Sweet Tart arrived at the party he smiled brightly and bounced about a little bit he was so happy to be going to the spring dance. He turned around found pretty pink and blue stone that was shaped like an egg, he wondered if it was an egg of sorts maybe a familiar would come out of it some day. After all Sweet Tart had been a stone before he was awoken from a stone. He put the stone in the pocket of his outfit and then went out on the dance floor to dance. He hopped around happily to the music.
Eberly was late as usual so many festivities going on. It was not uncommon for them to get lost in their art, once a muse hit it was difficult to stop.
Sighing to themselves they looked around the large room watching all the students interact and dance. Seeing everything through the eyes of a artist made for a different view. Knowing they needed to relax and enjoy themselves they decided to walk around and mingle a little.

Missy sighed dramatically as she picked at her slice of cake, looking over the dancefloor. It seemed more people were arriving now, so maybe she had a chance to actually socialise with someone?
Lizbet, after a long break from the festivities (to help feed, water, and take-home their new kidden) was back. They scanned the crowd, looking intently at the people around for someone that might be interested in sharing a dance. After all, what was the point of a dance if one never made it to the dance floor?
They walked over to the edge of it, before moving to lean against one of the columns jutting out a bit from the wall, trying to make themself into the very image of relaxed composure.
Now, they only had to wait for someone....

So maybe Isabelle should have brought her notebook. Sure, it had seemed like a good idea at the time, to leave it behind, but now that she was here in the midst of the festival, she was almost regretting her decision. Then again, she wouldn’t enjoy the festival if she was busy trying to interview people.
There were a variety of different activities to do and quite a few new nightmares and daydreams around. Looking around to see which she wanted to do, the nixie caught sight of a pretty pink and blue egg shaped crystal. It was pretty enough that she tucked it away into her pocket for later. It would make a nice decoration for her dorm at the very least.
Aiden had the kind of smile on his face that you would see in commercials when someone wanted to sell you something. You know, the kind that nobody ever seems to have in real life? He hadn’t been in Below for very long, but he’d been invited to the Spring Equinox Festival. On a whim he’d decided to go.
Looking around, it was. . .nice. Nothing to write home about, but acceptable for being a school run event. There were some tables set up nearby that had a couple trinkets to take home. Considering he was here, he might as well go ahead and see if there was anything he wanted to take home.
Agave was so close to graduation they could almost taste it. Lately all they’d done had been study study study. This was a more than well-earned break. Looking through the trinkets, they picked up a pretty pink and green bracelet. It was pretty and surprisingly matched them rather well. There were a few other things they wouldn’t mind picking up, but they would come back for those later. The next booth had some candy and they scooted down the line to it. Depending on what kind it was, they’d think about picking some up to share. Their roommate hadn’t wanted to come out, but they might appreciate a souvenir or two.
Natsumi Natsumi listened to the music for one song ended, she stepped off the dance floor and went to go to a booth that had a couple different types of candy and trinkets. She picked up a bag of candy then went to get a drink so she could rest for a moment. She looked around watching the others at the dance. She took a drink of the sweet punch that was being served as refreshments. Natsumi opened her bag of candy eating a few pieces of candy. She wanted to find someone to dance with but wasn't really sure who she wanted to ask.
Sweet Tart found a dapper gent of a rammykin to dance with, he laughed as he spun around the rammykin floating along with him. Sweet Tart gentled took the familiar in his arms to snuggle it he was really glad to have run into the cute little black familiar with the eyeglass at the dance. Sweet Tart loved pretty much everyone and everything so familiars had a lot of room in his heart, but they didn't feel like what he wanted to take care of them as a dream job. Sweet Tart still wasn't sure what he wanted to do.
Meila picked up a bracelet from the dance then she moved to the edge of the dance floor to watch everyone else dance, she didn't exactly dance she swayed which wasn't a bad thing if you liked to dance. Meila wasn't sure why she had decided to leave her dorm room perhaps it was something she had read in her tea leaves. Who knew perhaps today would be the day that she found someone worth her time. It could happen, not that it was very likely but if she never left her dorm room the odds were very low, not that it would never happen, since fate sometimes did dorm service.
Zia bounce onto the dance floor and then she tumbled off and under a table where she found a cute jackalope that looked like it was painted like a spring egg. Zia giggled and cuddled the little creature to her chest gently. She had already decided to take it back to her dorm room with her when the dance was over. She leaned over and peeked out at the others dancing making sure she didn't get caught by one of her siblings. Zia didn't like killjoys and Ellunia was a mega downer with all the rules and be safe talk bah. Zia would rather jump off a cliff into the sea then listen to Ellunia fret about everything mother hen!!
Ellunia was trying to find Zia worried that she had gotten herself in trouble again, but she instead ended up finding a pretty green familiar that had flowers patterned on its fur. Well if Zia was hiding from her again at least Ellunia would have this sweet familiar to keep her company. She slowly moved out onto the dance floor to spin around with the soft familiar, she hoped she would find a dance partner about her height someday but for now, Daisy snuggle would be a good dance partner. Ellunia felt like she needed more fluffy friends to keep her company.
Eberly smiled to themselves as they leaned casually against a pillar in the shadowed corner of the large room that held the dance. Looking about everywhere they turned was another student enjoying the festivities.
Trying to see them without using their "artist" eye was difficult but determined to try. To see the pure joy that was being expressed by those attending was something they wanted to see, and experience for themselves.
Finding themselves with a sudden sweet tooth they shoved themselves from the pillar and made towards the refreshment table. On it was several bowls of drink in varying flavors, some snacks and candy. Their eyes sparkled a bit as they reached for a bag. Candy was something they loved and indulged in regularly.
Casting a look about they moved slowly to the beat of the music playing letting their mind drift and enjoy the moment.

Kamiaela was intrigued, she had never been to a below festival before and it was overwhelming to her. The colors, food, music and all the different races was fascinating as well as felt like she did not belong.
Carefully making her way to a small table she kept her eyes moving not wanting to miss anything.
SnowLily couldn't help herself she was giddy laughing to herself as she watched everyone dance and to be honest some of them were funny in how they moved.
Knowing she could not be long as they dance would be going on to late she skipped around enjoying all the sights and sounds of the dance.
He might be a little late to the party, but Ares more than made up for it when he sauntered in with his base guitar in hand. His homework might be a little, ok more than a little, rushed, but he wanted to finish it before he started out for the festival. Now that he was here, he could see more than a few nightmares, and daydreams, on the dance floor. With an eager grin, he kept an ear on the music as he strut closer.
After a short while of just listening, Ares jumped in to add his guitar to the mix. It must be his lucky day, because one of his favorite songs was playing. A few nightmares made eye contact with him as he played, and he gave each of them a confident grin. Music might not be his favorite thing, but it was up there on his list.
It wasn't long before the familiar feeling of a vespercat stropping his legs made him glance down. It's sleek fur was a pale blue with white stripes, and pastel purple eyes stared up at him. "Well, you're looking a much too fine to be a stray, I wonder who you belong to," he murmured down to it as he played.
