Noemi was given a wide grin and a little bit of a squeeze in response; 'cause look at her, being all smart and resourceful. "Totally worth it, ya," especially since - given the energy with the group and a few that seemed to be in charge, they might be heading out soon. "We gotta take it on a spin together later though."
To Rhys, even with his grin still plastered on his face, he gave a shrug, "not the worst thing," there was a long list by now. And probably more he had never actually come home to. But it was something to deal with with this island, weird stuff and he could only give Seren an encouraging kind of smile as she addressed her doubts. It was a shame he couldn't hear her little bit of silver lining she was coming up with or he would have exclaimed something about how wonderful teamwork and being together in all this was.
But he couldn't, a shame really but nothing to be bothered about. "Aa, we should probably follow them, ya." Milo gave a nod of his head and gave a little nudge to Noemi - unless she wanted to get the car? Or would that be for escapes?

Noemi waved her hand, "Some of the life hunters made them the first week we were small! This one is one of the smaller ones, so I asked for it!" Though she paid up the nose for it, and once they were tall....she wouldn't need it anymore. She looked over at it fondly though.
"We should leave it here....if um...." She looked at the team leaders for the mission and then leaned over to the small group, "If...If the thing has knives....and stuff attached." Who attached knives to a roomba??
"Let's go!" She took Milo's hand shyly, and then reached for Seren's so no one go lost! "I can't wait...to be big again...." Because it was WHEN not IF.

"Silver linings, huh, babe?" he chuckled at the way Seren whispered the thought. He was sure they weren't the only ones relieved by the fact that they weren't the only ones that woke up about as tall as a salt shaker. He gave her shoulder a gently squeeze for an added bit of reassurance, though his eyes were on Milo as he shrugged.
"True," the brunette had to agree. Considering they woke up perfectly normal, other than being tiny-fied, it definitely could have been a lot worse. "Still sucks, but true. And we're all dealin' with it pretty okay so there's not a whole lot to complain about I guess."
His eyes then turned to Noemi and wondered quietly to himself what their asking price for it was, though again that thought went unsaid as they were finally told that they had to get moving. He let Seren go to make walking easier, then summoned Zephira so he had his weapon at the ready just in case. "Same," he replied, glancing again at Noemi. "I've already got a list of things I'd like to do first once we're back to normal. Haven't decided what's gonna win out, though."

Hika looked a little pale, but followed Zeke out the door, glad she had a ribbon to tie her hair back... She tended to wear her hair in a braid while sleeping, to keep it out of her face. She found herself wondering how much good her claws would do her, in a battle against a roomba that was probably taller than any of them. Well, maybe if she could get to one side, and under, she could do some damage to wheels or something. In the meantime, however, it was time to go. _____________________________________________________________ Seren pressed a kiss to Rhys' cheek and murmured back "Silver linings, for sure. Gotta find 'em where we can, it helps us keep going, right?" She looked back at her friends and grinned at them, despite the situation. She had her brother, her friends, and her wonderful boyfriend at her side. They could DO this, between the lot of them. "Not the worst. I can think of worse, but... mostly I'd rather not." She still had dreams about the gorramn Tree, and that was enough for her. "At least we're not tiny and stuck in eternal rain, though. THAT would be horrifying." She shuddered, and shook her head, glad that the weather had been generally nice during all of this, even if the stupid bugs and all had not been anything LIKE nice. "Oooo Life hunters made it? Super cool. I can't drive, so it wouldn't do me any good, but that is neat as heck!" She blinked when Noemi grabbed her hand, to keep them all together, and then took Rhys' free hand with hers... No point in not continuing the chain, right? "Alright! Let's move out. We got us a Roomba to take down."

They weren't afforded much time to catch their breath, but at least they'd have the long walk down the hall to recoup a bit from the climb up the stairs. Sighing softly, Liam offered Harper a reassuring smile before offering a hand back to her as he fell into step with the group. "How much longer do you think we'll be stuck like this?" He was trying to stay optimistic, but the days had begun to stack up, and he having a hard time keeping himself from dwelling on the possibility that this wasn't temporary. ----- "Sid!" The call came from further down the hall, a tall figure with dark hair moving quickly towards the group and stopping only as she caught the frenchman's arm to draw herself up short beside him. "Bon, I caught you before you got too far." She'd gotten a late start, and then agonized over whether or not she wanted to wear the only shoes she had that were the appropriate size at the moment--not the most comfortable heels by any means--or just go bare foot. Since they were inside, she'd decided against the possible twisted ankle. Looking past Sid's shoulder to the young man with pale hair walking beside him, Soleil smiled and extended a hand. "Bonjour, are you a friend of Sidney's?" Her other arm tightened on his as she asked it. "Je suis Soleil, c'est un plaisir de te rencontrer."

It was quiet in the hall, at least this far down. It seemed more or less deserted, but that was hardly surprising given the state the island was under at the moment. Even if there were hunters running around, the sound of their footsteps weren't likely to carry far. You didn't hear a mouse when it scurried past, after all. Zeke stuck to the front of the group. It wasn't an ideal position, but it was appropriate, given he'd been the one to arrange this little party. His weapon wasn't summoned yet, but he was ready to should anything threatening turn up. It was funny how many insects and rodents they had around here that he'd never noticed before now. Far, far in the distance there was a faint mechanical whirring. The soft thump of something knocking hap hazardously against a wall. Nothing they could see, but unmistakable all the same. Zeke stopped, holding a hand out to signal that the rest of them should stop as well, and then turned his head to listen more carefully. After a quiet moment he glanced back over his shoulder. "It's still heading away from us."

Milo couldn't say attaching knives to a roomba seemed like the oddest design he had ever seen in his life; he had watched very old episodes of Super Sentai after all, the shows with limited resources and possibly horrible budges which resulted in cups of ramen being the monster of the week. "Could have seemed like a good idea at the time, ya?" After all, there was a growing pest problem that he hadn't realized was a thing until he was two inches tall.
Moving along with the group, hand in hand with Noemi (he gave it squeeze), Milo couldn't say much else either. Plans when they were larger, well Noemi seemed to be hinting at something that could be done but it was still early to tell really. Besides, there wasn't much else time to dwell as they came to a halt. There was progress and enemy cited.
"Might not be cool and all, but should we go at it while its not headin' our way?" He suggested with a shrug.

The call of his companions name brought a pause to step, turn of head and several blinks. Another friend? This was just ridiculous, how in world had Sidney made so many friends? A wide birthing grin plastered across face as Artemis watched the interaction closely. When finally noticed a crooked grin was passed to the female, giving away a wild amount of amusement. This island was considerably more interesting than he had given it credit for. A hand extended and on cue Artemis clapped both hands around the woman’s and gave a gleeful shake. “Hello, We are more than just friends!” He had meant to add that they were also roommates, as well as separated friends from a long time ago and well just a bunch of other things but his attention was captured by a pause in the bodies ahead. Still holding her hand he peered forward, half catching the French she spoke as he tried to listen to what the leader of this little band of misfits was saying. The shame was he couldn’t hear a word. Coming back to present conversation he nodded slowly and offered a friendly reply of, “I have no idea what you just said but it was lovely! My name is Artemis but please call me Tweet, its a pleasure to meet you. But I think we should catch up!” Eagerly he looked between the pair before releasing the captured hand if she had not already pulled free. “Forward Sidney and company!.” He grinned smugly for usage of full name to his friend before bouncing a few steps ahead. Far to eager to see a death machine and figure out how he could help. Because what was the chance this would ever happen again?!
