"The chase is one of the best parts!" Surtr said with a playful tone obviously very excited about it. "It's a wonderful match of back and forth, trying to understand and learn the other while simultaneously attempting to move forward to the finale." Surtr said all the while his smirk seeming to curl more playfully at the end. "The better the journey the better the end destination." Surtr said giving a very gentle nudge to Kami playfully doing so but also divulging the why behind what he enjoyed. As she mentioned seeing through him he chuckled. "Yes well most of the world is not as keen as you, so just don't go around telling others about what lays beneath the mask." Surtr said as if implying his outwardly playful personality was shallow but that he enjoyed people only seeing that.

"You don't enjoy being complimented then? Duly noted...." Surtr said with a smirk. "I see nothing wrong with being hit on. Some people are just intimidated by a strong independent woman and fall back to that in order to try to get a shot with you." Surtr said with a soft smile complimenting Kami as well as giving slight insight to why she had been plagued by mend lately. As she spoke about playing the game he chuckled softly. "Very well but I am quite the player so I must warn you." He said looking about on the buildings. He stopped looking to her now that same playful smile. "It's cold and clear, which means the stars are bright. Can you fly?" He inquired looking to her wondering and waiting what she would say. Depending on the answer their night may change drastically.

Surtr was seen sitting at the brothel bar sipping on some mead his fingers tip tapping across the top of the bar. Surtr was obviously deep and thought and strangely enough wasn't wearing a top. He had his pants but no jacket and because no jacket he had no top. His bare chest was out and with it his giants three eyed crow tattoo was on display. Many the night caller walked by tracing the tattoo and offering their services for a fee. Surtr would smile politely before declining resuming his drinking.

He did not pay for flesh although he couldn't fault the women for trying. It was rather impressive their determination. He had been coming here for hundreds of years, and the woman knew him and he knew them. Though he had never once paid for their company. It wasn't to say he had never enjoyed said company but that coin had never been spent for it. He let out a deep sigh his mind obviously deep in thought as he continued to drink.

A smooth touch would snap the mans mind out of the pensive trance he was in. He rather playful smirk picked up as he was about to decline yet another advance from the employees tonight, that was until a box suddenly appeared at the bar. His eyes darted over to the currier and his smirk seemed to soften. It changed into smile one had when they saw someone they missed. "Kami... welcome, what do you have here?" He inquired looking to the box before taking another sip.

"Trying to butter me up eh?" He asked playfully not touching the box until she explained its contents, it was rude to open things without giving the one who go the gift a chance to explain. One could see the man was rather excited though, it was apparent he couldn't wait to see what lay within.

As she handed him the box and explained Surtr smirked softly. "Well let me pay you for your work." He said softly opening the box and seeing it's contents. His smirk seemed to grow into a pleased grin as he looked upon her work with admiration. "Quite skilled.... should I change here?" Surtr inquired playfully insinuating he would fully undress and redress right now in front of Kami.

Before she could answer he would disappear with the box and its contents. After about thirty seconds he would walk through the doorway of the brothel and sit down next to her adorning his freshly made outfit in full. "Come here often?" He teased intentionally throwing a cheesy pick up line her way to mess with her. He fully remembered their conversation the other night and was having a moment of fun. It was obvious he was in a good mood and enjoyed the outfit. "How did you get my sizes so accurate? Especially the pants it's like you knew all my dimensions to the inch." He said looking down a. It confused in all honesty. He didn't remember her going near that half of his body and yet the pants fit like a freaking glove. "So you made me a shirt huh? Didn't like the idea of me wandering about shirtless all the time?" He asked playfully. He seemed to be a bit energetic right now a side effect from getting such a wonderful gift.

As she refused payment Surtr's brow furrowed for a moment. He'd pay her back he'd find a way. A light bulb went off as suddenly he reached into the folds of his newly acquired coat and pulling out a pound of gold setting it on the bar table. "Her tabs good... indefinitely." He said sliding the brick over and smirking as the bar keep seemed to begin breathing heavy as he quickly took the bar and stuffed it down underneath. Now that the debt was paid Surtr could enjoy his evening and the company that came with it.

He unfortunately missed the red face Kami put on as he was busy changing but he did get to see the brightness in her smile as he spoke. It was radiant, it seemed to warm him the same way the sun warmed the earth. As she spoke about how she managed to get his measurements he seemed to ponder the idea for a bit. "I suppose that's true. I was able to feel the curves of your body..." He said going off on a tangent for a moment before refocussing. "Still you certainly have an eye for this." He said confessing that he didn't think he could so accurately measure her sizes by something like that.

As she spoke to her reasoning he nodded. "Good to hear, I was going to be a bit embarrassed if you had already grown tired of my physique." He said taking a sip of his mead while hearing her final proposition. As she finished he smirked setting down his drink. "What did you have in mind? Company is always welcome." He said playfully, accepting Kamis offer to have her join him this evening. He had been deep in thought but such things could certainly be pushed away for now.

Surtr smirked as she seemed taken aback by the display he just put on. "This way you can order whatever drink you like whenever you like." Surtr said with a playful smirk, he found her reaction extremely cute. How funny it was to see a woman like this. She seemed to entertain him to no end. "I'm not sure, perhaps some magic or you stole my clothes while I was sleeping...." He said chuckling softly teasing her a bit enjoying the rise it got off of her.

As she mentioned him touching her as she walked in he nodded softly before taking a deep drink of mead. "Yes, quite a nice touch you have. You're welcome to do it again.... if you like." He said leaning in a bit his playful gaze peering at her intently. He was intending to tease her all night if he could. He couldn't help it, seeing just a flare of pink across her cheeks seemed to make him forget about everything and just enjoy it.

She then mentioned the night and Surtr nodded softly. "Well I'll let you lead the way so this night can go however you like." He said for once not teasing Kami and offering her the chance to have the night go exactly as she'd want.

Surtr chuckled softly at her remark. "I would never..." He said playfully before taking a sip of his drink. As she spoke of prying into his mind his eyes seemed to widen for a moment as if intrigued by the proposition. "Really now? Intend to go diving in? That would be quite the feat." He said softly impressed by the surge of bold words that Kami seemed to be using. Something was giving her quite the level of confidence he was rather entertained by it to be sure.

As she scooted closer Surtrs gaze shifted down watching the hand of hers slide over and caress his stomach. Surtr was not beefy but he made up for in definition, something he was sure she was enamored with right about now. As she move in whispering those words to him Surtr smirked softly looking her in the eyes as he prepared his rebuttal. Though instead of answering witty remark with witty remark he moved forward in a swift but fluid motion his arms around wrap around her as his lips met hers. It was as the saying went, he swept her off her feet before allowing her a brief but passionate kiss before setting her back down. "They left the moment you walked in." He whispered before returning to his stool and taking a drink of mead. He normally wasn't the one to do that but he couldn't help but attempt to catch her off guard. To pounce at such a perfect moment was too ideal. Surtr had attempted to flip the board, to shift the game and now he waited to see just how well his move played out.

As she spoked Surtr smirked. "That would be the mead..." He said playfully humbling himself. This game was fun but Surtr was wary, she seemed to be falling for him. A dangerous thing, she reminded Surtr of himself when he was younger. "I'm sure it happens quite often." Surtr said in reply to her words about being the only thing on her mind. He was sure she drew the gaze of many a man, after all only a few night ago she had the mage king beckoning at her side.

As she requested to ditch this place with a few bottles Surtr smirked before reaching over the bar and grabbing a couple. He rose and awaited her to exit a soft smile across his lips. "Take care of what I said the night we met." Surtr whispered into her ear before beginning to walk out slow enough for her to easily catch up should she choose. He issued his warning a second time, he did not want her to make he same mistake he did. He did not want her to fall for a mage who was clearly not the type to be fallen for.
