 It was rather foolhardy to take food blind from an overenthusiastic doe, but Beauty Past Compare never wasted any consumables, and she wasn't about to start now. Whatever it was, it was at once squishy, bitter, and distinctly disgusting. This festival was doing very badly on the food front for her.

"Um..." Sweet didn't seem so bad at first, but it got sweeter and sweeter... All the same, it felt like it would be impolite to spit it out, so Teller kept at it till it was all gone, collected her token, and slunk off to be sick somewhere else.

It had been pink on the outside, white on the inside. It looked harmless but-. Blue Blood got three bites in before he said he was full. Politely filing that fruit away as 'never again'.

 ( #EEAD0E ) Roll: 4 - You grimace but continue to chew, despite how sweet this is. (Sickeningly sweet at that!) 1 token from Bone Chewer for being such a good sport! Mother of Ancients eyes the fruit, already able to smell how sweet it is. However, she was a good sport so she took a bite, chewing slowly before swallowing. "It is sweet almost to the point of rotting. The texture is very mushy as well."

Sun Sparkle thought the food booth would be interesting to try out, until she tasted the bit of food she was given and gagged audibly. "Oh....oh that's really salty. Yuck." She shook her head at the gross taste, ignoring Bone Chewer's amused laughter as she took her token and almost fled.

Eager to taste something amazing, or amazingly yucky, The Sky is Awake tries something glistening! Eyes going a bit wide at the super sweet taste, tail wiggles as she chews through it, front hooves dancing. "Wow, that was suuuuuper sweet!"

Kiss of Death had come back the next night. and she is hungry. When the food was offered, she gave it a lick and a nibble, and couldn't stop herself no more. it tasted just like raw meat. she loved raw meat. fresh too. her manners left her side as she ate the entire chunk like a savage beast. sooo tastyyy. When she was done, she licked her lips dry and thanked the doe. it was just what she needed before a good night's sleep. Quote: 1. The mystery food Bone Chewer gave you tastes great! Defiant grimaced as she bit into the... thing given to her. It was hard and round and disgusting. "Is... is this dirt?" she said, wrinkling her nose. "I don't think this is really food. I'm fairly certain this is just a dried mud ball. Ew."

Daydream Haze decided to try the mystery food so she closed her eyes. She managed to grab whatever it is but as soon as she did so it fell from her mouth and into the dirt. "Yuck!" she exclaimed.

"So do you...cook?" asked Wild Green Stone. "That sounds pretty wild." But he'd have tried anything once, right?
And he definitely wasn't going to have regrets about this delightful concoction. Savory and substantial, with a hint of a pure, grainy sweetness - what was this? It had the gaminess of boar, but he'd never had it in this combination before. "Maybe I should give this cooking thing a try," he said, shaking his head. This was pretty wild, after all.

A mystery food? Pit hadn't tried many things yet, and it was sort of a curiosity. Here, have this odd thing. He sort of wanted to try it. He chewed it, slowly, and crunched it It was some what sweet and sharp citrus tang. It was actually rather good and Pit ended up inhaling it. mmhm. 1. The mystery food Bone Chewer gave you tastes great! In fact you're pretty sure this is your favorite food now. (What does it taste like though?) 2 tokens since you chowed down pretty quick!

Mushroom takes a taste and nods at first before slowly stopping and screwing up her face. What was this? Why did she eat it? "It has an aftertaste, but... I don't hate it. I don't like it, but I don't hate it either, I think it'd go good if it was mixed with something," she says, taking the token for the effort.

 ( burlywood ) Roll: 2 - Hm. You're not sure how you feel about this one. It's okay at first but the more you chew, the less uncertain you are about it. (What is that strange underlying taste?) 1 token though Bone Chewer is as uncertain about giving you a token, as you were about eating that food. Ancient Song was not at all sure why she had decided to try this booth. Strange foods from an unknown kin? To be sure, at first she'd been fine. The food tasting like something Snailshell would bring back after a hunt. But with each passing moment, it started to taste more and more.. off. Had it been allowed to rot? "It tastes like wild rabbit, with a hint of something foul.." she responds to the doe, who had some need to hear what it tastes like. And given the now distinct flavor of meat gone bad, Ancient Song understands why the doe isn't just eating the foods herself. Not sure it was worth a token, and hoping she doesn't become ill, Ancient Song leaves.

The crunch felt nice, crisp and...so familiar...almost like she'd realised where that half apple had gone. "I'm glad you're not taking payment for this," she murmured, eating the rest of her well deserved apple.
