If you ever wish to train with me, seek me out" With that concluded, when his wife offered to heal him he stood and approached her. He knew she was skilled enough to do much more than this, and so held no worries for his own safety "I'm expected to be Flashy. All eyes are on those who lead, especially the Ki-" He stopped himself. He had no right to call himself that anymore. What was the King of? A crater in what was now the Empire of Arashigakure? No. He had let himself slide back into old habits from the thrill of battle. He had to reclaim his land, his throne, to earn that title back.
Looking around the room, he made eye contact with everyone in his group "Tomorrow we return home. For the rest of the day, I intend to avail myself of this village's training centers." He pointed over to Jenna, his disciple. "You and Haji will be joining me. It's been too long since your last lesson. Go to this Village's temple and wait for me there" Shifting over to Vivian, he smriked "And maybe you can lend a hand as well"
Turning his attention back to Tsuki, he would motion to Aurelia "Would you mind taking her to see the street stalls? She's been dying to go shopping with you since we arrived. I'll meet up with you two in a bit"
Belamos had noticed Takumi being watched by Kenshin, but as always he had no fear. Takumi could handle himself well enough without Belamos having to keep an eye on him, nor defend him. They were very different people, and unlikely friends, but whenever they got together empires crumbled. Fire and Ice made dangerous foes and even more dangerous allies.

__ He looked Belamos when he responded to him. "Likewise." Kenshin stated flatly in response indicating that if Belamos wanted to train with him that he would be welcome to do so. He politely took his leave from the group after nodding to everyone, Belamos, Tsukina, Jenna, and Vivian. As he walked towards the exit of the magnificent academy he stopped to turn his head and look at Takumi. "Enjoying your visit? Doesn't look like you're training." Kenshin stated with suspicion as the man did not do much besides watching his and Belamos' spar and look around. "Be careful, people might think you're..." Officer Kosei stopped speaking momentarily before piercing into the man's eyes with his byakugan. "Up to something." The policeman spoke in such a way as to indicate that he would be keeping his powerful eyes on him. He decided to forgo the subtlety of his surveillance that he had previously consider in favor of intimidation. He then quickly turned his head back to the road away and marched out in a hurry. "I know he's got something to hide, but not for long." He thought with frustration because he had no clue what his plans were, but he had an instinct that they were nothing good. As a trained police officer, Kenshin knew how to trust his instincts. His figure then disappeared from sight as he headed towards the dojo.

Takumi watched with wonder. It was true, this was the first time he had seen Belamos' O-Agni technique himself. He knew he held far more power than he had personally witnessed but this was a new level. As the technique and the spar came to a close, Belamos clasped his forearm in passing. Takumi would nod, acknowledging the preludeing talk to come. Moving past, Belamos demeanor would change to that of a normal man. If Takumi had not witnessed the marvelous power just seconds ago he would have never assumed such a man resided inside his friend. With his wife and daughter at his side, he moved out of the area.
A peering, chilling feeling crept at the nape of Takumi's neck. His sleepy, unamused gaze would meet the piercing gaze of Kenshin. As the officer passed him on his way out of the academy he would exchange words. " Tsk, Tsk. Such great vision wasted on such a small mind." he said to himself as Kenshin exited. It was to be expected that he would have his suspicions about the refugees. Takumi would monopolize upon this, exploit it. It had been some time since he had operated within Kogarashi. It would be some time before it was united again. For now, Kosei had nothing to hold Takumi on. He would shrug off the encounter with a smug smile.
Takumi would use this time now that the rabble was out of the way to practice, almost just to spite Officer Kosei. He would take time to reflect upon his lightning jutsu. After reflecting upon it's properties he decided a method to cast it without self harm. Expanding from that he utilized the lightning element with his clone technique, making it even better. Continuing the training he would learn to manipulate lighting strings and small flickers of light. Small feats to be sure, but lightning was not his primary element so it did require more examination.

Continuing his efforts, Takumi would continue his training. He would first expand upon his ability to create raw lightning. The ability to target muscle groups and cause spasms and constricting muscles would be of use. An expansion of the lightning bolt technique. [1/7] Next he would expand upon his ability to manipulate fog and mist. Using electrical charges he would develop a method to use the mater particles to conduct his lightning chakra, making it impossible to miss. [2/7] Next he would develop his lightning chakra into sound waves. Utilizing it in the same breath, the lightning would infuse and cause anyone contacting the infused sound wave to suffer debilitating effects. [3/7] Next, Takumi would learn to surround himself in a lightning armor. This armor would both invigorate and strengthen him. With a great defensive boost, this armor would increase his physical prowess. Normally he would not rely on such physical abilities but after his battle with Lieutenant Skully, it wouldn't hurt to be more adept. [4/7] Following this, Takumi would work on a handful of the basics of the earth release. He was lucky to have such a variety of potential for elemental ninjutsu. He was almost as adept as his sister, Chie. [7/7]

Expanding his training into the elemental cross between water and wind, Takumi would push his training further. Now he would begin molding chakra to create ice bombs. After completing this he would create the ice dome technique. Continuing, he created the swallow snow storm technique, the white horned whale technique, Wolf Avalanche, Twin Black Dragon, Renga's ice creation, how to reinforce his creations and finally the demonic ice mirrors.

Returning to what he excelled at, Takumi would begin training his elemental ninjutsu once again. Takumi would begin reviewing his wind jutsu. First he would start with Atsugai, releasing a giant blast of air from his mouth. Next Mugen Sajin Daitoppa, Jousoukiryuu, and Otonashi Kaze. Doing these techniques would complete any desired Fuuton abilities for the time being and would move to the hospital to conduct research.

So, with all of that mastered, Jay was starting to feel a bit of the pressure piling on him to teach them something else that would be useful. He rubbed his chin, remembering what normal ninja students, which he never properly was, were expected to know coming out of the academy. "Ah! Ever wished you could be in two places at once?" he would smirk slowly performing a grouping of handseals in front of the class. In truth, he himself had never actually performed the basic clone technique, so learning it here on the fly was a bit of an exercise in improvisation for him. He closed his fingers on the final seal, and a poof of smoke surrounded him with a hyperrealistic clone of himself standing holding the same seal. "This is the Bunshin jutsu, a technique that molds your chakra into a visual representation of yourself. By technicality it's more of a genjutsu than a ninjutsu, but the process is still simple. While you call on your chakra, perform the handseals, which then molds the chakra inside you. Think of it as giving instructions to your inner power. From there you simply have to call it out. A lot of the time, ninja call out the name of a technique for more reason than just to be flashy." [Performance]

__ Kenshin returned to the academy and found a private room in seclusion from the others in the area. He wanted to learn some highly advanced ninjutsu techniques and maybe some genjutsu, although he despised the dishonorable illusory dark arts. Kenshin knew that he had become much stronger after the numerous missions he completed as well as the spar with Belamos. Now he would find some technique scrolls and begin.
He wanted to begin by learning the techniques he needed to know as an ANBU that were non-elemental. He read the respective technique descriptions carefully. Kenshin took time to meditate and practice performing the various techniques. After many hours of practice and training, he mastered the four techniques he set out to learn.

Now he wanted to practice his wind techniques, particularly the great vacuum techniques. These techniques would be incredibly deadly and useful at all ranges. He went to a safe area and read the techniques in detail. He then began practicing his breathing, meditating, and finally began performing the vacuum techniques. After a few hours, he managed to master the powerful techniques.
Now it was time for Kenshin to master the advanced lightning techniques. Lightning was always Kenshin's favorite element as it allowed him to smite the wicked. He wanted to learn the coveted lightning armor technique and the great chidori techniques. Kenshin felt the power flow through him as he practiced the numerous techniques. He read the techniques, meditated, and safely performed them.
As the lightning coursed through him during his lightning training, he felt the power of his chakra flow through him as well. The power of the elements of the storm smote the dummies before him with precision and masterful power. Kenshin knew that he had become strong, but this was a moment of pride. he continued to concentrate as he performed the techniques.
After he mastered the great Chidori he had to cease his power and concentrate. He then sat down and continued to concentrate on his energy harder. He knew that this concentration made him stronger. It gave him more chakra energy to use for techniques as well as stamina to move.
Kenshin was proud of his strong balance between chakra and stamina. He had high amounts of both pools of energy in order to mix his techniques together. He continued to concentrate and move his chakra around his body. Once he completed his meditation, he stood and felt stronger.

Shōsan would enter the Academy and look around. He'd look down and close his eyes as he slowly begin to smirk. He remembered his youthful days at the Otogakure Academy, where he slept and got kicked before battling Belamos to learning numerous Raiton and Katon jutsu. He inhaled and looked around at everyone training, leaning against the entrance wall with his arms crossed.
__ Kenshin completed his training for the day and felt very confident in his growth as a ninja and that today was a benchmark. He still had a lot of genjutsu to learn, but he neglected it for the time being. He learned a few techniques just for the purposes of interrogation and understanding genjutsu in case he would have to encounter it in a battle, but he despised the dishonorable practice. He stepped out of his private training room and walked towards the classroom where the Arashikage was located. He entered the room and walked straight towards the village leader. "Please excuse the interruption. I'd like to have a word with you in private as soon as possible." Kenshin's words were serious but polite. He did not want to alarm the man but realized that the way he said it might have alerted him. "It's not an emergency." Kenshin clarified in order to not give the wrong impression. The Jounin left the classroom and felt a pang of guilt for requesting to tear him away from his daughter and the students but there was a lot on Kenshin's mind and he was uncertain as to when he would get another chance to speak to the Arashikage when he was unoccupied from ruling the village.

Though he had honestly had no real issue with teaching students at all, already he had began to let his mind wander off. At the moment, he was reading over ninjutsu scrolls, two of them at once, looking for things that he could further outfit himself with before Jeon came back, likely to talk his ear off about things she herself. Studying ninjutsu was never the easiest thing in the world for Jay, but experience had finally leveled out his and Jeon's slight ineptitude from their lack of formalized training. As the leader of his nation, there were a few things he would want to know. The scrolls he had were not ordinary scrolls, in fact they were a special kind that only he had the authority to pass out. Jeon had forgone the ability to teach those skills to people because she would've armed the whole village, and she realized that was a problem. He distanced himself from the class, in an area farther away so that he could perform a technique that they would certainly end up distracted by. With the first of those techniques performed a localized dome of water appeared, far more condensed than it normally would have been, and following that it would transform into a much larger version with Jay in the center. He directed it out, and then lightning began to course through his body as he practiced some of the raiton he still needed to learn. It was nice being able to have some time in the academy to himself to teach them younglings how a leader does it, even if he would much rather they all stay to their own studies during class. Still, it was always nice to be able to show off and show out. After some good training, he crossed his legs in the center of the scorch marks he'd flung across the academy and watch his students while allowing his mind to remain cleared and his chakra flow to once more become freely flowing. It never ceased to amaze him just how in tuned he had become with his own chakra network over the years. The man was growing every day, and at times like this he was alwasy shook by his own progress. Hell, his sister often told him he should be more proud of himself, as she always had been as well, but for some reason he hadn't taken inventory until now, watching his daughter and her classmates growing as well. If he was going to lead an entire nation, he probably should allow more of his self confidence through, and that was part of why he was drawing out his latent chakra and stamina so much. A spark of lighting propelled from his shoulder. A tongue of flame licked at the air. Drops of water pooled under him then evaporated. He was by no means a shinobi of ninjutsu-specialty. Everyone knew the twins were brawlers. But he was still full to the brim with an intense power. It wasn't even just the natural energy he had as the head of the monkeys. He was just more powerful than he ever gave himself credit for, and that always showed forth in combat. He didn't lack for confidence, which he often did spend his times in meditation thinking on. No he was simply outwardly reserved, something he found was both gift and curse. Pressure exuded from his body, only within a few feet, and it was clear he was pulling from deep within. His power was affecting the very world around him. Reality was very much at the beck and call of shinobi, and it showed in the distortion of the air around the Arashikage. Jay turned to Kenshin when he asked to speak with him in private. His brow did immediately furrow, mind racing to so many possibilities so fast, but he was put at ease when he said that it was no emergency. He turned to the class teacher and gave her the ok to run HER classroom with an apology for having torn them away. To Yuno he kneeled and offered a Kiss to her forehead. "Hey Princess. I'm gonna head out. I will see you later. Don't give your teachers too much trouble, ok?" With that, he'd muss her hair a bit, then stand and turn to follow after Kenshin. Upon finding him, Jay would walk to him quickly. "What's on your mind Kenshin?" he'd ask the man directly.

__ Once he had stepped out of the classroom it was thankfully not long before he was joined by Jay. The expressionless eyes of a dormant byakugan stared into Jay's own. Kenshin had formulated what to say and planned the scenario in his head a few times before arriving, yet he hesitated. It took him a few moments before he was able to answer the man's question. "A direct question needs a direct answer." He thought before gulping and responding. "I want a bigger role in the village." He paused to allow that to sink in before continuing. "To be your and Lady Jeon's right hand, in other words." Kenshin desired to more more direct in his intentions because subtlety for the sake of expediency rang to him as dishonest. "I know that I've become stronger over the years and I can feel it even more now. I've also learned how to wield that power with integrity to lay righteous justice on the criminals in our midst." It took years of dedication and training to get him to this point. "I trained and worked with the KPD, fought alongside you in the war, helped lay the groundwork of order in Arashigakure, and I've dedicated my life to keep that order in this village." The road to this point was long and arduous and now he was on the precipice of his grandest goal. "Mark my words, I will cleanse all crime in this village or die in pursuit of it." He paused and glanced at a wall before refocusing. "But I need more social power, influence, and responsibility in order to reach the goal of creating a pure and lawful society. I know you and Lady Jeon have worked tirelessly to do the same through your own methods and I want to serve you both and this village to the best of my ability." The loyal man spoke earnestly as he allowed his heart of stone to tremble. "I need more, I need to prove my honor." He affirmed to himself. "I need an opportunity to show you that I've become strong." His smoldering stare intensified. "That's why I challenge you to a duel." Kenshin had thought at length about challenging a kage to an honor-bound spar but he felt confident that he was ready and would rather risk failure than wallow in cowardice. It was time for Kenshin to truly prove himself.
