"You're smart, you'll pick it up faster than you think." He was tempted to tell the other senshi how many people he'd kissed with 'no experience' who were still good at it but didn't figure that would go over all that well. Instead he used his fingers on the other's jaw to tilt his head slightly into a better angle. It was easy to put more feeling behind the kiss while still keeping it from being too much. Almandine's lips were soft and far too tempting, even if the other senshi wasn't participating much in the whole process.

He sincerely doubted that, as a matter of fact, but it didn't matter. Arachne had leaned forward again, mouths meeting, and this time Almandine leaned a little more securely into it, one hand raising to come to rest at Arachne's waist. He still wasn't sure how exactly to do anything; it was a lot of just instinct, really, but it wasn't that hard to press into the kiss itself, Almandine's head tilting to accommodate.
It felt - very nice, as a matter of fact. Warm and soft and sweet. Almandine felt the first, strange sweep of faint warmness across his cheeks, fingers curling into the fabric at Arachne's sides as his other hand came up to mirror the first.

Arachne nudged Almandine's glasses up slightly so they wouldn't dig into either of their noses as the other Senshi leaned into the kiss. He felt the other hands settle on his hips and smiled into the kiss. That at lease meant Almamndine was relaxing and the fact that he'd leanrd into it this time was a good sign. He could feel a soft, fuzzy, warmth spreading through him as the kiss continued.

His glasses did seem to be getting in the way, which was annoying in a way he couldn't quite understand, because they had never gotten in the way of much before, and they were better than contacts. But Arachne's mouth was warm against his own, gentle and firm simultaneously, and it felt...
...good. He felt good. The fluttery warmth was starting to spread a little further across Almandine's face, curling in his chest, and his hands slid a little further around Arachne's waist, an instinctive move that he wasn't even aware he was doing.

A few moments after he felt Almandine's hands slide around his waist Arachne pulled back from the kiss enough that their lips were just barely brushing together. He knew one, if not both, of them were going to need to actually breath and while Alma would probably even cuter breathless he didn't want to push too far. "Still enjoying yourself?" His voice was soft since they were so close, fingers idly stroking lightly along the other senshi's neck.

He stumbled forward a little as Arachne pulled back; an instinctive, unconscious thing, as though chasing after what he'd just had. Almandine's cheeks were flushed, his eyes fluttering open, though they were still half lidded, a little unfocused.
"Yes," he said truthfully, after a moment had passed, because trying to get his breath back needed a second. "It's very nice. I feel glasses impede things a little, though, which is unfortunate."

"Told you it was fun." He shifted the hand that had been cradling the other senshi's jaw, thumb brushing along his bottom lip. Almandine looked way too damn good with his cheeks flushed. How was he supposed to resist something like that? It was practically on the same level as leaving a starving man in front of a buffet. "No one really thinks to get glasses out of the way until it's too late." He laughed softly. "Then they either fall off or get taken off."

Fun was not a word that Almandine was familiar with in any sense of the term. But it had been pleasant, on many levels, and something about the way that Arachne's thumb was moving against his lower lip was making Almandine's chest feel tight.
"You did," he said in agreement, but his eyes were still a little unfocused, a small frown on his lips. One of his hands rose, fingers sliding over the bridge of his glasses, and Almandine slipped them off, maneuvering one of his arms to tuck them into his vest.
"There," he said, and his gaze had dropped to Arachne's lips again, unintentionally, something in him still fluttering. "That should...take care of it."
And this time it was him Almandine that leaned forward, pressing his lips against Arachne's, fingers curling against the fabric at the front of his uniform.

Arachne raised a brow and was going to question the removal of Almandine's glasses but the other senshi leaning in to kiss him instead stopped that thought in its tracks. It almost stopped all his thoughts in their tracks. Maybe he should have expected it but he hadn't thought Almandine would go for a kiss himself. Almandine 1. Arachne's heart 0 His hand fell from the other senshi's jaw to wrap around his waist instead, pulling the other man just that much closer to him.

He made a soft, willing noise that he wasn't aware of making as Arachne's arm wound around his waist, Almandine's own arms bent between their bodies, trapped against Arachne's chest and his own. He wasn't sure why he had wanted to keep doing this, because kissing seemed...well, out of his league, to be quite honest.
But it was warm and pleasant and soft and he liked it more than he'd thought he would, the fluttering feeling in his chest increasing, expanding outwards.
He wanted more of this.

Tilting his head a bit Arachne parted his lips, tongue brushing lightly against Almandine's. He wasn't sure taking the kiss any further would be a good idea but there wasn't anything wrong with testing the waters. The other senshi had said he wanted to learn and, so far, he seemed to be enjoying things just fine. A little more couldn't hurt right? Only Arachne didn't want to push too far. He genuinely liked Almandine and didn't want to do something that might make the other senshi change his mind. On the other hand he really didn't want to stop anything that was happening.

A shiver traveled up and down Almandine's spine at the light touch of Arachne's tongue; and after only a fraction of hesitation, his own lips parted, not quite tentatively, but not quite eagerly, either. A cautious exploration, an allowance for Arachne to keep going, because he liked the way it felt.
Almandine's fingers slid up Arachne's chest and came to rest on his shoulder, pressing himself just a little closer.

Arachne gave in to the temptation a bit, letting his tongue brush lightly against the other senshi's lips again before he pulled back. Taking a deep breath he leaned back enough that he could look at Almandine properly. The other senshi still made a far too tempting picture with the flush across his cheeks and still parted lips. Why did he have to grow up and get a sense of responsibility. "As much as I'd really like to keep doing that all night, and trust me I'd really like to ... god I don't even know what I'm saying." He laughed softly, shaking his head slightly. He brushed a quick, chaste, kiss against the other senshi's lips again before brushing a bit of hair out of the other's eyes. "Don't want to overwhelm you."

Once more, he instinctively moved forward as Arachne moved back, Almandine's eyes fluttering open a second later. His cheeks were very red, almost as dark as the scarlet on his uniform, lips parted as he tried to catch his breath again.
He felt winded, like he'd just run a mile. The chaste kiss had his lashes fluttering, Almandine's gaze flicking over Arachne's face, head tilting a little to the side; an unselfconscious little gesture that put his face a little more into Arachne's gentle touch.
"I'm not overwhelmed," said Almandine, which was only half true. He felt oddly off kilter, not wanting to move from where he stood.
"But perhaps...if you're feeling as though you should go, then I understand," he said, added, after a moment.

"Trust me. I'm usually the last person to want to call a stop to anything like this. Especially with someone as insanely tempting as you." He reached up again to run his fingers along Almandine's jaw. "It's not that I want to stop, or go, but..." But Almandine had said he'd never done anything like this before. He'd been confused about basic concepts of flirting and liking someone. After all the s**t Arachne had been through he didn't want Almandine to just be another knotch on his Negaverse bedpost. And maybe that meant giving the other time to actually think about what they were doing. "Could meet here again in a few days?"
