Why Do You Want to Work For Us?: Honestly, I really like B/C shops, but I struggle to stay invested unless I'm involved on an art-basis as well as an RP-basis. I really like NMA, the community and inclusivity is just amazing, and I love designing and colouring and just. MAKING THINGS. I wanna make things for other people and commisssions are just. unreliable in terms of getting them, and adoptables are difficult to break into. I see the joy of people getting pets and stuff and just I want to be part of that? Also like. I really like the lines. a LOT.

What Are Some Ideas You'd Like to Contribute:
I'd love to run/help plan an event that takes place in the above(similar to the sand field trip meta). By doing so expanding on the world above, the culture and the way race from below are seen in the world above.
I'd also love to run a DND style campaign (fluid so that people don't feel super pressured to be there at a set time or post a set amount also possibly set in the above) It would work similar to a CYOA but I would be the one rolling a D20 to see how whatever the party decision has come to as a whole pans out for them. Hopefully, this would encourage strengthing of bonds between characters, and give everyone a chance for some funny rp.
I LOVE quests, I want to do what I can to encourage quests,(increasing speed of approvals and feedback request for those stuck on how to finish their quest) so people are getting exactly what they want and helping them better understand the world.
Why Do You Want to Work For Us?: I love this shop, especially the RP side, and the world.

Hours Online: Usually at least 8 a day. This semester, I'll have 1 most of the day class and 1 evening class, so I should be around.

How do you feel about working on a large team of people?: I feel that it's normal? I prefer to work with a larger group, because it tends to bring in a decent balance of view points, and it makes it easier to help each other, too, when things get hectic.
Do you like repetitive tasks and keeping things organized?: Yes. I'm fairly good at it, I like helping people keep things updated, and it makes me feel a little more satisfied with the world when I can properly organize something.
What are your favourite pieces of lore: Man, picking one is hard but... I think I like the Gods, and the way they are each well balanced... They handle a clearly defined sphere of things, and they all work well together. No one god is over-powered with too many things, and they all have at least two facets to their personalities, making for a more well rounded God-Lore base.
Why do you want to work for us?: I love the shop, and want to help keep it running to the best I can.

What are your favourite pieces of lore: I LOVE Rosebud, I love the idea of the quaint little town. I also LOVE to read courting guides (geists stealing, naiad pears ect)
Why do you want to work for us?: I would like to keep busy while being home all the time. I also love this shop and want to do what I can to help it run smooth. AND I love coloring but my line work is still getting better so familiar coloring would be so great.

How do you feel about working on a large team of people?: Excited, as I love learning new ways of thinking/thought processes. I love working as a part of a team and, at least when it comes to RL experience, I currently work in a school research lab a few hours a week as well as participate in lab classes where team work is a requirement.
Do you like repetitive tasks and keeping things organized?: HECK YES I DO. I love making lists and usually have a habit of categorizing my OCs in my free time. ;;
What are your favourite pieces of lore: MY FAVOURITE PIECES OF LORE. That's a big question. Honestly, the bits about the different races are my fave. Like, kirin's having strong legs, shade tails having their own unique personalities, or how a dryad can't handle the cold weather well. It adds depth to my characters while still keeping their unique personality.
Why do you want to work for us?: I love the staff and customer base. ;; This shop has become my home to me and I want to give back to the shop in some way.

Also, I noticed in the announcement that coloring familiars is a part of the job. I tried working with the bases last week or so and realized that my line work isn't up to par on the bases. But I do know how to color (and I looove coloring so much). Here are a few of my previous works from a year or so ago! Ignore the edits, I know the lines aren't super crisp. ;; One, two, three, four, and five
I am proficient in excel and similar spread sheet programs (since I know Gaia is borked and a migration of lists might be necessary). If you'd like samples (since it pertains to my research I don't feel comfortable posting it here) please let me know!
Constructive criticism (at least, when it comes to the application wording. And when it comes to my samples- markings and color theory since I know my edits are poop) is also much appreciated!

How do you feel about working on a large team of people?: I've worked with larger teams, so I don't foresee any problems. I've found that even if I don't always agree with someone, I find that they have strengths that are valuable to the team as a whole.
Do you like repetitive tasks and keeping things organized?: Uh. Yeah? I make spreadsheets for just about everything. I've helped Rain in the background through countless shops that they've worked for. I've done owner's lists before, raffle lists, etc. TLN, Children of Nezumi, Herblore. I can dig up examples if needed.
Here's one I keep for my mileage out of curiosity. I also did the 'Kids Over Time' sample plot from...last year I think? I plan on updating it at some point to see progression.
What are your favourite pieces of lore: Bakenekos and Nagas, I found that it was an interesting mechanic to have them 'shut out' from society for a time, in a way that enabled them to be 'introduced' to the shop in general. I created a quest character that took advantage of this; a non-orphan that was sent to the Academy.
Why do you want to work for us?: I'm already friends with a lot of people on staff, and I like helping them out. As mentioned, I already do lists and organization for Rain in the background, it would be easy to expand that to the entire shop.
Anything else?: I'm Mouse, not a mouse. cat_cool

How do you feel about working on a large team of people?: It's fine so long as everyone stays in good communication.
Do you like repetitive tasks and keeping things organized?: I really do enjoy keeping things organized and am specific when it comes to appearances. I try my best to make sure things are understood and that the code works as is desired.
What are your favourite pieces of lore: I know some of the species' lore is up in the air, but I love all of it to some degree. I try my best to work with the species' history of my characters. I even enjoy picking up some of it to make use of in creating redos of our literature for the Grendel class my character, Arthur, teaches. I have to stamp myself down from going too wild when it's simply a class.
Why do you want to work for us?: As NMA is currently the only place I go to on Gaia, I want to help out the shop anyway I can. I'm especially enthusiastic about the idea of helping to keep things organized and set up.

How do you feel about working on a large team of people?: Far prefer it actually, though I am also entirely capable of solo work and self-starting as necessary. Working with large groups of people is a very easy thing for me to handle.
Do you like repetitive tasks and keeping things organized?: Organizational and administrative nit-picking is what most of my jobs have long consisted of IRL, and I am more than happy to apply such things online.
What are your favourite pieces of lore: Kirins (traditionally) cut their hair as a sign of rebellion. Was only aware of this when I got my first Kirin (with short hair) and immediately fell in love with such a tidbit. It's already added so much to the backstory of the character. I enjoy such bits that consist of the cultural norms that apply more day-to-day, to know what sort of ideas and concepts my character(s) (might!) have been raised around. It helps me flesh out not only the character but also their background with their family and views towards their own culture.
Why do you want to work for us?: I've been in and out of the shop a few times, but now that I'm deciding to stick around, I've been immensely impressed by the welcoming nature of the community here. I'd love to give back to the community and shop, and figured this could be an enjoyable way for me to do so.
Anything else?: Love the idea of helping out with familiars and such, along with the organizational aspects of the job. I find such tasks really relaxing so especially perked up at that.

How do you feel about working on a large team of people?: I enjoy being able to help out, I am very much a Hufflepuff and enjoy being part of things.
Do you like repetitive tasks and keeping things organized?: YES! I enjoy things like copy editing and updating lists and such. Its nice to be useful.
What are your favourite pieces of lore: I love the story of the Fallen. How there is still so much potential with the race to be explored still. Also I love the meta-event lore that allows customers and shop goers to contribute to lore as well!
Why do you want to work for us?: I want to make peoples lives easier! I spend all my time in the NMA shop and Discord, and I want to be as helpful as possible......be that purchasing, working, or participating in the shop for the shop.
Anything else?: Thank you to all of the staff for the hard work they put in for all our enjoyments. It is a treat to be a part of this shop because it is such a convivial atmosphere.
