"Could always blare music." He said as weak offering, and then, somber he went quiet and listened.
He listened to nothing, and tried to think of a moment, a place detached from here, in a similar room, with just him.
The mug was brought back to his lips to return some warmth from the cold that through brought.
"Sorry. I'm keeping you up with that random interrogation. You should sleep."

Jordan fell quiet as well, drinking his tea and letting his thoughts move in slow, dismal circles. "I ought to grab a shower," he said after a moment. "I'll keep it quiet so as not to keep you up, if you're going to sleep."

"Ah, don't worry about it. Showers just sound like rain to me. I'll be dead asleep anyways once I hit the couch, so no need to tip toe." He said, taking his mug to clean real quick before deciding he really should lay down and get some sleep before he had to work tomorrow.
"Have a good night and....thanks. For talking. I mean, sucks but still. Glad misery has company. Not alone in this."

Jordan drained his tea, then saluted with the empty mug. "Cold comfort, but sort of comforting nonetheless," he said, and went to wash the mug out before he turned back towards the bedroom. "Good night."

Sliding back onto the couch, he got comfortable, closed his eyes, and took comfort in the pitter patter of the shower.
Despite sharing a dorm, at least his thoughts were private.
