Crocus didn't mind at all that Leto was holding on to him, it helped to keep them both steady at the rooms shifted. It was easy to tell that she was a bit annoying, or maybe worried was the better word, when he shocked himself. He wrote music for a living (partly), he really had no excuse for why he wasn't doing well in this particular challenge.
"Or some s**t, eh?" He replied with just a hint of his usual spunky attitude. But it seemed the silly task they had been assigned was completed, the door opened and a huge staircase was behind it. Not a problem, he'd been working out more lately it would be fine. He gave Leto a little squeeze on her shoulder. "I'll be fine, I'm tougher than I look with all these silly flowers in my hair." He still stuck close to her as the group climbed the stairs. Part of him was concerned that the people in the other groups might take an opportunity to attack in all the confusion. It would be a good opportunity for them to rid themselves of a Royal.
Once they were all inside the new room the door slammed shut behind them and Crocus drew closer to Leto as the voice boomed out and a blinding light filled his vision. Seriously, all of these lights couldn't be good for any of them. His eyes were so dried and pained at this point that his contacts were becoming irritating in their place.
The stars in his vision made it even harder for him to see in the now darkening room. It was shifting and turning and it definitely wasn't safe to just stand still. As he squinted into the darkness he thought he saw some sort of pattern on the floor, but when he blinked it was gone.
"Did you see that? There was something glowing on the floor..." He attempted a few moves in the direction he thought he saw and so far was safe from any shifting parts of the room. "Be careful with those fluffy wings..."
Tsih was one of the last people that made it through the door, she naturally tried to hover toward hew fellow Senshi, but she was honestly feeling a bit exhausted from the climb. She had been trying to improve recently, and she was used to being on her feet a lot. But stairs? Seriously, that was a royal pain in her butt. She'd have to consider work on her stamina more after this. Sure, she could clock someone with a good right hook, sweep them off their feet, and glide across rooftops, but that apparently wasn't good enough.
There wasn't any time to catch her breathe either. The doors slammed and she covered her ears when the booming voice called out. Which was a mistake, because it was quickly followed by a blinding light. Again with the damned blinding lights. Hadn't they had enough? The sudden change it light made it difficult to see in the now dim room, which was growing even darker. They'd have to get to the end before they were walking in b***h black with everything shifting around on them.
Was there a pattern to it? Not that she could tell, this would probably come down to luck in the end. No use just standing there, she took a leap, one that she felt was pretty solid. But her foot landed in just the wrong spot, something shifted underneath her and she felt her ankle twist. Instinctively she reach out for something to hold on to, so that she wouldn't fall. She felt the soft fabric of another Senshi and found herself clinging onto her.
"I'm so sorry...I just didn't want to fall and waste more time." It was going to be even harder here on out for her to get around this crazy, shifting room.
After it seems everyone was able to complete the notes a door opened. Kaileen breathed a sigh of relief. Maybe now we can go home?
Nope!! It lead to another room.she followed the others into the room. Seeing a big staircase that seems to go on and on. Kaileen made her way up the stairs with the others. She looked around for the cat to carry it if need be. Seeing that it already made it's way up ahead if her she putted a little step in her steps. Once up at the top she found herself in another room. A door slamming close behind her scared her. She started to feel dizzy.
Another door was in front of her but to reach it she would have to make it across the room. It didn't seem like an easy feat. The room started shaking and the floor started moving. Kaileen would have to jump from one section for the floor to another to get to the other side.

Well I guess that proves cats land on their feet.
She looked for an even floor time to jump to and took a big breath and jumped.
She landed on the time but she fell as she landed. Twisting her ankle.
Most of them seemed to be making decent progress at this point, a few people were getting tripped up. But, honestly, as a whole they weren't all that bad looking. He kept his eye on Leto, in case she needed any help navigating the maze with those huge wings. As pretty as they were, they certainly weren't practical in this situation. His vision was still swimming with dots and he kept squintly as he dodged left, right, and forward to avoid parts of the room crushing him. Man, this was seriously a very dangerous game.
Who or what was doing this to them? AS he took a moment to try to figure out where to head next, he thought that he saw that same pattern again, this time he pointed down toward it, but even as he blinked it was gone again. "I swear there's a glowing pattern we're supposed to follow." But it kept disappearing before he could follow it, plus as far as he could tell every part of the room moved, so how was there possibly a safe path for them all?
Lieutenant Strengite - 48HP Group Total: 69 -snickers-
Strengite's mental rambling and slow picks didn't seem to hinder the group as a whole because before she could decide on another crystalline tube to try they were apparently finished. How could you tell? Easy. that damn door that she tried to force open started to rise, almost mocking her as it rose into the stone for her lame attempt to open it. After shooting the inanimate object a glare and mentally cursing it the busty Lieutenant focused on what was hidden behind the door. Congratulations! They found a staircase! Yay... the sarcasm was practically dripping off of her as she stalked towards the opening. Aaaannnnnd the stairs were going up. Of course they were. Sigh
It looked like their only way out was to go up the stupidly wide staircase that didn't have a visible end. Oh goodie. Already mentally cursing the creator of this torture test Strengite started up the stairs with the rest of her group, letting quite a few of the others go first just in case the stairs were booby-trapped ala Indian Jones or something. It would be more surprising if they weren't because the beige stone stairs were crisscrossed by the same black circuit pattern of the walls, the pulsing really reminded her of electricity so what were the odds someone was going to get zapped just walking on them?
Apparently nil since everyone made it to the top without any injures besides sore calf muscles that is. At least she was getting a work out from this nonsense.
Another black door greeted their arrival at the top of the stairs, unlike it's brethren it didn't wait for someone to force it open it started to rise as soon as the stair leaders got close reveling yet another large rectangular room, damn near identical to the first one but this time the mechanical humming sound seemed much louder. Were they getting closer to whoever designed this trap?
Upon reaching the top, another large black door awaits you, rising as the first of your group nears it. You find yourself in another large, rectangular room, much like the first. Here, however, that mechanical humming sound seems much louder than you remember. The group moved into the space automatically, Strengite along with them. Once everyone had entered the new space the door slammed shut behind them and a loud, monotonous voice boomed through the room.

The ******** blindingly bright light from the ceiling flashed once, ruining her vision once more. When the Lieutenant's eyes cleared again, spots still dancing across her view joined by parts of the room itself. Apparently this particular floor would be even harder then 'Simon' was because the room itself started to break apart, rotating and shifting as she watched in fascinated horror. Their only way out was the door on the other side, the odds of getting through the ones they just came through was non-existent. The door on the other side at least seemed reachable, if sections of the floor, walls, and ceiling weren't moving up and down, side-to-side, and every which way like Tetris on crack that is. To make things even more challenging the lights were dimming the longer they all remained. Before long they would have to traverse this demented Tetris level in the dark. No, ********, thank you!
Not relishing scrambling over the ******** up game board like a drunken Frogger in the dark Strengite started into the moving maze of stupid. Squinting in the fading light, trying to determine her next move, she spotted what appeared to be a glowing pattern on the floor. Blinking in surprise and the light was gone. Was it just a trick of her eyes? Rubbing her aching eyes, that blinding flash earlier had ******** hurt, the Lieutenant tried to spot the glowing pattern once more. When it was apparent that it had just been a trick of her mind the pale haired officer moved on, literally and figuratively. The next step was waiting.

Kaileen rubbed her ankle. It hurted so much. She tried to stand and hop on it. She had to try again. She had to get out of this.
For all she knew it could be a test. A test to see if she would make a good scout. She was going to pass this test no matter what. She hunched down and counted to 10 then jumped to the next tile that she saw.
She made it across and landed perfectfully, broken ankle and all.
"I should rest a little before I try again."
She sat down and watch others make it across. She was really concerned about the cat. Poor little thing.
Was it normal for him to still be seeing spots still? It wouldn't help at all, but he still rubbed at his eyes, hoping to clear them away a bit. At least there was progress being made, the door wasn't that far away anymore. He needed to make a quick jump though and in the process the floor rose up, he ended up bashing his knee into it. The same one he had fractured in the Mirrorscape fighting Altea.
He winced at the pain and held in the long string of curse words that were swelling up in his head. Maybe if he could see properly this would be so damned hard. How many more rooms were there going to be? Was it ever going to end? Maybe the aim was to kill them all off slowly room to room.

Tsih was not having much luck in this room. While she was making pretty good progress, her ankle was not allowing her to land very easily. It was giving out on her with every skip and hop she made in an attempt to avoid the the every shifting room around her.
Just as she was about to make another left she felt a hand on her shoulder and looked over to see one of her fellow Senshi. Wow, she really could have at least tried introducing herself before all the crazy started to happen. More importantly though, he said he could see a path. With a quick glance back in front of her again she had no idea what he was talking about. Had he recognized some kind of pattern? Either way, here was someone offering her some help and admittedly she really needed that right now.
"Lead the way, I could really use the help right now. Thanks you." Hopefully in the next room she couldn't be such a clutz.
His hand and the gentle squeeze on her shoulder were almost foreign to her- she almost couldn't remember the last time a Court member showed her such affections (aside from her trio) and it was nice having someone reassure her for once. Reassured or not, however, it didn't stop her from jumping when the door slammed shut behind them after they had entered the new room. There was a bright blinding light, and then a loud daunting voice and quite frankly Leto was getting awfully tired of this Monument's s**t.
She rubbed at her eyes for a moment before taking a few steps forward in the room.
"What?," she asked Crocus when he mentioned seeing something on the floor. She turned to face him and in doing so she lost her footing and stumbled, a giant piece of the room pulled itself from its place and slammed into her side. Hissing through clenched teeth, Leto took a deep breath and tried desperately not to cry out at the crunching sound of wall on shoulder. Taking extra notice of her big dumb wings, she tried to pull them as close to her body as she could- though it wouldn't be the first time she's had them ripped from her back if it came down to it.
All she could do was follow Crocus and the pattern he insisted he saw glowing on the ground and hope that they would fare better-- which of course they didn't, as the floor rose and hit his knee. Leto cringed as if she could feel his pain and continued on at his side.
Hadaya was feeling pretty good about his progress! It seemed as though he was pretty good at this parkour thing, and was making a lot of good jumps. Maybe he was slower than everyone else, taking his time to think about his footing and where he was going to end up, but he was at least not falling or crashing face first into anything!
In fact, he was having a lot of fun.
Camelot was going to be SO proud of him, when they got out of this place and managed to meet up again. Maybe Camelot was having to do the same kind of stuff, and was doing WORSE, so Hadaya would be able to brag!
Though if his friend was hurt, he'd be very upset...
Hadaya looked around, trying to figure out how everyone else was doing. Really, it looked like just one more jump and he would be at the end! He grinned broadly, as much as a kitty was able to do so, and leaped with all his might to get to the door.
He landed less than gracefully, front feet first. They slipped out from under him and he slammed face first into the floor just in front of the door, but he had managed to get there without any actual harm from the room done to him. As used to running into things as he was, he took that for a 8 point landing and scrambled to his feet eagerly, hopping up and down on his paws
"Guys! Guys! Guys!" he mewed, running over to whoever was closest and rubbing their legs before running to the next person and doing the same. Why not celebrate such a great accomplishment? He was more than a little excited, as it was one of the first times he had ever tried to do something and managed it without a spectacular failure attached.

Your tasks have not been easy and the weight of stress and adrenaline (and some singed skin from “motivation”) has been heavy upon your shoulders. Your group’s tasks are complete, the black door previously barring your progress slides open with ease. This reveals another staircase, but much shorter this time, and at the top, the door is already open.
This new room contains eleven transparent tubes, the perfect size and shape to house each one of you individually. Six tubes line one wall, five on the other, with black panels beside them at eye level, blinking nonsensical shapes and symbols. The electrical wire patterns on the walls are pulsing much faster in this room, and the mechanical humming is louder than ever.
Once all twelve of you are in the room, the door SLAMS shut, effectively cutting you off. There is no other exit in this room.
In the center, pale blue electricity seems to be coalescing, static clinging in the air, sending your skin a-tingle and your hair floating. A booming mechanical voice rings out from the ceiling:

The electricity seems to have a mind of its own, twisting and contorting like a mass of writhing snakes. It splits into three identical forms, each the size of a small child. Each is adorned with one, two or three eyes, they stand before you at rigid attention before starting to sway back and forth. Their skin is luminous with white circuitry throughout.
Their monotonous, high-pitched voices call out to you.
[[CONTAINMENT UNITS EPSILON, ZETA AND NU, COMMENCING CONTAINMENT PROCEDURES. DO NOT RESIST. RESISTANCE WILL BE MET WITH FORCE.]]

[THE FINAL TASK]
Containment Units Epsilon, Zeta and Nu are attempting to subdue your group and place you each in the tubes you see on either side of you. You must fight to escape!
You may have sustained damage on the way to The Trio. You DO NOT heal any damage (unless you were with characters who have the ability to heal). Please keep track of your health totals for this battle!
[The Rules]
Generate your stage’s number bracket as listed above! (for example, Eternal Sailor XYZ generates a random number between 21 and 30 for each post because they are Stage 3!)
You may generate numbers THREE TIMES PER ROUND! If you’re busy and don’t have time to fill in a huge post to go with your numbers, that’s okay! Anything is better than nothing! Each round is when I’m able to check numbers - this will be 5AM PST, 12PM PST and 6PM PST. This fight will last roughly 48 hours, or until your Containment Unit is defeated.
[Special Rules!]
The Trio is technically 3 targets, but they have a shared HP pool. Do not worry about targeting them individually for your rolls! You may target individuals ICly if you like! 4th stage characters may use their royal ability ONCE during this combat. Both Leto and Camelot’s abilities reduce the amount of damage taken by their group by HALF for that round. (this damage reduction is for this event only - I know Leto’s ability is technically camouflage, but simplifying how it works makes things easier for the event! ICly, the Containment Unit would have a harder time detecting and attacking its intended target anyway.) Mauvians have unlimited kitty beams! You can ICly assume you’re using your most powerful attack. You do not have to count the number of times you’re technically able to use your magic. Characters with healing magic or abilities can opt to heal instead, generating their stage’s number bracket and using it on themselves or a teammate. You can only heal 3 times this combat. Make it count! If you are reduced to 0 HP, you will be contained!
