Rep was in his usual sullen sort of mood as he looked over the other people who were present. There were a lot of people he didn’t know and other people who he frankly didn’t want to know after what they’d said to him on twitter. He wasn’t sure why he was there if he was honest other than a bit of guilt and a sense of obligation. He didn’t owe anything to Melvin – though he was a little less harsh on him given the situation with Jordan – and there were some people like Zeke he’d help but resent helping.
The stupid little girl who’d started the mess in the first place was there and he allowed himself a sharp and vicious little thought that maybe she’d get killed somehow and that everything would be in karmic balance.

He’d been killing the golems almost obsessively since things had started, sometimes fighting them up on his diving cliffs dressed in nothing but his artifacts. It hadn’t made a dent in all the time it had taken. He didn’t see how this would make a difference either, but like anything else on Deus he figured it wouldn’t hurt to try.
Summoning Tracey he waited for an opening in the thing’s defences and moved in for a swing. The retaliation hurt but all he cared about was his charge.

"Point taken," October conceded. "I don't know anything about Creation or Atlantis, so really, I just am hoping to stab things, we did a lot of stabbing zombies during that whole - " He waved a hand. " - stabbypocalypse thing back at the apartments."
He offered Jordan a faint smile that looked as though he wasn't used to it. "I do take it seriously, at least. Especially since I have something to work towards now."
Minipet visits were important, after all.
He'd planned on getting his gear - and he had, at least, gotten a chunk of it - before they were all interrupted. October slung everything into place, fingers automatically wrapping around the hilt of his sword as it appeared in a gust of electric blue.

Merric was dressed reasonably well, because his habits couldn't be broken that easily - but at least they were clothes that he didn't mind ruining or getting wet, even if it still involved a button down (he was not going to consider what Roswell would say to that).
The lobster was enormous. Merric wondered whether or not coming had been a mistake, the pick held tightly in his hands, his heart in his throat. He gave a wide swing as hard as he could, the impact of the hammer on the creature reverberating up and down Merric's arm.

Seren looked up at the lobster shaped Golem, and swore under her breath, summoning Diwata to her hand. She swung hard at the damn thing, and managed to hit the dirt instead of the goddamned thing.

Seren got annoyed at her first miss and yanked her sword up again, and made a hard slash at the lobster, infuriated that it was in their way. She managed to connect this time, pleased at her success.

Oliver should have been a bit more frightened of the giant golem. Everyone he knew would have expected him to be more afraid, practically quivering in a pitiful mess as he confronted the watery crustacean. But he had faced big things in his time off island, and the freckled young man had found a certain calm when it came to staring down giant monsters. He dropped the gear he had gathered and summoned his giant axe, passing Rhys on his way to his own attack. He shot the trainee a nod and a wry glance, a silent 'good luck' after their earlier misadventures with water golems. Leaping at the watery monster, Oliver's axe bit deep into it's rippling armour before he was swatted away by a giant leg and sent sprawling. HP: 40/50 Dmg: 10 Chg: 1/3 Boss HP: 436/500_ p a o cx Ahaha, it looks like Oliver CAN hit a water golem after all. XD

Bringing the axe in for another shot, the golem shifted at the last moment and Jökul's blade sank deep into the sand after only a glancing strike. It retaliated before Oliver could leap back, smashing at him with giant claws.

Oliver didn't even get close for another hit, the creature snapped it's claws at him and it was all he could do to keep from getting pinned completely.

Receiving Melvin's text, Al booked it as soon as he finished what he was doing. It was apparently very important he finished the thing as he clearly arrived fashionably late. He grabbed his swim gear and supplies and ran towards the giant blobster while pausing here and there to get fully into the gear. Arriving, he shouted over at Melvin, "I'm here, man!" He then noted the creature properly and charged in to crack Nuru across one of it's hard shelled legs. It gave a kick back for the effort. HP - 30/40 DMG - 10 CHG - 1/3 Boss HP: 425/500

Joy was about to move to defend someone when one of the water golem's tentacles slammed into her. Adjusting her grip on her bladed shovel, she brought it down on the offending creature with a wet splat. She shouldn't be enjoying herself this much, but the thing just hit really hard and she couldn't help what she felt.

Unlike Kim, Terry didn't even try to attack the golem before it set its sights on him. The next thing he knew, he had pretty much been flung off his feet and dropped onto his back.

"Bordel de merde..." The words slipped out in heavily accented french as Soleil watched the water boiling up and up into the form of a giant ******** lobster. "Pourquoi est-ce toujours des croisements?" Were these Atlantians working on a theme?
People were already rushing in to attack, and the Mist trainee wasn't going to be the last to join the fray. She summoned Bjorn in a flash of acid green and blue, hefted the long scythe up over one shoulder, and charged in as well.
Duel blades sank into the golem's side, tearing right though it's water body in a way that left doubt as to whether or not what they were doing had any effect on the damn thing at all, other than perhaps pissing it off. As evidenced by the flailing leg that sent the trainee reeling backwards.
