helpful. For a while, Meztli turned her attention back to Mangguo and her endeavors to play in the ocean. She wasn't putting two and two together that the jackal was trying to catch some fish from the glowing ocean but what ever she was doing it looked fun. Meztli was usually a more reserved lioness but she couldn't help but pad over and stomp her two front paws in the waves and watch the spiral of blue. "Renshu. You should try some." She grinned and beconed the lion over.

Huh, he'd never really thought of it like that. Meztli could be right, or at least, he was sure Mangguo would want to spin it like that now, he thought with a soft smile. When it came down to it though, he was glad that the little jackal had chosen to seek him out. It was nice having a familiar face.
Ren's ears perked up as Meztli made her way over to the water, and when she beckoned at him, he cast an uncertain look at it. He supposed that with everyone else doing it... there might not be any harm.
Of course, his jackal piped up at that point, having caught that part of their conversation. "Oooo, yeah, Ren! The water's great!" And any excuse to find more playmates was good in her books.
With a yip, Mangguo dove under the water and then popped back up next to Meztli's paws, "Let's play together! Who knows how long the water will stay like this."
Alright, well, there was nothing else for it. If this ended with all of them sick in bed, at least he wouldn't be able to catch it later? That wasn't... the best of consolations, he thought with a pause.
But now he had two pairs of eyes staring at him imploringly. With a sigh, he picked himself up and tentatively made his way over. He dipped a paw in, and when nothing else happened beyond the lights swirling around his paw, Ren stepped further into the water. He had to admit that it was fascinating to water. This was certainly a unique event and it would be a shame to miss it.
Mangguo zoomed forward at that point, twining herself with Ren's soaked legs and giggling as some of his fur stuck to her face. Yay, he was in the water with her now!
Little tail wagging and splashing in the water, the jackal looked pleadingly between the two lions. "Wanna catch some lights?"Alpaca Chobi We can end our part in it off with them going off to try and catch lights, if you'd like. ^ - ^

A familiar voice called out to her and a smile flashed on her face as she looked upon the pale male with cloud markings upon his feet. She had no idea that they were significant outside of their little home here so she always just thought of him as a unique being. "How are you today? I'm so happy that everyone is able to enjoy this lovely weather and the wonders of the beach." She said gazing out across the glittering sands and sparkling waters.

"I am doing well especially now that there is a friendly face," He admitted giving her a dorky smile before turning his attentions to the waters. "Its ... really interesting.. I don't think I've ever seen water do what this waters doing but ..." He tapped a clouded paw to the water adjudicating the effect. The blue sparkles burst alive for just a moment.

Blushing she waved a paw, "You act as though I'm the only one you know here." Giving a light laugh she realized then he might be serious about her being a friendly face, though he could be pulling her tail. Looking at the waters as he spoke about them she gave a nod of her head. "I can say I've never seen anything like that before either........ Care to check it out?" Sparking eyes turned to him hoping he'd want to check it out with her.

Flushing she gave his shoulder a shove. "You're going to make me blush IN FRONT of everyone." She hissed with a playful laugh as she moved closer to the glowing blue waters. It was truly a sight to see and she looked over towards him. "You did promise me dinner, perhaps we can go for a walk along the beach first?" A ladies choice sort of thing, perhaps work up an appetite.

"Like anyones paying attention," He laughed as his shoulder was shoved, "They're too preoccupied with the light in the water." He tapped his paw once more to the water to illustrate what he meant. Mostly because he was pretty intrigued himself by the phenomenon. "I did. And yes please. Lets walk together," Fanya couldn't help him self around Dior. He wanted her attention and right now he was getting it.

It was true, all eyes were turned to the glowing waters and she gave him a smirk. "That just means we could get into some mischief and no one would ever know." Winking she was just pulling his tail but either way she was curious to see where he went with it. Leading the way she moved down the beach away from the crowd of lions with him in toe.

Fanya would follow Dior where ever she was headed. While he had clouds on his paws it was more certain his head resided there.

"Of course I'm willing to help!"
She lost whatever grace she possessed in her excitement and almost bounced a little where she stood. This wasn't the time or place to discuss such ventures though! "We should meet." She started to ramble a way beneath her breath about this or that - mostly to do with gems of various colors.
"Meet me outside of the Gem Herald's den." She wasn't about to give him much time to say no, there was no way she was skipping out on such an opportunity. "You'll have to come fairly early, I tend to rise with the sun." She continued on and without meaning too had left it so that there wasn't a chance to respond at all.
"I'll see you then!"
Then she was off. The ideas were literally swamping her brain and she rushed to begin making notes as best she could. She considered seeking out a scribe to take part, make notes as she spoke out her ideas, but there wasn't much time - that and she needed the practice.

Bheka had no time to process exactly what was happening because by the time he realized he was meeting up for arts and crafts, the female was off. The gray male stared after her with a very confused but content look on his face. Sure, he'd meet her and he'd help her with some crafts. She had helped him with his shells after all. The two could make some really cool things together. It was far better than working in a vacuum. Bheka also headed off but in the opposite direction. Even more than before he was determined to find some more shells.
