His green eyes went over everything, though they seemed to move faster over the blades since he had little interest in them. A few things he found interesting. A simple shield had it's appeal but he wasn't sure he would be able to move with it. Not to mention it might make him feel out of place. Still, it did look nice. Dovian paid special attention to the magical weapons but nothing called out to him so he ignored them soon after. Hearing his sister say she saw some gauntlets that were interesting he looked up at her. "Oh? Which ones?" He hadn't gotten to those yet but was curious to see which ones his twin favored. Shura might have spent her money but he still had his. He could always find out which ones she liked then come back later with his dad and get them.

Shura pointed at the pair that she'd been looking at, "I like the coloration of them." She said, indicating the pair that had the leather working dyed red. It was a color that she favored and therefore it made those gauntlets a pair that drew her eyes. She put Anhalo up onto her shoulder before she picked them up, testing their weight, then with the permission of the shop owner tried them on. Giving a grin she nodded, "Yeah, that isn't so bad." She said as she threw a couple of mock punches. They weren't so heavy that they would weigh her down, meaning that she'd still be able to fight without having to adjust too terribly much. They would be enough that they would give her a bit of intimidation factor as well if she threatened to punch someone with them. It would be the best way to go about protecting Dovian for sure! "What do you think? Would they make good fly swatters for those pests that try clinging to you, Dovi?" She asked, giving a bit of a laugh as she took the gauntlets off, replacing them on the display. She'd definitely have to come back for those later! Until then she would just have to start to save up again so that she could get the gauntlets and jump right into training. After all once they figured out what they wanted to do their father had told them that he would get them the best teachers to help them hone their skills. Something that she was greatly looking forward to. Street fighting was one thing but really real fighting was quite another... the biggest difference being actual training being involved.

Dovian leaned closer to the ones she pointed at so that he could get a better look. Of course then she tried them on he he noticed how well they fit. That was good, it meant that they wouldn't need adjusting to her size. "I would run from them, if that counts." He smiled at his sister. When she put them back where they were he noticed another pair of gauntlets nearby. They were black and brown but something about them had him staring at them. Dovian wasn't a natural fighter like his twin but he did like the look of those. After a moment of staring he looked back at his sister. "What do you think about those.. for me?" He pointed to the pair.

Shura started to laugh, "Really? Well... that's good I think? Though since it's you there is no real reason for you to run from me." The idea that he might run away from still kind of amusing to her since it was basically the opposite of what she wanted from the gauntlets. He was supposed to run to her so that she could protect him, not away. Still, it was kind of a funny mental image, her chasing after him demanding that he let her save him. Glancing toward the black and brown gauntlets that Dovian was pointing to. They were a little plain but it seemed that they were for... him? A less flashy pair of them might suit him. Why gauntlets though she found herself wondering. Did that mean that he wanted to learn to fight with his fists as well? It was an odd thought but at the same time it was actually a very good idea. It would mean that he would be able to take care of himself... not that she liked the idea of him doing so since it meant that he wouldn't really need her anymore. "So long as you really want them then I think they would suit you, Dovi." She told him, patting his shoulder, "I don't want you picking them just because I did and you think you have to follow suit."

He understood where his sister was coming from. Picking something just because she did wouldn't make him happy but the gauntlets really did appeal to him. Or maybe it was just their easy look. "I'll think about it to see if I really like the idea." He nodded his head to help her be reassured. "Nothing else looked good to me though." Not that they weren't nice looking or of good quality but they just weren't for him. He reached up and pat Anhalo before he smiled at his twin. "We should probably get your kitty home to eat. I bet mom has snacks all made up." The faster they could get home the faster he could talk to their dad.

Shura gave a nod of her head, "Alright, if you're certain. It could be fun for us to train together with the same weapon. I bet we could come up with all sorts of fun tricks!" If he was sure that he wasn't just following her lead then she would be only too happy to train alongside her brother. At the mention of getting Anhalo home to eat she nodded, "Yeah, I'm sure that he would love that. Isn't that right, Anhalo? Some tasty treats for my little baby!" She hugged him close before she paused, looked up to Dovian, and said before he could tease the little pup, "I won't let him get fat! I will make sure that he gets some playing in so that he can run off all the snacks." Even if he would be cute no matter if he was fat or not.

Dovian paused for a moment before he laughed and shook his head. "He'll still be a fat lil kitty." As much as his mother cooked and everyone ate it was a surprise they all weren't fat. Though he was sure that Profit was starting to show some pudge. Either that or she was fluffier than usual. This time it was he who grabbed his sister's hand and started toward home. "Come on before that girl from earlier tracks me down." They were no longer out on a walk away from town so he had the small fear that he would be clung to again. Of course he hoped the girl had learned her lesson.

Shura pouted before looking down at Anhalo, "Don't worry. You will be adorable no matter what! Don't let anyone ever tell you any differently." Words that had the pup squeaking in delight, obviously a fan of any time that Shura talked directly to him. It was something that had his tail wagging like crazy behind him, which had her giggling a bit, "You really are the most adorable little water kitty ever! That's the reason that I picked you out of all of those that the breeder had. You're the best one ever! Yes you are!" At the mention of the girl from earlier Shura's nose wrinkled a little and she found herself looking from side to side. She didn't see the pest straight away... which was good. The last thing she wanted was to have to hand Anhalo over to Dovian again so that she could chase off the same person a second time in one day. She'd do it, of course, but she'd rather think that the girl would at least be smart enough to get lost for at least a while before bother Dovian again... or maybe she could get lost for good? That might take a few more punches though, huh? "Don't worry, if she dares to show up I will deal with her again with Jonal's blessing."

Still smiling he nodded his head. "Yes, Anhalo is cute and will be even if he's fat." Though it would be amusing to see a fat Zanteer. He didn't really think the pup would end up even the slightest bit chubby if it trained with his sister though. It might take on more muscle than fat. With his sister saying that she would deal with the girl again if she showed up Dovian sighed. "That's what I'm afraid of." His free hand went to his dreads and he moved them off his shoulders. "I can just imagine what you would do if I ever did get a girlfriend." Not that he had any interest in that right now.

"Yes, he will be cute even if he gets fat." She said, though she didn't mean to allow him to become as such. Surely it wouldn't be healthy for him! Especially since he was just a little baby! When he was older it might be something to worry about a little less... but for the time being it was important that she took good care of him and made sure that he was kept healthy and of a weight that was appropriate for his size and age. That was what she was going to attempt to the best of her ability at least. Shura's smile seemed to only get that much brighter and more devious before she said the sweetest tone of voice ever, "Oh! Don't worry, Dovi! I'd only make sure that she got lost in the desert if she isn't good enough for you."

He opened his mouth to say something but then closed it and just shook his head. From that alone he could tell she was serious. It was a good thing he wasn't interested in girls. Or boys for that matter. Romance just didn't appeal to him at the moment. "Spirits help anyone who tries to be with me." He mumbled. Another shake of his head and he tugged on his sister so that they could get home. All the talk of snacks and getting fat made him hungry and if she listened she might hear his stomach growl.

Shura gave a sharp nod of her head, "The only way you will be getting married any time soon is with the blessing of Hatald handed to me personally so I know the girl is good enough for you." She gave a smile, patting her brother on the head. There wasn't a girl out there that she felt was good enough for Dovian... but she'd let them try once he was a bit older and less of a push over. Not that she would make it easy for anyone even then. They would need to prove to her that they were worthy of her wonderful brother though she had a feeling that there was no chance that any random girl would be able to do so. Especially if the girls from today were any indication of those she'd be dealing with. As her brother tugged on her sleeve, his stomach grumbling, she starred up at him for a moment. Ah-ha! So it wasn't Anhalo he was thinking about, it was himself! Of course she knew that the little zanteer wouldn't turn down food at his present age so she would call it even. Given both of them, not to mention Shura herself, were all hungry she picked up the pace a bit, "Let's get home so that I can get both you and Anhalo fed. I don't want the two of you wasting away on me." Who would she protect then after all?
