His crystal blue eyes blinking ever so lightly while the hood moved from his head. His mouth exhaling a bit as he turned back a little. "I've never felt that I was interesting enough to follow. Unless ya found out I took something." He'd call back to his new companion in a sense. His mouth in his cocky smirk while he stopped his advance, lifting his head. he'd look to the sun as he crossed his arms nodding a bit. "If anything we could search towards the north for him for a few hours, That's atleast where the lead tells us to search." He'd say while pulling the goggles over his eyes and walking towards the north with his gauntlet in seemingly glowing as he walked forth, awaiting to hear the crunch of her feet as well as his own. His knowledge of the desert limited, his information and tracking skills trying to weigh it out. ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ▄▀▄ ▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▀▄▀▄▀ ▄▀▄▀▄▀ ▄▀▄ ▀▄

Congratulations, you've found a lead. You get a +1 to your next dice roll. You manage to find some tracks in the sand. Due to dust storms, it's difficult to discern what has made them, yet you can still follow them.

NASHTA SAYIL - - - - - lookingforentertainment "Half Elf" → 100% → Bored Nashta grinned back at the kid as she caught up to him. "Hoh? Interesting? How do you know I'm not some kinda predator just trying to get you alone so I can gobble you up, hmm?" she joked, a daring look flashing in the eyes she forgot the original color of. The woman giggled with a shrug. "Maybe the idea of a foreigner in the desert is too dismal for my girlish heart. You said you had escorts here, didn't you? And you're just going to walk right in to the sands? Quite confident..." He then explained the general time and direction of what exactly they were looking for...
"North it is, then! Lead the way!" Perhaps they'd cross by something she'd be somewhat more willing to eat...

She seemed to have more words than a usual teenage, which is what she looked like, though from the way she spoke on the edge, there much be some wisdom to her words. "For such a desert rose's thorns will slay the scavenger due to it's undying curiosity, and it's natural laxedness." He'd retort to her first comment before looking to the ground. His eyes would blink slowly as he let the hands rest inside of his pockets and his head lob upwards. It seemed they were following something. Though it was hard to tell. He didn't want to activate clairvoyance, less they lose time on pondering, and her interests would raise, which may make her more interested in his wares than she already is. His mouth would let out a slight chuckle as he turned to her with his head high. "Dismal? Me? That's good for a laugh. I'm the chippest chip in all of the wood pile." He'd boast a bit before sticking his chest out and laughing afterwards. His gauntlet would slap upon his side before he stepped forth and looked back. "But honestly, I feel those 4 would just slow me down on this part of the journey, because hopefully soon. Things will get, interesting...Or atleast some treasure will appear." He'd poke fun as he continue watching the trails, not knowing what this next hour would hold. ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ▄▀▄ ▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▀▄▀▄▀ ▄▀▄▀▄▀ ▄▀▄ ▀▄

Congratulations, you found a low-level treasure and you still have your +1 to your next roll. Following the tracks, you come across a bedroll lying on the ground. There is nothing special about it, just a bedroll, but you notice the tracks are continuing along a path that you can still follow.

NASHTA SAYIL - - - - - lookingforentertainment "Half Elf" → 100% → Bored Nashta tilted her head to the side at his curious statement before smiling slightly. Maybe he wasn't such a kid after all, but...who could tell? Either way, they were already pretty far from the city, so if she wanted to attack him, the ooze probably could without too much consequence. Abelid was...aware of her and even contacted her for more specific matters, so long as she didn't cause public disturbance or ate the wrong person. So far, things had been pretty stable in that relationship. Still, things had gotten pretty boring lately... That was probably why she was following this guy around like some lost dog...
Chipper was certainly right. It was hard not to smile at his attitude. "Hopefully, indeed!" she'd chime. If I get too bored, things might end badly for ya. Heehee~

It seemed he had stumbled upon something he hadn't thought he'd stumble upon so soon, and as he walked forward, he'd kick forth a bed roll, slightly covered by sand, though his mouth let out a laugh at it. "I got cha, you b*****d. Leaving us a gold trail right to the treasure." He'd call out while looking to the bed roll and picking it up, without much worry about anything being on it. "Who ever left this, can't have gone too far away." After saying this, he'd look back to Nashta and put a hand on the back of his head. "Speaking of this journey...Could you inform me of what your name might be? I mean curious is a nice name, but I doubt it's yours." He'd say while closing his eyes. The sun wasn't peaked which meant he could let his hood down a bit as he began to transverse the area once more, holding the bed sack, rolled up under his arm. Well, it seems that you were so entranced by the trail that you managed to lose your way following it. Looking back, you notice that the sand has obscured the trail that you followed, making it impossible to backtrack. Please roll a d20 to determine whether or not you are lost for additional turns.

NASHTA SAYIL - - - - - lookingforentertainment "Half Elf" → 100% → Bored Nashta couldn't help but think that this guy was certainly optimistic at the sight of a bed roll. Something like that, something so common, anyone could've left if there. Why exactly did he think that this would lead them to great treasure? The ooze narrowed her eyes for just a moment before the kid mentioned something that turned the woman's face nearly as pink as her actual form. How desperate she must have looked following around some strange guy! What a rudimentary thing to neglect! Had it honestly been so long since she'd had an extended conversation with someone!? No, no~ I'm not like that! Not at all! I just wanna have fun and eat thing, that's all~! The woman whined to herself as the guy introduced himself as Jem, the great thief Jem. Luckily for Nashta, the title was enough to get her mind off her little slip up.
"Wouldn't one not want to openly address themselves as a thief? Let alone a great one? How dangerous and bold of you to let such things out!" Her eye twitched a bit when the kid just stuffed the bedroll under his arm. He's actually keeping it?! A little surprised, Nashta simply cleared her throat before continuing. "I'm not so great as to hold such a title. Curious is not my name; it's Nashta."

J E M ▄ ▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▀▄▀▄ ▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▀▄▀▄ ▀▄▀▄▀ ▄▀▄▀ ▄ ❝..Diamond in the Rough..❞ ┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ He held the bed roll as the other hand, under the jacket began to tie it to his back pouch under the cape while he looked back to her, seeing the pink on her face. Was it the heat? Was it his face? No it was her face from what he could tell. He then smiled a bit, and brightly as she got distracted by the name he presented to her. Most people wouldn't sell a trade such as being a thief, though Jem was a bit different as his eyes closed. "You see, someone who wasn't confident in being one of the best would make no word of his craft, but if you are an artist, you want the world to know of your work. Mine just so happens to be, a one of trickery, and hand tricks." He'd call back, as he looked forward. His eyes blinked slowly as he tilted his head. His smile blanked as he sweat a bit. He hadn't noticed the footprints veered. His mouth closed tight for a moment while she seemed to be introducing herself. His eyes quickly scoured the area and before turning back around, he put on the facade of a carefree smirk. "Nashta eh? Nice call tag. Does it mean anything in your homeland?" He'd say, trying to distract as he attempted to find their path once more. ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ▄▀▄ ▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▀▄▀▄▀ ▄▀▄▀▄▀ ▄▀▄ ▀▄

Congratulations, you are no longer lost! Your character manages to find a landmark that is very familiar to the citizens of Abelid. Zarina's eternal ice covers a small shack, spreading out quite a ways across the sand. There are many soldiers frozen solid, for eternity, with their weapons stuck in the ground and frozen as well. Lucky for you, this ice is harmless now, despite still existing. Near this ice structure, you also find a steel sword! Lucky you! You may proceed to roll 2d8 for your next roll.

NASHTA SAYIL - - - - - lookingforentertainment "Half Elf" → 100% → Bored An artist, huh? Although you do seem to enjoy your work when it comes to such things, many would disagree with you, Mr. Jem. "Hmm... I do suppose that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, isn't it?" she asked with a smile. As she did so, the slime looked out across the desert landscape. Many a people would also believe that what she found beauty in was cruel and grotesque. Nash once again licked her lips. Uwah! I'm starving! Not really...but agh! She didn't actually feel any sort of hunger, not for the sake of living at least, but there was always some sort of craving to partake in her favorite pass time. Unfortunately, she'd already taken enough interest in this kid to not turn into a monstrous slime and envelope him in her body. The ooze quickly scanned the area for anything: a small animal, a bird, some stupid man pretending to be a "bandit." Anythiiiing.
Nastha met eyes with the boy when he looked back at her, asking if her name had any meaning behind it. She grinned rather proudly, placing her fists on her hips. "Of course! It's- It's..." It was slowly dawning on her that, though she knew there was most definitely a meaning, she'd forgotten it. Moving a hand from her waist to her chin, she took a moment to try to remember as she walked behind the young man. "Something... to do with the ocean, I think. I... I'm not sure." There were plenty of things that she'd forgotten over time, but it was hard to keep track of what was there and what wasn't. This was the first time she realized the origin of her name was one of those things. How frustrating. I remembered liking it too... Her perplexed expression suddenly developed into one of discontent.
