War chuckled a little more. It was nice see that for once. "I've lived a long time and sometimes that line gets blurred. But people like you keep it present and hopeful." He placed his blade back to its position on his back. "Mhmm but I did forget my Manners. I am War." Giving a small smile as he stood up and looked around the shop. "Keep that hope up. With people like you the scales stayed balanced."

What else could Rune possibly say? She knew that there were times when fighting was needed, but she didn't see it as a necessity. There would always be good and evil, light and darkness, but that didn't mean that there couldn't be a chance for peace. "I will keep this blade, but I will not tolerate any fighting in my shop."'I have doubt that others will come looking for it. I just hope that I can keep it safe.'
War gave a nod. "My word is my bond. I will not fight in here unless the blade is threatened." He looked out the window to see if anyone might have rolled up after him, but when none showed he nodded. "Keep the Gold. I have no need for it." Clenching his fist a little before facing the woman again. "What can you tell me if this realm."

"There will be no fighting here of any kind." Rune said, looking out a nearby window. "I don't care if this blade is threatened or not. I will not have my shop turned into a battle zone." What could she possibly say about this realm? There were new things to see every day. "There's not really much I can say. This realm is home is to many different types of people. And then there is the Academy of Light. The Deimos are the main threat, but it's very rare to see them around the shops."
War nodded as he listened to it all. "Academy of Light? Deimos? Interesting terms..." He turned around and looked to the woman from the window. He was learning a fair share. "What sort of races are in this realm? I do apologize for the questions, I'm curious is all. If you have questions for me feel free to ask. It is only fair." Nodding a little before he went to the seat.

Rune wasn't sure what to ask, but she figured that she would come up with something at some point. For the time being, she would try her best to answer his questions. "There's no need to apologize. This world is home to many different races. Humans, miqo'te, elves, to name a few. There are many others, so many that I can't name them all." There was so much that she could talk about, but she didn't exactly have a whole lot of time to say everything. "The Academy of Light trains its students to fight against the darkness. That being said, the students aren't protected and can easily be turned to darkness. Deimos are creatures of darkness, although some are quite intelligent. There are a few that appear more human than others. If they aren't dealt with, the darkness could push back the light."
War nodded as he listened some more. "Teaches them to fight strong. What happens if they go dark? And who converts them?" He had more questions, maybe greater then answers he could receive. He tapped his chin for a bit. "Any questions for me? I probably have more, but you should ask some too. Seems balanced that way."

"No one converts them to the darkness." Rune said. "There are some that have the potential to go dark. Those that know heartbreak, pain, suffering, can be swayed if they're not careful." She had to take a pause and grip her arm a little. All she could think about was her lost memories. Even after six years, she couldn't seem to find any answers. "If any were to go dark, they would turn against their friends. The light would become their enemy, unless someone can free them before it's too late. I have no idea what to ask. I can't even remember who I am."
War nodded some more. "So... are they like puppets?" He was curious if he would fight a few. He always enjoyed a good fight. "If they attack this place, I will defend it. You have my words." He nodded and stood up, stretching a little. "So why not defend the students? It makes no sense to me."

"I guess you could say that." Rune said. "There are those that find a way to control the darkness and use it for good. I don't believe that all darkness is bad. Without darkness, there cannot be light. And without light, there cannot be darkness. That's just how things work. It's about the choices you make. We need balance and people to keep that balance. That's why the light and darkness exist. I couldn't imagine fighting against the students." When asked why the students weren't defended, she paused for a few minutes. It was a little odd, but at the same time, it made sense. "How can they learn to deal with darkness without experiencing it? The school has defenses within its teachers."
War listened, having a strong belief in balance himself. "I understand balance, I live for it. But breaking a child is cruel, and that is coming from me." He folded his arms, waving his hand to summon Ruin, his horse, to the window. Opening the window and stroking his faithful steed he sighed. "A battle is dangerous, and with my Sibilings here... so curious." Scratching his horses head a little more he let out a sigh. "Deimos... who kills them?"

What else could Rune possibly say? There was so much in the world, that it would take a long time to explain. Even she didn't know everything that was going on. "We can't just eradicate all the Deimos. Those of the light will take care of them. All we can do is get them under control."
War kept scratching his horse. "You can if you try." He turned to look at her. "Control? Like an animal? Or just control the population?" He was just getting more and more questions. With a sigh he stretched a bit. "What can you tell me about the Deimos? Are they like demons?"

What else could Rune say? There was so much mystery surrounding the Deimos. "No one is really sure what caused the Deimos to appear. Everything was fine and then one day, a large amount of darkness started to spread. It wasn't long after that when the Deimos appeared. Some are like demons and others are more peaceful. Not every Deimos is hostile, hence why we can't just wipe them out. They feed on fear and grow stronger, depending on how much they absorb."
War nodded some more. It was interesting to learn such facts. "I understand. So the school is to train the students to police them..." Wiping them out was easier, but not everyone was bad. Sometimes people changed, others they didn't. "So is it just morality then? How do you decide this? Who is the judge then?"
