Vanna scooped up the children one by one, with Dair wiggling his way up so he could sit on her shoulders. Once there he looked around, enjoying the vantage point, then looked down at Sara again, "Vanna has some of the best beasts! You should see her janarim, Sara. It's this big, hulking beast with all kinds of sharp teeth and only one eye! He lost an eye fighting with a wild janarim to protect her!"

He clapped his hands together in a delighted way, as though it was the greatest story he'd heard in his time. His enthusiasm had Vanna laughing a bit before she looked to the girl she was carrying, "Those I have with me at the moment are the friendly ones. Those that I'd consider to be more standoffish or the 'hard asses' are staying in the stables at the edge of the city. As for the big guy he's talking about, he's here if you want to meet him. His name is Vali."

"Can we climb on his back?" Dair asked from his perch, cheering as he got a nod of approval from Vanna.

"No others as big as Vali at least." Vanna said as she walked passed Saraf and the others that were watching the approach of the woman and the two younglings that she was carrying with her. Saraf thanked her as she went by, telling Dair that they would be going soon enough, once the meeting was done and Sara's family returned. Dair gave a nod then looked forward as they approached the one eyed janarim.

The moment they were close he hopped off to Vanna's shoulders and onto the back to the beast. The great bit creature gave a bit of a huffing sound, tail swishing, tilting his head back so that Dair could scratch him on the forehead. As the boy did so he turned to look toward Sara, motioning to her, "Come on, Sara! There is plenty of room!" The janarim was a big one after all. He was sure that Vali could carry both of them and Vanna all at the same time.

Vanna seemed to consider the question for a moment before she said, "I have been thinking about finding him... a wife, but I haven't picked out the perfect one yet. I am a bit on the picky side and think that he deserves only the best... wife." She all but sighed in relief when she got that all out making it sound far more romantic then it might otherwise sound to a fellow beast tamer. The younglings were just that though, younglings. As such one had to be careful with the way that they described things to them.

Giving a laugh Dair said, "You need to find him a wife that is as big and strong as he is!" He liked that idea thinking that since Vali was such a big guy that he should have an equally as big wife! That was just his thoughts on it though and a commment that had Vanna chuckling before she nodded in agreement, telling him it was a good idea.

Looking over at Sara he asked, "What do you think he needs in a wife, Sara?" It seemed that he wanted to draw her into the conversation so she too could help pick out the perfect wife for Vali. After that maybe he'd have babies? His eyes going wide he asked, "If Vali and his wife have babies can I raise one of them?"

Dair gave a slow nod of his head, a thoughtful sort of look on his face, before he said, "Yeah, the kindness is a good idea... though it has to be the sort that if something dangerous picks on Vali she won't stand for it!" He glanced in the direction of his father, giving a bit of a smile. It was like with his parents. His mother seemed all nice but she was way scarier then his father was by far when she wanted to be. Vali's wife had to be like that!

Just as with Sara he found himself starring at Vanna, looking for confirmation that such a thing was possible. They were helping to pick out the best wife possible after all.

The woman blinked a couple times, seemingly thinking on it, before she said, "I think that would be possible to find." Maybe? Hopefully? She turned to look over at Sara and nodded, "Yeah, janarim aren't all just teeth and claws like some think they are. They can be quite sweet and gentle if they liked their trainers well enough. They can always end up like overly serious hard asses like Grane... ahh... don't repeat that word to any adults."

"So much stuff!" Dair said in an excited manner, plopping down on Vali's back so that he could face Sara, "I went with my family to play in the ocean recently, that was fun. I played a fun game with my brother in which we dodged a bunch of water balls that our mother used make to toss at us!" Magical dodge ball was a great game that he wanted to play again sometime.

"Painting is also fun. I highly recommend that! We, my brother and I, used cherries as paint. The only downside was our hands were sticky forever!" He sounded quite amused by that, as though even sticky hands wasn't enough to stop him from painting with berries again. Giving the girl a curious look he asked, "What about you? What do you and your brother do, Sara?" If what they did was fun he might run it by his brother to see if he wanted to try it out.

Dair cocked his head to the side, tapping a finger to his lips in a thoughtful manner, then said, "That sounds like something I really need to try to do. I'm sure my brother and I could team up and have a ton of fun sneaking up on people." He mused, then gave a grin, "I think it would be fun to try to scare my mother especially! She's so strong that it would fun to see if it's even possible to scare her." He would guess no but there was no reason not to at least make the attempt. It was almost required now that the idea was in his head that he try it at least once, maybe twice or thrice.

Clapping his hands together he said, "Thanks for the great idea, Sara. I will have to let you know how it goes since it was your suggestion." Meeting with her was really lucky, wasn't it? He'd have to thank On'os for granting him the blessing in meeting her later with a tribute or something he thought to himself.

Giving a nod of his head he said, "I will have to take you up on that if I go." He didn't think that it was gonna be soon since he was still little but maybe when he was older? Once things were safer and his parents didn't have to whisper behind their hands about the various dangerous things that they didn't want Faisal and himself to know about. Shaking his head to clear such thoughts he turned his attention back to the moon girl in front of him instead.

Reaching a hand out Dair gave Sara a little poke in the shoulder before he asked in a curious manner, "Are these a Shifter thing or an Ice thing?" They were rather neat looking, like nothing he'd seen before, and he had to assume they were natural since she was too little for tattoos. Right? As far as he knew at least.

Dair seemed to be listening to what she was saying but it was obvious from the look on his face that nothing was really registering. After a moment he gave a nod and then said, "I... don't know who those ladies are but I will keep your secret if you want." He had no idea what she was talking about since he'd never seen a woman like that before himself nor had he really heard about them. As such he didn't see the problem with them. Still, if Sara wanted to keep it a secret then he'd do the same.

"When you're older you can always say they are tattoos or something. My father has a lot of those so I almost thought that's what your markings were. At least I'd of thought that if you weren't my age."

Lifting a hand up Dair gave Sara a pat on the head as though to sooth her, "You don't have to worry about me though, Sara. I'm not about to do anything mean cause I like you." She was alright and didn't appear to have cooties. As such he felt that the two of them should definitely stay friends!
