There was definitely a habit of filling all spaces with
sound and words, as thought silence were something to fear, like the empty space might swallow a body up. It was a very
American thing, as far as Pasi was concerned. Yuuri wasn't American, clearly, so between them the quiet spaces passed easily. It was actually kind of...nice...to be able to allow things to lapse without another person's anxieties filling the space with discomfort and pressure.
Yuuri rose and Pasi did the same because that was only polite in
any culture. The bow was quite Japanese and the Finn inclined his own head in return, not a bow like the little mouse had done, but a gesture of respect and acknowledgement just the same. "Not at all.
"I'll see you out, then." With 'good-byes' already said, Pasi could simply escort Yuuri back up the short stairs and through the hall to the door without comment. Instead of having worry about doing the whole ******** thing
again at the goddamn door, stand there waving like a ******** moron - or worse, be considered rude for shutting his ******** door once the other party was walking away. Well, worse because invariably the person considering him rude was a friend of his mother's, so he had to get an earful there - peers and folks he met for jobs didn't
matter, but still.
With Yuuri out of his apartment, Pasi got a beer and then went to his laptop to type up the instructions he'd promised before he forgot.
