((You know...this whole time I've been thinking about the song 'My Immortal' and I just realized both the title and the lyrics fit this rp quite accurately at the moment... O.o))
"I know. All immortals know regret is useless and very few of them have ever really experienced it." He hovered about her, half feeling the urge to hellp her put away books, but finding he had no idea where she took them from and where they went on the shelf, so he settled on handing a few to her. "If I can prevent someone from regretting something in the future, though, I'd like to try."
"If you ever decide you're going to try and become immortal, Minerva, just remember you won't be able to move on. If an immortal regrets, it'll never leave them." He frowned as she ruffled his hair, feeling as if he wasn't being taken seriously. But then, his favorite past time was to make other people feel that way. Feeling confused, he followed Minerva to the first shelf.
He was silent at her proclaimation. "You sure you want to make that decision?" Puck asked quietly, looking a little upset. "I can't help feeling guilty if that decision involves me too, somehow..."

((*plays it* oooh... it fits... I've been listening to Enigma - Gravity Of Love, for... the past three days on repeat... a little of it would fit. XD It mentions a mirror, lmao. Lyrics)) Minerva smiled in thanks as Puck handed her some books, "Well, I'm not going to make the decision now, I have to think about it a lot first. If I want to, then I'll read up on it alot, talk to Rogue and get her opinions on it, and such." She paused as she looked up at Puck "However, the decision does involve you, but it's not in a bad way. You don't have to feel guilty, considering your side of this conversation."
She stood up and brushed off invisable dust from her dress "You're telling me not to, pretty much, trying to protect me. And for that I'm greatful, and I'll definitely take everything into consideration... but if I do decide to... it's not going to be now, when I'm a child with so many restrictions."
Minerva grinned and held out both of her hands for Puck to take once she was finished with the books "Rogue told me one of the rooms in this castle had fun stuff to do, so I bet we can find it." She nodded "So no more sad talk, let's go play."

Puck nodded slightly. "Maybe so, but I don't want it to be because of me. I'm not worth it, really. I hope you'll learn that for yourself, if you won't believe me. Perhaps when you're older then you'll be smart enough to realize that."
Hesitantly, Puck took Minerva's outstretched hands. "Alright...that sounds like a good idea right now." Suddenly he broke into his familiar, mischevious grin.

Minerva rolled her eyes "you say that like I'm worth anything special, I'm the one who's not worth anything, so we're even. I don't need to be older or smarter than I am right now, to know that everyone's life is worth something, even if they don't think it is." She leaned foreward and pecked Puck's cheek, "There, a kiss to make you feel better!"
As she pulled back she took a step back and pulled on Puck's hands, to the edge of the bookcase "alrighty then, so where do we start?"

"That's where you're wrong. Not everyone is worth something. Immortals are just useless. You are special, with your magic talents and your craving for knowledge. Those will definately get you somewhere." he argued.
Before he could say more, Minerva kissed him slightly on the cheek, causing him to stiffen and wince. "That doesn't make me feel better, it's ten times worse!" Puck growled. "Girls have silly ideas...are we going or not?!"
He grabbed her by her waist off the top of the shelf and toward the library door. "We're getting out of here."

"Well, I guess I'm glad you think that, even if I don't." She said with a shrug, "immortals have a longer time to learn all the knowledge and to perfect techniques... but that's just one side of the arguement, I guess."
Minerva laughed "We may have silly ideas, but so do little boys, immortal or non., So where are we going?"

"Just because we may have more knowledge doesn't mean we have the motivation to do anything with it," he answered. "That's why I say they're useless. I only use my superior intellect to have fun." He grinned proudly and struck a pose.
"I told you, I'm not a little boy! Would you stop calling me that? And I have no idea where we're going. It was you who said you knew. Think you could at least give me a few details?" He pushed past the exit door with little less difficulty this time.

"Well, you look like a boy, so you're going to be called a boy. How old are you then, non-little boy? Even if you're not a child in human years, then you will be in immortal-ness years, or vice-versa." she tilted her head "I think... I just confused myself."
"umm...umm... Rogue mentioned it being near the back of the castle, you know how to get there? I'm not sure what's in the room though, just that it should be fun." She looked around the hallways "Well... I don't know how to get there, so hopefully you do, or else we're gonna get looOost." She said the last word in a sing-songy voice.

"Boys don't have ears like these! Or hair this long, or this color. And I doubt most of them can fly." He added. "And how do you expect me to know how old I am?! I lost count a long time ago...and just because the mirror turned me into a child doesn't mean I am one!"
He wondered why girls could never learn to be quiet. They wouldn't stop arguing a point to save their lives. Even he, Puck, knew when to hold his tounge. And now was not one of those times. "What?! The moment that door closed behind us we became lost! Now we have no way of knowing where we came from, and where we haven't been!"
He grumbled to himself, uncerimoniously setting Minerva down. "I'm getting tired of having to carry you everywhere. And I'm sure we're going to be traveling for a very long time now...wait! Unless..." he paused, a small, self-satisfied look creeping across his feaures. "Quick! Find a window. The best one would be a tower window."

Minerva grinned "actually, some do have that hair colour, but fine, I'll drop it... a tower window, let's try checking a tower then, hm?"
She took a few steps towards the wall and closest window "well here's one, and we could use it to fine a tower, but you'd have to carry me, and you don't like that." She said teasingly.
"It's not a big deal, if we wanted to get out of this maze castle, we just have to jump out a window, then we'll know exactly where we are again." She said nodding, confident in her logic.
((I drewed a picture, *nods* Of an older Minerva, and it's not crap. *cheers* I can't wait till Tues. so I can scan it, *gets all giddy*))

OMG, I found another song that fits them perfectly...watch this! ))"Not naturally," Puck insisted, examining a lock of his hair the color of moonlight. "There should be a door with spiral stairs leading to the tower. They always have windows, so we should be able to see what part of the castle we are in from there. Only problem is finding one."
He marveled at her sharp eye-sight as she spotted a window he wasn't sure he had noticed before. "I never said I didn't like it; I only said it was getting tiring. Well, alright, in my case, more like boring. It's getting old, and I hadn't intended to make a habit of it. But I suppose there's really no other way, unless you'd prefer to poof yourself there..."
He sighed and murmured, "These windows don't open. Most of these are stained-glass, so they'll do us no good. It's the bedroom and tower room windows that open, and they only open from the inside, so if we fly out and they close, we're locked out."

((homg, that's so perfect! *goes to download song* <3... man... as soon as we both go offline, I'm going to watch that movie, I haven't seen it in ages, it's collecting dust on my bookshelf. T.T))
Minerva shook her head "Well you shouldn't have to, sorry I'm slow on finding out how to fly on my own." she said before she ran a few steps down the hallway "Let's go then, the tower should be on an end or corner, and the doors are always different looking, it's like... the law." She said as she spun around. "And I can't teleport or 'poof' myself anywhere if I've never been there before or if I can't see it, I could end up in a wall or something, and... then I'd die, and that wouldn't be fun."
She spoke briefly before a grin appeared on her face "insert adventure number two... where do we start?"
((Edit: Oh man, I just finished the movie... I don't like it, cause I don't want Peter to leave, or for Wendy to leave, doesn't matter, goes both ways. >.>
Totally not fair dude, XD. And I've officially fallen in love with Jeremy Sumpter's boyish grin again, lol. XD))

He waved a hand carelessly at her over his shoulder, while searching for the tower stairway. "It's not your fault. I knew flying would be difficult for any mortal, but you've come farther than I suspected anyone could in such a short time."
"Hmm?" He drifted after her as she ran down the steps. "Oh...right...actually, come to think of it, I'm pretty sure it was in a corner...sort of...but I'm not sure the door was different. Could have been, but I didn't stop to examine it properly." Puck said, shrugging. "That makes sense, about your teleporting. But really, how do you know if dying isn't any fun, hmm? Ever tried it before?" he asked mockingly, with a devious grin.
"Adventure two? Ah, I see...that corridor looks promising, don't you think? I'd say there should be a tower west of here...perhaps in the castle wing..."

Minerva beamed at Pucks words "farther, really? That's awesome." She spoke as she continued running down the stairs.
"Maybe, maybe. But on the other hand, it might be the most boring thing in existance! I'll take my chances here with you, than dying." She said before turning to Puck and returning the grin.
She quickly turned back around and started running down the indictated corridor, "well let's go then Puck, don't wanna get left behiiiind!" She called back in a teasing voice as she reached a door and used her wand to make it open, just like last time. She then ran through the now-open door with a giggle.((ack, totally forgot. Minerva!))

(( eek Oh, wow that's awesome! ^^ Is that how you imagine her as a teen? Reminds me of 'Wicked' with her pose. xd ))
Puck nodded vaguely, distracted.
"Existance?" he repeated. "How do you even know it exists? It could merely be a way into another world." Puck smirked as he continued to search the corridors. "If you say so..."
"Hey! That's cheating!" He protested, echoin through the stone walls as he swept after her. At the open door, he came to an abrupt halt and backed off. "Whoa! You can't just go around opening random doors, you know! You have no idea what's behind there!" The little witch had already disappeared behind it, however, so Puck had no choice but to take a deep breath and follow, determined to go in, grab her, then get out.
"What is wrong with you?"
