"You're not the first to threaten me." Rayne said, surprised by the kiss. He didn't care about Aiko's emperor, but he did care for Riku and Ritsu. Besides, he made a promise to Ritsu that they would see each other again. Rayne knew too well what it meant to be used by someone. It was something that he was used to and he didn't want anyone else to be put through it. 'I just hope that she doesn't meet Dimitri and Shadira. They wouldn't let her kill me, but I would still be a prisoner here. "You're just a pawn and nothing more."
Rayne watched as Aiko left and relaxed a little. He still had no clue when Dimitri and Shadira would return, but he would enjoy his time alone. Not to mention that he couldn't be sure how long it would be until Aiko found out the truth. 'What should I do now? Aiko will be pissed when she returns.'

Shadira walked inside the castle and smirked upon seeing Rayne. She could sense that there had been another presence in the room and glared. Before Rayne could react, she had him wrapped in shadow threads. "You allowed someone to get in here Rayne." Chuckling a little, she watched as the shadows ripped off his shirt. "What should be your punishment this time?" Watching him struggle made her smile as she walked behind. "You have fresh wounds. Oh and look at that. It looks as if some have healed. We'll have to do something about that." Without hesitation, she struck him across the back with her shadow whip. Hearing him cry out in pain made her laugh. "Now we have opened those wounds back up. Aren't they a work of art?"
To say Aiko was pissed again would be another understatement. Either that boy tricked her, or she just missed them. But Aiko stormed back into the castle. She was gonna find him and make him tell her one more time where he saw them. She didn't care who else was there. She heard a cry and made her way towards the sound. And it sounded like someone got their chance at the boy. She surrounded her presence with some shadows. Maybe she would enjoy watching the boy pay for something. She slipped into the room and watched from the shadows. That must have been one of the ones the boy mentioned to her earlier. She liked her....but only if she could sway her to help her.

Shadira continued to strike Rayne with her whip, enjoying the pain she was causing. After a while, she stopped her onslaught and rubbed his face. "Your brought this upon yourself. I won't kill you, but your suffering is pleasing to the ears. You can hang there for a while." Laughing, she walked over and sat on her throne. It wasn't as large as Dimitri's, but it was to her liking. "I don't know who you let in Rayne, but I will find out. And you will suffer until I do."
Aiko watched for a while until the woman sat on the other throne in the room, the one she wasn't sitting on earlier. But she couldn't contain her laughter much longer. She started laughing and sent the shadows away that was hiding her presence. The boy looked pathetic, and she enjoyed it."Oh this is too good. Where is the popcorn when I need it."

Shadira looked Rayne up and down, noticing how weak he was. 'He won't be moving or saying anything for a while.' Before she could say anything, she took notice to the laughter. "I suggest you come out before I force you to."'Could this be the one that Rayne let in? This could be interesting.' Glancing over at Rayne, she noticed the blood dripping to the floor and his slow breathing. "Why are you here?"
Aiko smirked at the threat."Or what? Bind me like you did the boy? Save your breath, it won't work on me."Aiko snapped her fingers to let the boy down. What looked to be a dark knife slashed at the thread. Even though she enjoyed the beating he got, she was civil enough to not let the boy hang there, she wasn't that heartless. She stepped out of the shadows after she did that and looked at her."I could ask you the same question, but judging by the look of the boy, I suspect that you own the place. So I will save the trouble of not asking."Aiko looked over to the boy, deep down she really did feel sorry for him. No one deserved to get beaten, but she wasn't about to stop one from doing so. She glanced back to the woman. She posed little threat to her."In any case, I came back to get answers from the boy. Seems he has seen my prey."

Shadira watched the girl cut down Rayne and smirked. "I am Shadira and you can think of me as second in command here. I take it that he told you a lie. Tell me who you are and what you want. Afterwards, I just might decide to lend a hand. I can force him to tell you everything you want." Looking over to Rayne, she scoffed a little. "Although, he won't be able to say much at the moment."
Aiko smirked. This was turning out to be interesting."Aiko. I'm tracking down a pair of twins. My emperor would love to....have them come to his castle and perform for him. Although, they are on the run. I am trying to track them down."Aiko kept her eyes locked on Shadira. Maybe she could come up with a way to get her on her side. If she could work with Shadira, she just might be able to get who she wants."How about we make a deal. I help you and you help me sort of deal. You help me find those pesky twins and I help you with dealing with whoever you want."

Shadira smiled and crossed her legs. "Aiko. That's a interesting name. Sounds interesting. I was right after all. Rayne didn't remain in the castle. Not to mention that allowed you to enter. For that, he had to be punished." She thought about Aiko's offer and nodded. "Alright. I will help you find them." She then looked to Rayne and smirked. "It is an eyesore to have him laying there. Be a dear and make sure he gets back to his room. It's on the west side of the castle."
Aiko glared at her for a second but then shrugged."I normally don't take orders from anyone but my emperor, but just this once. Once I do so, lets discuss what you would like for me to do in return."Aiko snapped her fingers and a dark hand scooped up Rayne and carried him like a groom carrying his bride as she made her way through the castle to Rayne's room."Those twins will be mine soon, boy. And there is nothing you can do to stop me. I'll keep your little secret from that woman."She had the hand lay him down on his bed. She pulled out a potion from her pocket and poured it down his throat."Don't say I never did anything for you."

Rayne slowly opened his eyes and looked around, noticing that he was in his room. When he noticed Aiko, a look of fear came over him. 'She got back sooner than I thought.'"You will fail." He winced a little, feeling the scars on his body. 'Shadira really did a number on me this time. I can barely feel anything. There has to be something I can do.'
Aiko looked over to him. She went over to him and lowered her voice to where only he could hear."Just tell me where you saw the twins and I'll make sure you aren't forced to tell me anything. I said I'll keep your secret that you know them. After all, with me, they will be alive. Do you really think that witch down there will keep them alive?"Aiko looked at him dead in the eyes. She could tell that this was the woman that made him suffer, and she didn't like people suffering, as evil as she was, she still hated those that suffer physically. She moved back and walked to his door. She balled one hand and formed a dark bird."When you want to tell me, send this bird. Only I can hear it's calls. After all, you want the twins to stay alive as much as I do."
