Charlie gave Harmony a grateful smile. He had not been looking forward to trying to hold on the whole time.
"Well, first we're going to have to find a space to set up camp," he explained, "Everyone is either in a tent or camper thing for the weekend. There's going to be a lot of people and loud music. Oh, and vendors selling their merchandise. And lots of good food!" He licked his lips at the thought. "It's a little like camping, only with a lot more people and a lot more to do."

"I've been to one or two before," Jack added, appearing from behind their seat, "Usually do get away from my dad. The past couple of years I've been going with the ghosts."
He sighed, "Sure is nice to get away and not have to worry about anything," he said, exhaling deeply.

Lapis sat next to Peridot and Steven on the bus, and she had insisted on sitting by the window. She stared out of it, watching the scenery go by and wondering what this festival was like. She turned to Steven.
"Have you ever been to one of these festivals before, Steven?" she asked him.

Ghosts of the Mansion "Melody and I go to these sort of things all the time," Jarvis said to Jack. "It's one of the things we enjoy doing. She usually takes her kids along with her as well."

"Have you ever been to one of these festivals before, Steven?" she asked him. "Nope!" Steven answered proudly. "But I'm sure this is going to be so much fun! I can't wait to get there! What are you going to do first? What is there to do there anyways?"

Lapis smiled warmly at him.
"I've never been to one of these either, Steven," she told him, "I wouldn't know. Though hopefully the bands are better at playing their instruments than Peridot." She couldn't help but take a shot at her well meaning room mate.

Peridot turned to frown at her friend.
"Well then they must be the best," she snapped. "Because my instruments playing is amazing. Just like everything else I do." She folded her arms with a huff.

Amethyst, who was sitting in the next seat over, looked at Peridot with an amused expression.
"Well if you play anything like you did last time, I'm sure you're right, Peri," she said, a wide grin on her face.

Pinkie Pie jittered excitedly in her seat as the bus roared along. She turned to the others on the bus.
"This is so exciting!" she said, "I can't wait for all the fun stuff! I'm gonna get my boogey on!"
