Passing by various animals he took a moment to watch two of the dogs they had run by. One was a smaller dog, meant to do as some cats did - rat catch. If they got mice or rats the dogs were meant to scare them off. The larger dog use used in an act, of course. It was with his eyes on them that something, a memory? drifted up to the back of his mind. It wasn't something he could grasp but it was a feeling..a sound..an emotion. He couldn't grasp at the words but the voice he could. It wasn't anyone here and yet the voice was familiar, he was sure of that. It was one which even now had him smiling as he stood there, seemingly statue like, but he couldn't place the voice at all. No face came to mind and no name went with it. Running with dogs...that seemed familiar, like something he'd done before. He wanted to run with the two dogs but they were wrong feeling.
It didn't make sense to him and it left him unsettled...wanting whatever had surfaced, and vanished rather quickly, he wanted to figure it out but he couldn't. Something felt wrong about here, even as he hurried back to his shared tent to sleep. Something felt wrong...like what he'd felt was right - was needed. Why did laying down in his bed, alone, feel so lonely and wrong tonight? And why were people still milling about, annoying him, as they made noise. Never would this normally bother him, it was all normal, it was part of living in the circus. Yet right now it bothered him and seemed all wrong, like he was in a place that wasn't his. Maybe it was just stress from the show. (Someone pls drag his a** from his tent...for anything - pls.)
