It seemed that they had all made it, though Bernard was still wary of the room, and unable to keep his fur down, looking like a slow, waddling, large ball of fuzz as he made his way over to the only person that he recognized, Nix.
He couldn't find it in himself to say anything, lest the room start spinning again! And instead as soon as he was able to get to Nix, wrapped himself around one of the senshi's legs, shaking, wondering what the room was going to throw them next.

Nix looked down in surprise as a large wad of fuzz made its way to his feet, and he squatted down to pet Bernard gently. "That spinning looks like it really had it in for you, huh?" He shook his head. "Don't worry, we'll get out of this! I'll even carry you if I have to."
After a moment's consideration, he added with a wry smirk, "Though, uh, might be better if you walked...when you can."
Paracelsian shook his head. "No, sorry. If this is something on my end, I didn't get the memo, and neither did the other agents of Chaos here." When Nix mentioned that the event was "fun," he arched an eyebrow. "Fun...? I guess that's one way to look at it. I agree with not wanting to do it again, though. I've never been good with things that mess with my perception. For a moment, I didn't know where the floor was."
It seemed that Camelot wasn't very far at all, like Para, Nix, and him made a neat little triangle of folks. Paracelsian gave a salute that was intended as polite but might have come off as a bit joking. "There you are, Royal Knight. Not that I didn't know you were here, but seeing is believing, as they say." He sighed, glancing around the labyrinth in case something new, interesting, and dangerous decided to pop up in that moment. "From the looks of it, everyone is confused. It looks like we might be stuck playing this place's games for a little while, or until we get a clue." The only way to figure out what was up was to keep going. Masterminds had a tendency to show themselves sooner or later, or spit everyone out when they got bored. Right?

Chauvet Page HP: 48
Several things happened all at once. The room spun, as it had done so before, but Chauvet found herself jostled between two rival shaking panels, which made it feel like a new occurence. A voice shouted, and then the ground shook again, which made the ground...shake less. A child ran by and stuck out their tongue at Chauvet, which in retrospect was...probably deserved. But overall, it seemed like everyone else was making the journey without too much trouble, so Chauvet picked herself up and started the course again, hopping between the subdued bits of floor with a more studious eye.
It meant she was one of the last people to reach the other side, admittedly, but she wasn't going to bring up the whole 'nerd' comment if no one else was. "Okay cool, that's over," she sighed, dusting herself off. She scooted over towards the senshi bedecked with gold coins (Altais), grinning and a little awestruck.
"That was cool as s**t!" Chauvet exclaimed, hands on her cheeks. "How did you do that?"

Pach had company over all day so hadn't had a chance to post at all but wanted to make a small one, sob, I'm sorry
Having a dizzy, spinning head was not something Tantalite enjoyed in any form, with moving walls and whirling floors and all sorts of other nonsense. Still, she regarded all of those outside of the Negaverse alignment with a certain suspicion. Still, the room had been crossed and now they were likely doomed to find some other nonsense after all of that they'd already found.
Pfft.
At the very least, she wasn't going to say this had been the fault of anybody here...yet.

You managed to finish the strange task foisted upon you and, despite some of you being crispier than you might like. Upon completion of your task to something’s satisfaction, the door leading into the next room starts to rise. Before you stands a huge, incredibly wide staircase. It seemed to ascend for as far as they eye can see. Made of beige stone and criss-crossed with the same pulsing black circuit pattern you’re already accustomed to, it seems your first objective in this new area… is to climb. (You didn’t skip leg day, did you?)
Upon reaching the top, another large black door awaits you, rising as the first of your group nears it. You find yourself in another large, rectangular room, much like the first. Here, however, that mechanical humming sound seems much louder than you remember.
Once all of your group is in the room, the door SLAMS closed behind you, and a loud, monotonous voice booms through the room.
[[ANALYZING…]]
In the center of the ceiling is a square-shaped hole, 30 feet in the air. This room has no other exits you can see, save for two small holes at the base of the walls on your left and right. They look like squat, but larger, mouse holes. Perhaps a cat or smaller person could fit inside there? An electric forcefield seems to be protecting the hole in the ceiling, so cheeky birds can’t simply fly out of it!
[THE SECOND TASK]
You’re going to have to create your own human pyramid to make it to the top of this room! Whoever opts to go into the mouseholes will have access to some knobs and levers that could potentially drop the ceiling to assist the others!
[The Rules]
For those NOT in the mousehole: Roll one (1) d10 for each post and follow these prompts:
Roll 1-3: You’re not as strong as you think! Someone’s stepped on your face. sadTake 3 damage. Roll 4-7: You’re stronger than you think! Unfortunately, someone else in the chain has slipped and you’ve strained something. Take 1 damage. Roll 8-10: HULK SMASH LIFT PEOPLE EFFICIENTLY.
For those in the mousehole: Roll one (1) d10 for each post and follow these prompts:
Roll 1-3: All these levers and knobs make no earthly sense! ….maybe that’s the point? (Your roll does not count towards the total). Roll 4-7: You think you might have this pattern down. Hmm. (Add +2 to the room total) Roll 8-10: Bzz click click CLUNK. The ceiling is moving downward! (Add 10 to the room total!)
[Special Rules!]
Only TWO characters can go in the mouseholes! You can roll every half hour!
[Your goal is to reach a total of 100 for the group to escape into the next room.]
[The next step of the climb will begin in roughly 48 hours!]

Bernard going in the mousehole but barely fits!
Total: 6/100
Bernard gave a bit of a glare to Nix. He knew that Nix was only joking, but the situation was serious! Bernard was getting hungry(er)! "I would appreciate it if I could be carried when possible. This is no place for a guardian such as myself." Of course, it wan't really a place for anyone, but Bernard really wanted to get out of here. He sat in front of Nix, holding up his paws, showing that he wanted to be carried up the steps that had now formed. If it had been up to Bernard making it by himself, well, he would probably starve to death in the room they were just in.
He had settled quite comfortably in Nix's arms as they got to the top, and he let out a sigh, as though he had been the one walking and had now finally reached to top where he could rest for a bit. Unfortunately for him, that was not to be! as the door slammed shut right behind them as soon as they had all gone into the next room and some computer-voice turned on, telling them they were being 'analyzed'. Well, now Bernard knew they were in some sci-fi horror.
However, when the door had slammed shut, he had puffed up again and accidentally 'jumped' out of Nix's arms onto the floor, where he clung tightly to his leg. It seemed however, that the room settled and that it wouldn't be spinning around, this time. Bernard relaxed a bit, letting go of Nix's leg. He looked around the room, and with his kitty-vision, spotted one of the holes in the wall.
He contemplated for a bit. If he went in one of the holes, which it seemed he barely fit in, it could mean certain death. But it seemed that whatever they were in, that it wanted to challenge them, and not kill them directly, so he would have to chance it. He looked up at Nix. "Nix, if I don't make it, making sure no other cat takes my favorite sunning spot under the tree in the park." He said, before waddling over to one of the holes, and using all of his strength to be able to fit into it. Luckily he was able to breath easily enough, but it was a tight fit, and he could only move forward now unless there was a place to turn sideways. He wandered for a bit, before coming upon a knob that he moved a bit, and thought something may have happened, but wasn't sure.
(quick, everyone get on the royal knight's shoulders)
HP: 80 - 3 = 77
Camelot was not too surprised when the scenery changed again, and they were looking at a new challenge. He did his best not to be surprised by anything, these days, as it often took too much time to be incredulous. Better to just accept what was happening for what it was and deal with it as best he was able.
Staring up, he frowned.
"Well, I suppose we'll have to try to reach up there," he said, scratching his head thoughtfully. He was a pretty strong guy, in relation to the others. He was a fourth rank, which came with a lot of perks. Strength was one of them. Maybe he could use that to their advantage.
"Anyone need a boost up? Maybe we can form some sort of chain or pile, to get up there. I can be a pretty sturdy base."
He said that, but as if in spite, his body rebelled against the idea. Just stooping down to get into a useful position to maybe hoist someone up made something he was not used to moving in his back feel like it tore in two.
"Eep," he managed softly, immediately doing his best to hide his pain and embarrassment as he stood there, ready and waiting for someone to try and climb onto his shoulders or back.
Nix did indeed relent and pick up the hefty cat. Thanks to Senshi powers, he didn't really have any trouble doing that, although he did still make a point of groaning softly as he did.
Upon arriving at the next spot, he scratched his head, letting Bernard down to look around as well. "Huh. That's...something," he commented, and looked up in the air, before returning his gaze back to Bernard. "Aww, you'll be fine! But I'll be sure to put a particularly prickly memorial on your spot if you die, I promise."
As the cat squeezed his way into the tight space, Nix came over and gave the cat's paw a gentle nudge when it was sticking out in just the wrong way, letting him fit through properly.
That out of the way, he turned around and looked at Camelot offering to lift people. Nix decided to try the obvious thing: Jump! Unfortunately, it seemed his froggy legs failed him. Something weird ensured he jumped like he did when powered down. Naturally, he didn't look even slightly pleased by that.
So he went over to the Knight and said, "Well, if you're offering, here, I'll hop up on you, and help people pile up, kay?"
His balance was good...the knights? Well, Nix thought he might have heard a bit of a pained groan there, but he couldn't be sure.

Arseno had followed everyone up the stairs, keeping quiet. If there was one thing that made him less chatty, it was when they were in a large group and in mortal danger. Who knew what could be lurking ahead, and he had to make sure that he was ready for well, anything that may pop out of them.
It wasn't long until they had reached the next room, but it did remind Arseno of why elevators existed. This one didn't seem... as dangerous. But as soon as the thought had crossed his mind, some computer voice came on and it seemed that it knew they were there. "Let's just hope it's not Glados." He muttered under his breath as he waited for their next task to come to light.
It wasn't long though as it seemed that they would have to reach one of the upper holes. Arseno really didn't think that they had enough people to reach the top and then be able to pull up each person one by one, but somehow they would have to. Already the fat guardian cat seemed to volunteer to go into one of the ground holes, and needed some help from the senshi who had carried him to finally get in, and the other was the chibi. Somehow she seemed to fit better than the cat.
He sighed, and joined the knight at the bottom. "I'll help with the bottom. Try not to throw out your back old man." He said, though his eyes showed that he was joking.
Stairs, stairs, stairs, stairs - and here she was wearing heels. Certainly, they didn't actually bother her, nor did she put on an image of being bothered by the long climb but Tantalite did find herself wishing that a certain Corrupt had been there to carry her up the stairs. Would he have?
And at the top of all of the stairs was yet another room. She had more or less realized where they were when she'd looked out the windows previously, but knowing how high up the monument had looked from the bottom before.....oh, this was going to be a long time. Still, it seemed as though they needed to get up to the next checkpoint - and there were those holes at the top - one of which a cat had been deposited in. De-paw-sitted. Oh, she was not going to admit that pun out loud.
But still, it seemed as though the highest energy reading in the room wanted to be on the bottom of the pyramid - something that delicate looking Tantalite could respect, but also didn't exactly trust.
"Up, then?" she relented, making her first step to join the growing pyramid...and taking a foot in the face.
Determined to be of some help, Camelot nodded his head to the person who offered to take him up on his attempt to be a step stool. Unfortunately for Nix, his back was not feeling very good already, and moving to pick up the Senshi did nothing to help it.
There was a very strange, squishy crack as Camelot bent, and an even stranger high pitched squeal from the man himself. He stood completely still, unable to move a muscle for a very long, awkward moment. He looked at Nix pitifully, shaking his head.
"Well, ah... m-maybe not just at this moment. Maybe some of the... others... are making... some progress, hm?"
He was doing his best not to let his voice crack as he tried to slowly straighten up. His body angrily ordered him not to move by sending another wave of pain through his back. He let his arms sag, dropping his head to his chest, half bent over and feeling very, very old.
Maybe he was the nerd, after all.

The staircase was something easy for him to ignore, flapping overhead of the group as they progressed forward. When the door slammed shut behind them he looked back quizzically. "Another riddle!" He cawed, all eight wings flapping with glee.
He hopped over, talons clink, clink, clinking against the ground before his beak began to peck at one of the holes in the walls as if he could make it big enough to fit him.
He wanted to see what was in it!
When that proved to be fruitless, feathers were spread and he launched himself in the air only to discover that the ceiling above was protected by something static and electric.
He returned the to the floor, effectively grounded as he watched the silly humans attempting to climb atop each other in an attempt to find the way to escape their puzzle room.
He watched, then grew bored, and randomly (liar he went for the sparkles) selected his target and took to the air again. Chauvet was lifted up by her shoulders and placed on the top of the pile of humans.
It seemed more effective, even if it set them off balance, in his opinion.

After Chauvet had been dropped off, Koschei circled the remaining gathered and tried to pick a new target for his pick and lifting services.
Maybe he would pick someone that was already progressing among the others...
He flew close to Tantalite, beak snapping at the back of her uniform as he intended to lift her only to receive a foot to the face when he miscalculated. Cawing indignantly, he retreated.
