While the entire scene before them wasn't familiar in whole, there were bits of it that struck a chord with her. Of course Aue would already be at work. Of course Mab, Cornetite and Nitratine would still be standing around bickering like old hens about who would do what, if anything. She had no patience for that and no intention to just wait to be told what to do now that she and Lalande were on sight.
A quick assessment revealed two other female senshi, lower level and nearby. That's who she was going after-- she was pretty sure she could take at least one of them while Lala went after the other.
"Time to get to work. Cursa's Flight." Activating her magic, Cursa launched herself at the brunette with the thigh high boots, hoping to barrel into her and knock her off balance.
Upon releasing the energy stored for her attack, Cursa is granted an immediate speed boost. This boost allows her to put fast distance between herself and her opponent-- or a quick charge forward into her opponent (rush tackle).

Sailor Tarvos - Thisbe / Cursa / Lalande
Tarvos had been waiting for someone to explain to her what was going on and so far she wasn't getting any answers. At least she wasn't getting any good ones, just promises that things would be explained later and that wasn't alright with her.
Her distraction with Sumi and the blond girl almost cost her as well. The only thing that saved her from being completely steam rolled was years of combat training so she caught the edge of movement out of the corner of her eye.
"What the..." her arms snapped up reflexively and she manged to catch the corrupted senshi but she was pushed back a few feet in the process.
"End Game!" Without really thinking she spit out the first words that came to mind, not even sure what they were or what they meant.
Attack #1 - End Game Sailor Travos sends out a wave of mental energy at her enemies that twists their minds and leaves them conflicted. Duration: Instantaneous. Effects last for 25 seconds Effects: Enemies have their convictions rattled. There are no real lasting effects and the confusion wears off quickly. The intention is to give Travos time to flee or to give her allies time to make an attack against the enemy. Uses: 3

Corrupt Lalande - Thisbe / Tarvos / Cursa
Seeing Cursa take off he shook his head before following after. It seemed like she'd picked targets and at least, from the looks of things, they were ones they could handle. The two Cursa headed for were lower level senshi and at least those wouldn't put up too much of a fight.
And it was a fight he was pretty sure they could win.
Focusing on the blond senshi he paused, smirking, as he skidded to a hault. "Bone Crusher!"
Attack #1a - Bone Crusher [ Lalande calls out his attack and his target suddenly feels an immense and sharp pressure on one of their limbs as if the limb is trapped in the beak of a giant bird. The target will feel that if the pressure does not release their bones will soon be broken. Sensation disappears at the end of the duration.] Use: 3 times per battle, single target, sensation lasts 15 seconds
"Kaz, if you'll be so kind as to work with me I might let you have his starseed, provided we can't somehow persuade him to join us. All of that lovely black lace would look wonderful on our side." She flashed the bird-youma a grin before stepping forward, vanishing for a second into a teleport. She touched down just behind Arachne, dropping low to sweep a foot out at his ankles in an attempt to take the Eternal to the ground. She would enjoy nothing more than dealing with him quickly so that she could get back to helping Uvarovite with their initial prey.
Elsewhere on the field she could feel the shadows gathering, only briefly distracted by the sudden flash of light herself. She could use her other senses while her eyes readjusted, grateful that the flash hadn't gone off closer to her.

More corrupt senshi. Eta's heart ached at the thought of the lights that had been lost, she presumed due to negligence. How could they hope to stand up against a darkness when they knew so little about who they were and what they were supposed to be fighting for?
She would mourn them later. She would find a way to seek them out and try to draw them away from the darkness. Later For now she had to do something to try and help.
As a black and white flash moved quickly towards them, Eta bounded away from Thisbe and Tarvos, heading for the trio that consisted of the two Lieutenants and the high-collared corrupt senshi only to be stopped dead in her tracks by the sudden appearance of a massive male mauvian. She could tsk at the senshi all she wanted about being aware of their surroundings, but stars forbid she pay any mind to hers.
Eta's back arched as she took an uneasy step back, only just barely stopping herself from showing off fangs and making an incredibly unladylike sound. It was the smug look on his face that kept her from instantly reacting in a more violent manner-- like he knew what she'd been about to do, somehow.
Of course he did. As if he wouldn't be doing the same thing to protect his own...
"Stand aside."

Sailor Thisbe
Thisbe had known an attack was coming but hadn't expected it. She knew that she should brace herself, but not what for. Her sister had been standing across from her and suddenly the other senshi was knocked back by a blur of black and white with traces of pink. She had seconds to respond in time and those seconds found her crying out in pain instead of reacting.
The Senshi of Woe had little idea as to where the attack had come from. She'd only just barely processed the blur and then something was crunching down on her arm. The large youma was still chasing Corvus and Arsinoe-- could it be another like that? Only invisible?
No, she couldn't feel another youma and as far as she knew they lacked the ability to hide their auras. She could feel another senshi, however, looking up to meet his gaze from across the battlefield as the agony continued. "Cheap shot! How about you come over here and show me what you can really do, Red."

Sailor Cursa
The moment of impact wasn't as much of a disaster as Cursa thought it would be, although the whole thing still left her slightly rattled. More than that, she'd been caught off guard by the sudden grasp of the other young woman. That wasn't fair. They weren't playing a game of catch. That's not how it was supposed to work.
She heard the brunette utter two words that didn't make sense and almost immediately started to question herself. What was she doing here? Why had she thought it was a good idea to just charge into a situation? If she hurt herself in any way...
"No!" she shrieked, taking a wild swing at the other young woman with her hand curled into a fist. She couldn't risk being rattled, not when she still had so much to prove.

Sailor Arachne - Tourmaline / Kaz
Arachne was glad he had been keeping an eye on the General and the birdlike youma as they headed toward him. He wasn't familiar enough with the Officers but he knew one trick they had and when the General vanished from his sight he reacted, vaulting up so he'd at least be out of range of whatever she wanted to do.
"Come on Pinky, Have to try harder than that!" He was going to get himself in trouble for mouthing off but it usually worked. The angrier they were the more mistakes they made.

Kaz - Tourmaline / Arachne.
The Spider senshi's trick might have worked on Tourmaline but it didn't work on Kaz. Since he hadn't teleported he could keep an eye on the senshi. Clicking his tongue he crossed his arms, the feathers along them glowing before he flung the feathers toward the senshi.
His aim was a bit off, not quite able to keep up with the movement of the Senshi but one of the feathers slashed through the senshi's coat, raking across his thigh.
That would slow him down hopefully enough that Tourmaline would be able to catch him.

Corrupt Lalande
While he was glad his attack had caught the blond senshi off guard he wasn't sure exactly how he wanted to proceed. His attack might put her out of commission a bit, he knew the sensation from his attack could be disorienting enough to distract someone for a while. Even with that though he wasn't confident in his own hand-to-hand combat skills. All she would have to do is get one hit in just the right place and he was screwed. He really didn't want to have to have Tourmaline or Uvarovite help him if he got hurt.
They might not actually help.
The blond senshi was stronger as well and that was a bit of a worry. "How about no."

Tarvos wasn't sure what she'd done but for a moment the pony-tailed senshi wasn't paying attention. The distraction didn't last long, far less long than she'd have liked, but it was just long enough for her to get her feet back under her. She was a kickboxer, she was a god damn b***h, and she wasn't about to let some stupid girl run her over just because she wasn't paying attention. Her coach would have her head if she did that.
Not bothering to block the punch, convinced it wasn't going to be strong enough to hurt bad enough to stop her, she aimed a fist at the strange girls' stomach. Cursa's fist collided with her side and it did hurt but she'd taken worse.

Sumi was torn between helping Thisbe and helping Tarvos. One hand hand he wanted to help Tarvos because she was knew and didn't really know what she was doing. She would need help but ...
The new Senshi seemed to have a handle on things. She'd used her magic without having to be told and she was so far not letting the corrupt senshi push her around. Abby had mentioned that her sister was strong, worked out, maybe she'd be able to take care of herself.
Thisbe on the other hand was up against someone who could hurt her. He knew Thisbe's magic wasn't the best for offense and even though she was stronger if he could use magic that could hurt her ... He needed to help Thisbe.
Running over he paused behind her feet. "Distract him and I can help." He nudged her as he spoke.
Corvus side-stepped, nudging Arsinoe out ahead of her in the alley because she had a plan. It might not have been the best plan, or the brightest plan, bit it might buy them some more time to get away from the beast.
Warmth closed in on her and she thought for a moment it might have been the creature breathing down her neck, casting just the briefest glance back to catch a glimpse of golden feathers outstretched and shielding her retreat. The warmth she felt was from the Knight Celsus and his majestic summon, filling her with hope and a gentle reassurance.
It was going to be alright. There wasn't any way they weren't all going to walk away from this.
As Arsinoe sprung free from the alley ahead of her she spun on her heel, directing her second attack of the evening at the creature. "Violent Revenge!" If she was fortunate its master would be close enough for the attack to splinter off and effect him as well. If not?
If not she hoped that it was enough just dealing the blow to the monster.
Attack #1b - Violent Revenge! [Once activated a shadow rises up behind Sailor Corvus, looming and shifting until it takes the shape of wings spreading behind her. The shadow brings with it an imposing aura that spreads out to Corvus's attacker, leaving behind a feeling of cold dread as if divine vengeance is looming near.
This time vengeance closes in, bringing with it a forceful impact of negative energy. This 'punch' is the force of vengeance, returning the damage that was dealt to Corvus by her opponent (if two opponents are attacked the damage is halved between them).]
Duration: Activation requires one post from Corvus with the after effects felt in her opponent's next immediate post. After effects should fade following that. Avoidable: If the opponent can make it outside of the shadow's reach, yes, but Vengeance moves fast and most lower level opponents are unable to get out of range fast enough. AOE: Up to two opponents within 20ft radius per attack. Must be within 10ft of one another. Uses: 2 -- Does not have to be directed towards the same opponent each time, provided she has been attacked by more than one.

Arsinoe - Corvus / Uvarovite
The lantern senshi saw the Captain advancing on them and with Corvus nudge he skirted the edge of the building ducking in the direction the captain wasn't coming from. He wanted put as much distance between the two of them and the Officer and his monster as possible.
When he didn't hear footsteps behind him he turned around, cursing as he realized Corvus had stopped. "What are you doing!" They needed to move until they had more space. There was too little room between the monster and it's master to do anything useful.
God damn her.
Uvarovite - Corvus
The Pet was not concerned with anyone attacking it or what they could do. The creature had orders to bring the two senshi to it's Master and it would do so. The fact that they were running was just an annoyance that would soon end.
The Captain had picked up his pace, breaking into a run as he saw the senshi reach the mouth of the alley. He needed to cut them off as best he could and at least dispose of one of them just to get their numbers down. Tourmaline wanted to deal with Firefly so he would focus on the female senshi for now.
Uvarovite saw the shadow rear up around the darker senshi and his eyes narrowed at the ear piercing screech from his youma as whatever she did effected it. It couldn't have been strong enough though as the Pet didn't stop, the monsters skull crashing into whatever shimmery force was hovering in front of the senshi. It didn't seem to stop his Pet but it also hadn't seemed to injure the senshi either. That was not a good sign but the woman also had nowhere to go.
Ignoring the slight flare of pain from his connection with his Pet he caught up to the senshi, one hand coming out to grab the woman by the throat while she was distracted with his Pet. "I believe you have something I want." With a practice born of multiple starseed harvests he sank his hand into her chest looking for the crystal he knew would be inside.
The idiot trio were standing about, so Aue snapped at Mab and his two friends "Get your asses moving or I will have your star seeds on my desk!" It was no idle threat, either. Anything else Aue might have wanted to say was clipped short because some dorky looking knight in sparkles and white chucked a card at his feet Gambit style.
The magic pushed at him, shoving him back while Celsus summoned his magical mystery pet to go protect Princess Peach or whomever. It was enough to give the knight he knew time to pull his weapon and give the corrupt super of lemons a stern look and a verbal warning. "No." Aue stepped forward quickly, feinting a body blow to the right; instead he dropped down and cast his magic directly into Celsus' face from below. "Petal Storm!" It wouldn't hit the Cosmos knight, no...but that was okay.
He would deal with them both, in his own way.

Tiberius V. Eta From his vantage point, Tiberius had a great view of everything going on - from Sourpatch throwing his sparklejizz into the ginger knight's face, to his senshi kicking some butt, to his other senshi being charged at by a well-meaning but highly misguided Order Mauvian he'd never seen before. "Not on your life, sweetness. That one's mine. And so Tibs did the only thing any self-respecting Mauvian could do: he moved to intercept, moving quickly despite his size and apparent lazy nature.
"Sorry Dollface, can't do that. But I see you got an eye for quality." Tiberius fluffed his tail out, expression smug even though his posture was head down and shoulders up - ready for a fight. "Innit he gorgeous? One 'o mine. I call him 'Mab'..."
"Actually, sweetness...most of the senshi here are mine." He tilted his head, waiting for the implication to sink in, for the other Mauvian to realize that not only did he make corrupt senshi happen, he was ******** prolific about it - and there was nothing she could do to stop him. "How's about you stand down, before me an' my team wipe the floor with ya?"

Aue was a mean b*****d. Really, he was. "The two--oh wait, isn't that another Mauvian?" Eta was rushing for them like a tiny cat out of hell, but then Tiberius in all his massive glory ******** put himself between the other Mauvian and them. Which was kind of weird and endearing and also funny, because it meant they were about to have a literal catfight go down. "Oh, this could be fun."
"Darlings, why don't you start with the other puff ball, while Tiberius and I settle with this one?" Unless they all wanted to dogpile the little thing. Mauvians could be surprisingly hardy for their diminutive size!
Mab stepped forward, heels clicking. "Black is so my much more my color than white!" And then he cast in Eta's direction with a wink and a blown kiss, because why the ******** not.

Mystic Spindle Three (3) large-sized glowing spindles form from swirling green-and-black magic before flying at the enemy; the attack feels like a solid punch wherever it strikes and can potentially knock back the opponent.
Further damage as ‘flavor’ text is possible per player wishes: tearing, shredding, scarring, etc. - at worst it's like having a non-critical body part caught in an small explosion's shrapnel.
Per BSSM canon, this attack can be used two (2) times per battle

Petal Storm Aue summons a storm of lemon blossoms that burst apart, petals flying at the enemy to cut (a la lots of tiny paper cuts) and then dissolve into lemon juice, which stings like a biatch in the fresh petal-cuts. May also cause further topical damage/burning due to the citric acid involved. The burning/stinging effect lasts for 30 seconds and is most effective if it hits the victim's eyes. :>
Per BSSM canon, Aue can perform this attack 3x per battle.

General Tourmaline [Arachne & Kaz]
"It's not fun without a little cat and mouse, Red." Tourmaline flashed the senshi a broad grin that bordered on a touch of madness, green eyes gleaming and teeth bared. The general readied her claws as she lunged for the senshi again. This time it was less of a ploy to test him and more of a full on attack, more precise and focused than her last sweep had been.
His jibe seemed to have no affect when it came to egging her on. The senshi would have no way of knowing, but she'd traded worse insults on a regular basis with friends.
If she and Kaz could keep him separated from the others he should be easy pickings.

The punch hit and she doubled over, unable to properly prepare herself for the wave of nausea that followed. Fortunately the contents of her stomach were slim-- some water and the remnants of a snack. The intention had been for she and Otto to have dinner after rehearsal. So much for that.
She had to bounce back, though, or the senshi was going to thrash her. She couldn't afford that with recitals coming up and auditions for the next production coming soon. Cursa had to be on her best, and her best meant not taking any more of a beating.
While low, Cursa uttered the name of her attack once more, propelling herself shoulder-first into the other senshi's stomach.

Super Sailor Thisbe [Sumi & Lalande]
"Sumi, Arachne and I had a rough fight against a youma earlier. I'm not at one hundred percent," her voice dropped low enough that there was a chance the Mauvian wouldn't hear her over the rest of the fray, but it had to be said. There was no time to have briefed everyone on the events of earlier that evening, yet if she didn't at least try she risked serious injury coming to both of them.
"If you can distract him I might be able to get in close enough to touch him, otherwise it might just be you and your laser." Assuming the small Mauvian even knew how to fire it off. That was still a thing, right? Cats with lasers?
"Arrogant ******** p***k," Cornetite muttered beneath his breath as he called his weapon to hand, sorely tempted to chuck the glowing poi right at the Senshi of Lemons. The plastic orbs didn't have enough weight to them that he thought they would go far, but it might make him feel better in regards to the situation. Were Aue older he might remind him more of his ignorant fool of a brother.
Not that he thought Aue was that bad, he knew a thing or two certainly, but...
"I'm not fighting a ******** cat. It doesn't take two people to fight a cat. Nit, I'm sure you can handle this. Gonna partner up with Sourpatch to keep Knight-light over there from ******** blinding us all again." He hated the idea of leaving Nitratine and Mab to their own devices, feeling somehow responsible for each of them.
They would be fine. It wasn't like they weren't all holding their own. It was just a cat.
Instead of just standing around, Cornetite went for the Knight that Aue seemed to be dismissing, spinning the poi on his way over in an attempt to be a well-lit distraction of his own. At the last minute when it seemed as though the Cosmos Knight might pause for introductions he dropped the poi and threw a hard right hook.

Eta [Tiberius & Mab]
Corvus was in trouble. Eta could feel it and every bit of her being needed to be where her senshi was. It was a testament to her dedication to all of the players on the field that she didn't race back to the Senshi of Vengeance. Corvus would not want her to back down if backing down might mean harm coming to any of the others.
"You're a disgrace. How could you?" Eta snapped, lashing out at him verbally. She would have done more had it not been for the senshi's attack raining down at her. She sidestepped the first energy spike, just narrowly skittering away from the second and yowling as the third came down on the tip of her tail.
Animal instinct said that she should run.
Animal instinct said that she should hide.
Eta was no animal. Eta was a Mauvian and Mau faught.
Hissing, the silver tabby redirected all of the frustration from the pain at launching herself at the other Mau while ignoring the senshi, for the time being.

Eternal Sailor Corvus
Corvus let out a startled noise that was soon choked from her by the Captain's grip. Her face went pale as she felt his hand plunge into her chest. Years had passed since the last time an agent of the Negaverse had gotten close enough to her to make an attempt like this. Her mind had been in pieces, torn with grief and anger, and she'd nearly let the General...
This was different. This was another time. She was different person now. She had so much to live for. Her friends, her love, her home.
Arsinoe was nearby. If this Captain was able to remove her starseed her cousin would retrieve it-- provided the Captain didn't eat or destroy it first.
Celsus was nearby. He would not let anything happen to her. He would...
Corvus gasped as her hand came up, fingers clawing at the Captain's wrist through her gloves. He was hurting her, but there was also something else happening; something that Corvus could not place as being something that she was at all used to.
"It's--- It's not yours to take." The Senshi of Vengeance spoke slowly, each word that formed a bit louder than the last. A sensation that she could only describe as a feeling of light began to fill her from inside, growing and blooming until it crackled like lightning within her. The rumble of thunder that followed brought with it an external burst of energy as it crashed, throwing the Captain back away from her.
The owl was fluttering somewhere near Corvus, though Celsus couldn't see her from where he stood. He could feel the rush of adrenaline burning through his veins, could feel the mingled fear and the painstaking press of nerves and the fiery determination that lit up his veins like a brushfire.
He had given Aue a chance. The odds he would take it were, of course, slim, but he would not have been himself if Celsus had not given him a chance. His fingers curled protectively and securely around the whip in his hands, heart pounding.
"A shame," he said, and felt the magic pulse into his face.
It was a stinging, painful, needling sensation. Celsus staggered back with a gasp, shouting noises coming from all around him, yells and screams and the cry of splintered voices. He couldn't see; the stinging was in his eyes, painful and sharp, and he twisted around blindly, calling instinctively on the one thing he knew he could - and also the one thing he forgot he had, most of the time. It was an innate, inborn part of him after all these years and yet he rarely remembered that it existed.

Tendrils of soft green curled around his heart, his body. Keeping his eyes closed, Celsus swung out blindly, the whip skating through the air, aimed somewhere in the direction of where he had known the corrupted senshi had been standing. He had no knowledge of whether or not it would hit, but he wasn't about to let that stop him, Celsus bent low to add strength to the arc of his arm.
"I did ask politely, you know."

Arachne - Tourmaline & Kaz
The General was fast but Arachne was used to dodging Youma and they were more often than not quicker than the Officers. This one was good though. Better trained than most of them he'd come across so he was going to have to watch himself.
Her claws caught the edge of his coat, ripping into the fabric and lace as he darted back away from her and the creature with her. "Used to cat and mouse involving some of your kind's little pets. Not girls"
He landed on top of a low wall before calling out an attack he hadn't used before, one that he hoped would be useful in his situation, "Widow's Kiss!"
Attack #2 - Widow's Kiss [Arachne holds his hands out in front of him and the misty form of a spider appears in his hands. The spider drops from his hands and skurries across the battle field toward his enemies intent on sinking it's fangs into their flesh.. Enemies are poisoned by the spiders venom and suffer it's effects for one minute. ((Note: Arachne can only hit one target with the attack. The ethereal spider disappears once the attack has taken effect)
Duration:One minute. Effects slowly get worse off as the time lapses. Can only be done once per battle. Avoidable: Only if you can knock him out before the spider gets you (it disappears if he looses consciousness/stops concentrating). The spider is incorporeal. Downside: Arachne must concentrate to keep the spider on the battlefield. If he is knocked out or looses focus the spider vanishes and his attack is wasted Venom Effects:For the first few seconds enemies are unaware of the effects of the bite. The venom slowly drains enemies abilities, sapping their strength and magic energy, while under it's effects. Attacks slowly become harder to maintain or impossible, in the case of attacks that need large amounts of energy, until the venom renders the effected opponent useless magic wise. Note: The effects are not permanent and wear off over time. They retain enough to keep powered up but are generally out of power to do more than physical attacks. Stronger opponents (Eternals/Generals/Prince/ss'/GK/Q's) may still be able to get off weak attacks.The total effects last for about 5 minuets before the opponents powers begin to return

While Tourmaline headed for the Senshi he cut around to the side hoping to block off any path the red-head might try to use to escape. If they could pin him between themselves they would be far better off. Like Tourmaline wanted, keeping him from his friends would up their chances.
Kaz knew enough to know there were three strong Senshi and it was best to keep them separated.
Keep them away from each other.

Tarvos had hoped the punch to the stomach would drop the other girl but she obviously hadn't put enough force behind it. Her trainer would be livid with he for not following through and not making that strong enough to drop an opponent. She was just ... not going to mention this little incident.
She wasn't expecting the corrupted senshi to fight back though and was a bit surprised when she moved. She managed to turn enough to take the brunt of the hit not anywhere vital and grabbed the girl around the waist.
"Never hit someone like this when they still have arms. You're lucky I don't want brain on my shoes or your head would be in the sidewalk."

The kitten looked up at Thisbe while she spoke, slight frown on his face. If she wasn't good to go they might be in a bit of trouble. He wasn't exactly the best at fighting, despite Eta's attempts, and wasn't sure he could take on a corrupt senshi even if they were new.
If the Officers trained him better?

He might not actually hit the corrupt but as long as Thisbe could get close they could do something.

His attack hadn't done as much as he'd hoped but that probably had something to do with the fact that the girl was stronger than him. If she'd been doing this longer then she was also potentially used to weird magical attacks. Tourmaline had warned them that there would be senshi and knights who were used to the fight.
Those were the ones to watch out for.
"You and your cat just going to chit chat all night? Or are you going to try something blondie?"
He probably shouldn't be trying to taunt her but if he stood around doing nothing both Tourmaline and Uvarovite were likely to get mad at him. That wasn't something that he wanted to deal with.

Nitratine- - Cornetite & Eta
As Mab started on the small feline and Cornetite lost his damn mind and charged at the Knight Nitratine was left standing there wondering what the ******** had gotten into the heads of his friends. Yes this was their duty, job, whatever but really? Sure Mab actually had magic but he and Cornetite were left with nothing but their fists.
He was not made to get into fist fights.
"Jesus ******** christ." He groaned, "What the ******** do you think I'm going to do to a cat! Kick it?"
That seemed like a little much. He was a b***h but animal cruelty? Yea it was a Mau and not a normal cat but god. "What am I supposed to do, let it get sick eating my apple?"

Arsinoe - Corvus & Uvarovite
The world seemed to stop for a moment as he watched the Captain's hand sink into Corvus' chest. He'd expected the man to attack her, to sick his monster on her, anything but going directly for her Starseed. He felt his whole body go cold before everything snapped back into focus.
"CORVUS!!" He didn't even recognize his own voice as he screamed, ignoring everything else as he took off in her direction.
He couldn't let the Captain take her away. He couldn't lose her.

Uvarovite - Corvus & Arsinoe
The Captain's fingers reached the crystal, smirk on his lips, before the Eternal Senshi was able to get a few words choked out. He'd expected a struggle, most of them tried to put up a fight, but he didn't expect anything of it. He'd taken enough Starseeds that it was an almost easy process now.
But something else as happening.
His hand burned for a moment before a blinding light hit him and shoved him back away from the Senshi. He managed to keep his feet but just barely, knees bent and one hand on the ground as he tried to get his bearings back. His ears were ringing and his vision was still clouded as he felt more than saw his Pet wrap itself round him, shielding him from anything else. "Stupid b***h."

He saw the flash of light moments before he reached his cousin, one hand curling around Corvus' arm as the Captain was flung away from her. He could see the glowing marks under his fingers and knew instantly what had happened.
