__ Zhi took a deep breath and tried to concentrate before they departed. She didn't want these newly attained powers to run amok in the village. "Okay." She adjusted her mask once more then nodded, "Let's return." The mythical bluish glow gradually faded from all the flowers, shrubs and trees she'd made as they left the area. Zhi would take it easy on the way home until she felt more normal in her own skin again. To their surprise, several other VORTEX operatives met them along the way to inform them that they were being summoned by the newly appointed Uzukage, Chie Saegahara. Lately things were proving to be... intense- to put it simply. Rogue invaders in cahoots with local miscreants, Taylor's amnesia, her father's shenanigans, and now a change in village leadership all added up to a lot to be processed.

__ Once the Kogarashi ship docked in the major port Kagami disembarked and started walking toward the main road. Once she stepped onto the road in the Land of Eddies, she continued her course in the direction of Uzushiogakure. Each step exhausted her the closer she got to the village. It was as if the Whirlpool Village was sucking the life out of her already. The enchantress grabbed some cloth to drape over her head after tying her long azure locks. This would help to subtly conceal her identity in case the guards remembered her from last time.

__ Sandayu once again traversed the main roads touring the large island nation of Eddies. Awajishima took some getting used to. He was certain by this point that he was a mainlander at heart. As he reached the docks that could take him away to his next destination, the last known location of the migrant Iga clan, he was interrupted by a concerning familiar visage. "Ichiga..." Sandayu wasn't even inclined to activate his Rinnegan with this sibling's current state. "S-Sanda-k... kun... thank goodness." Ichiga, eldest brother of the Genburyuichirousuke siblings was left in a near-death state. He stumbled forward and fell onto his knees, prostrated before Sanda. "Arashi-gakure... everyone is... erggh!! Ghak!!!" The blood spewed from his mouth splashed over the ground. "Speak quicker." Sandayu was deciding whether or not it was worth saving this sibling. Ichiga was the reason the other five also got involved in his selfish rebellion from the clan. By default he was also the one most at fault for whatever he was trying to say about Arashigakure. For instance, he was to blame for Akigana's death by the hands of the Arashi shinobi. "The Iga... have been wiped out by Arashigakure. I-it's our fault- no, my fault. They found me while I was trying to flee h-here. In fact- hyek!?" A masked shinobi appeared standing atop of Ichiga's hunched body and swiftly drove a sword through the heart from above. He reached up and talked through some kind of radio communication device, "Target eliminated. Also, I've found the final target. Requesting reinforcements." Sandayu didn't even bat an eye when his eldest brother was murdered in front of him. The CORE operative pulled his blade from Ichiga's back, kicked the corpse over to the side and assumed a battle-ready stance. Shortly after, five others appeared and surrounded Sandayu too. This was when he activated his Rinnebyakugan. A violent battle ensued ending in the futile deaths of these Arashigakure shinobi." Sandayu infused a small seal on the back of his left hand with chakra to open a communication line directly with his father, but the moment he did the seal began to burn red then crumbled away from his skin like old ash. It was true. There was no other explanation otherwise. The last one to die would definitely be the Iga clan's leader, Jiroukotsu, in the event that another nation would attack their nomadic village like this. "I... failed." Sandayu stood alone amongst the corpses. Heavily restrained, tears rolled down his cheeks and he turned the focus of his omniscient gaze to the sky. "Peace is a lie, there is only passion..." The young man looked out toward the ocean once again. At first, his gaze leaned toward the Land of Floods. He continued to recite his mother's teachings as means to memorialize his fallen family, friends and comrades, "Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power." These precious lines were what guided he and his siblings on their parallel paths to hopeful greatness. "Through power, I gain victory." Sandayu turned his gaze elsewhere, toward a rumored land of heathens and miscreants that had recently been organized into a militarized force. As he sailed toward the horizon, he recited the final verse with newfound purpose and resolve, "Through victory, my chains are broken." Gimangakure was his next step toward claiming his vengeance.

Masato moved towards the edge of the island. He knew they would need to leave the safety of the land they hailed from. What a journey this had turned into. All the while they traveled, Masato would quietly exersize small feats in order to train Kurama's abilities through himself. First, the poke technique. A technique that focused his monsterous strength into a single finger jab. [Poke]
As they continued walking down the path, Masato would continue to train. He trained subtly, using short small actions to test the abilities. His next feat would be to test his speed. Using a Quick Rush, Masato would rapidly move with minimal effort, making unnaturally fast actions. This was the Quick Rush Technique. He had learned this skill. [ Quick Rush]
Continuing his subtle training he would learn another technique. The next technique would be different. He would learn how to exert chakra. This wasn't normal chakra. It was Demon chakra. Exerting it would blow foes back and keep them from advancing. Masato would release minute amounts of chakra as he thought of the ways to do this. His concentration made the technique work well. Masato continued to test his skills. His next attempted technique was to coat his hands in the chakra. He focused on his right hand. After focusing, he concentrated chakra into the palm. The concentration would allow chakra to coat the hand and create a claw around it. Masato would continue to experiment with his powers. There was an ability that he would learn that he would not use. Not yet. Not with his friends traveling with him. Masato felt that he could turn the chakra of the tailed fox into a poisonous mist. This poisonous mist would be spat at foes, rending the life from their bodies if not treated. Kaida covered her forehead with her open hand as she tried to view what lied in the distance. She had been adrift on the small boat she had aquired for five days now. It was nothing more than a small pontoon boat. She had not quite versed herself in Suiton so it was impossible for her to expedite the trip any more than she had. As the sun rose on her sixth day she would spot a shoreline in the distance. " Pleaaaaasseeeeee let that be the right place this time!" she groaned, having spent several trips to shores that were nothing more than wrong turns. Gimani would be extremely frustrated with the woman as she claimed to know the way every time they banked a wrong shore....
As the water of the shore lapped against the boat she would use her wind release to propel her to rest of the way to short without so much as a drop of water touching her. As she looked about she was slightly confused. " How.....do you read a map?" she asked herself, realizing she was helplessly lost as an independent woman. Gimani sighed, his tongue flickering out as he leap onto the map. His webbed toe would point towards the direction needed. She would begin walking unwittingly in the correct direction towards the aforementioned city.
__ When the ship finally docked Kagami disembarked with her two operatives. They headed to the main road to begin their travels. She needed to find the whereabouts of this Sakkakugan holder. She walked along the roads before approaching the Abandoned Mansion.

__ The Kogarashi ship discretely docked ashore of the Land of Eddies. Kagami and her agents, all disguised as Arashigakure operatives, arrived in the Land of Eddies roads. The Kogarashi Leader was covered head to toe in black covert ops garb with only an Arashi forehead protector to reveal a false identity. They watched the massive road systems with supply caravans and civilians walking along them. She knew from her scouts' reports that a massive military supply chain from Uzu was being transported along these roads at this very moment. "I need to cripple this supply chain by destroying these roads and there's only one way to do that." Kagami was out of sight and at a significant distance from the roads themselves. She donned her second stage chakra cloak. It was sea green with three manifested tails and a shell shape formed around the jinchuuriki. She then released a massive black beam of chakra. This was the legendary bijuudama that struck the roads and obliterated them. A massive smoldering crater was all that would remain from the sheer impact of energy. The Kogarashi agents watched in awe as they felt their bones shake from the might of the chakra cannon.
Kagami's chakra cloak then dissipated immediately after the tailed beast ball was deployed. "Now that their roads are obliterated they won't be making any vital deliveries for some time. Let's move inward and see if we can find any supply caravans that weren't destroyed by the impact." Kagami knew that even the bijuu ball's range had its limits on such a massive road system that linked a hidden village throughout its island. She did make certain that the heart of the road system was destroyed and that she was not seen in her transformed state. The group of Kogarashi agents in disguise followed her as they approached the remains of the inner road system that was not directly struck. A number of soldiers, as well as civilians, died in the initial blast which was terrible, but the cost of war. Had Chie not declared war so hastily then Kagami would not have had to resort to this measure to protect herself and her organization. They found a mass of dead soldiers and two who survived. "Unload this caravan and see if we can grab anything we can use." The cart was damaged, but mostly intact.
Kagami approached the two wounded men for interrogation with two agents in assistance. "You're both going to tell me what I need to know if you want quarter." The men winced at the cruel woman's words. "Why are you moving such massive military supplies?" She asked and they refused to talk so Kagami snapped her fingers. One agent picked one man up and began twisting his arm and dislocating it. Eventually, he exclaimed that they were delivering supplies for the war effort against Kogarashi. This much Kagami already suspected so she asked another question of him. "Are there any others supplies coming in behind you?" The Kogarashi leader in disguise asked both men. They were not responding so as to not give up their comrades so they continued torturing one of the men. He still would not talk so the man watching his friend being tortured in horror yelled out that someone named Commander Sato was behind them with ten soldiers and a massive caravan. That was all she needed to know so she commanded the man's neck to be snapped. "Patch this other guy up, he gets to deliver a message for us later." The agents then took him into custody for medical attention.
Once all of the useful supplies were offloaded the group proceeded further towards the village. It took no time to find Commander Sato and his group with their massive supply caravan. They were running toward the danger when they saw the massive explosion. They were shaken as they knew that it was an act of war. They would be surprised to see the Arashigakure headband on the group in front of them blocking their way. The men finally stopped as the disguised Kogarashi operatives ran towards them. To finish this massive mission they needed to assassinate the commander and his ten soldiers. All loose ends needed to be tied up before they could send their wounded messenger. The first soldier ran toward Kagami with a sword. He swung it and Kagami dodged it. She then forced her trident into his heart. He fell to the ground. Another soldier made an attempt on Kagami's life. He had a spear. Kagami countered his spear with her polearm before stabbing through his throat. He then fell to the ground and died. A third soldier fired an arrow at Kagami. She blocked the arrow with her trident. She then pierced the archer through the chest once she closed the gap. Her Kogarashi agents were fighting a variety of other enemies that were not anticipated. There were much more than ten in total. A fourth soldier attacked Kagami with a mace. She countered the attack expertly. She then stabbed him through the stomach. When she pulled the trident out his intestines fell out in turn. The fifth attacker lunged at Kagami with a sword. She parried his attack with her trident. Then she stabbed her in the chest. The Uzu soldier then collapsed to the ground bleeding out. Even for an experienced murderer like Kagami this much loss of life at her own hand was starting to take its toll on her emotionally. She stared at her wedding band and her commitment and continued to fight onward. The commander would be her final target as he was behind them all and had not been engaged yet. Kagami the warlord engaged a sixth operative. She stabbed them through the throat before they could attack her. They bled out. They eventually collapsed as she moved to the next combatant. The seventh attacker was foiled by Kagami. She easily pierced through his leg after dodging his attack. This immobilized the large man long enough. She then finished him off with a killing blow. An eighth man attacked her. She countered his attack as her Kogarashi operatives continued to cut down the waves of agents with several of her own people falling as well. At least they had the element of surprise. She then finished the eighth attacker off. Now two agents ran towards her in unison. She engaged both soldiers. It was a difficult fight. It was hard fighting them both at once. Eventually, she stuck one of the soldiers with her trident in his neck. When he collapsed she focused on the tenth attacker. She would make her tenth kill in no time. She simply stabbed him through the heart. Half of Kagami's own agents were now dead, but all soldiers except the commander were killed. Kagami ran forward to engage Commander Sato. He was an expert with his katana and parried her trident. Kagami had the advantage of reach with her polearm as they sparred. Eventually Kagami stabbed him through the chest as the rest of her agents closed in to help her slay the king of the whole military operation in the roads. Once they were victorious the disguised Kogarashi agents unloaded the massive caravan of its useful supplies to be taken back to the ship.
Kagami now waved the patched up wounded soldier from earlier. When he approached her she began to speak. "Find the Uzukage and tell her what you saw here today. Arashigakure operatives used a massive chakra cannon to destroy the central roads system and the military supply chain. We have also assassinated your commander and killed many soldiers and civilians along the roads. We're the initial force, soon a larger force of Arashi ninjas will be sent to claim this island for Shiro's great empire." The sole survivor of the massive assault on the roads then nodded and moved as quickly as he could toward the village gates. Kagami and her operatives immediately cleared out of the area to return to their ship.

__ Zhi took point as they navigated the area. She was wary of their surroundings as they neared the site of drastically ruined landscape. Bodies were scattered throughout and around the gigantic crater and the destroyed supply line certainly clued in the reason why. Zhi slowed from her running pace to approach one of the bodies. She knelt down beside the corpse and raised their head a little, "Wrath, look. Arashigakure headband..." She retracted her contact from the body and stood up again. Since they were sharing all of their senses, both could actively sense chakra in the area. They weren't any traces of life which she could detect, even given that she could also sense natural energy through her Kagura Shingan. The ruined central network of roads on Awajishima and the remnants of battle between those Arashigakure and their fellow Uzushiogakure ninja painted a concerning picture. "We should hurry to find those people and bring them home." Zhi dusted off her hands and picked up the pace again. This mission might've become a whole lot more complicated...

Obei arrived from the Kogarashi compound, holding the list of things to do in her hand which she had taken from a random passerby. The first of her tasks was to search around the land by one of these villages and simply observe. And so the aspiring rogue would keep to places where she would not be easily noticed, which was not many places. Instead, her eyes fell onto the few people travelling onto the road. The state of their luggage, the people themselves, and even how fast they walked.

As much as a towering seven foot woman could seem threatening, she continued to change her spots every now and again to avoid interest from any outside sources. An old man was trying to replace the wheel on his cart which had broken down. He was in pain and obviously quite frail. After a bit of hesitation, Obei came to his aid, lifting up the wheel so the wheel would go on nicely. While doing this, she would observe him. The way he thanked her was sincere, a down to earth person. Obei was supposed to be so intimidating but...what was this thing in his chest. It was a warmth in her right breast. Strange. Very strange.

After a solid hour or two from observing the surroundings of the land, she had come to a conclusion. A very nicely ordered and calm countryside. The roads here didn't appear to have many guarding forces or anything present. If something were to happen then she would have little trouble laying low. Not to say that she would ever do such a thing. After a soft hum to herself, she crossed off the task of her that was given to her.

The next task was finding a local man named Shinji, who had been lacking on his supplies being sent to the Institute. His usual hiding place was in an abandoned farm that was nearby. The giant's footsteps marched on wards with a blank expression on her face. The trip in all took half an hour of walking before she was there. Her entrance had gathered attention as was expected. A group of people came towards her branding weapons.

His eyes bulged from his head at the sight of the pale woman before him. "s**t! They're after me! Go! Kill her!" The group looked at her and advanced forward, the woman not moving as she tried the peaceful option again. "Shin-ji. You send more. Shi-puh-ments are lacki-" Suddenly a piercing pain hit her. One of the bastards had gotten the pre-emptive strike and swung his sword as her side. Her gauntlet fell to her wound, warm blood dripping from it. Her eyes focused on it before a second, just as a grin spread across her lips. "...Playtime."

Everything after that would be a mess of memories for the oni. She remembered lashing out against people. Screams, terror. Pleads to stop and that one person had died. Her vision cleared as she was panting, her clawed hand against the one known as Shinji. Feeling his shaking body against her wet claw. She could squeeze him, have his head burst from the pressure. "Shin-ji." she repeated. He whimpered as she raised him by the head to her height. "You send sup-plies to us. Send a lot. Say sorry to Us. No want I come back." With one last blow, she slammed him back down on the ground, planting her boot on his back when she was done. The carnage around her was like a butcher's shop. Some few bodies were bleeding as those that were still alive and conscious holding wounds or trying to wake fallen comrades. Obei would look down at herself. Red stains everywhere. Very dirty. She walked away from the farm, her foes cowering as she walked past, heading for the temple.
