Shaline stopped in her tracks when he asked if she liked him. She truly didn't know how to respond to something like that. She never had been in this situation before. She tried to remember back to when a one of the warriors of light was asked a similar question."What would you say if I said yes?."Shaline turned to him and waited for a response. She nodded to when he should have shown a picture of Rune to La'ella. In hindsight, that would have probably been a wise choice.

Artemis wasn't too sure what to say himself. It was easy for him to tell that Shaline was unsure herself. "You expect me to say something cheesy. No. I wouldn't do a thing like that. It's been a while since I felt anything for anyone. I'm sure you understand how hard it would be to trust someone new after what I've been through." He smiled and took her hand. "Anyone would be lucky to end up with you. You've brought back my happiness in such a short amount of time. No one has been able to do that until now."
