Ozzrick || 1
Ozzrick was almost ready to leave. Or, half of him was.
To be fair to the situation, he had always enjoyed the grand market in years past, and his troupe, of course, capitalized on it every year they could. It was a breeding ground of perfect circumstances for their particular form of art: waiting crowds, a spirit of revelry, and coin ready to be had on all accounts. People came to spend money and exchange goods, services, and ideas.
But, they were soon to travel to Oba.
Ozzrick couldn’t say why precisely and certainly didn’t overthink the matter himself, but just the concept was thrilling to him. Though he had travelled all his life, never had he been so far as the blazing desert, and over the course of the past several years, the art and business of his mother and caretakers had felt less and less like his permanent path. He wanted to see for himself what was out there and felt an eager, giddy anxiousness prickle under the skin at the thought. Part of him wanted to go now.
But that part would have to wait. In the meantime, he did enjoy the activity, the people, and—
—did that woman have purple hair?
“If you’re lost…” Ozzrick began, appearing just behind and to the woman’s side in what might as well have been the blink of an eye, “…I’ve lived this area all my life and would be happy to help a traveler if I might.”
And, upon closer inspection, a traveler she was indeed. From her deep purple hair to her strange, bordering-eerie eyes, to the inky black crystals on her body—he’d never seen anything of her like in his life.

Estellaina Post 2
The sudden appearance of an unknown stranger at her side caused her to panic, and before she could really react she found herself driving her elbow into whatever she could get a purchase on. If she were back home she would have suspected a ghost or some other strange beast, but upon closer inspection she realized that he was just a man. Well, a boy. He seemed to be around her age, dark skin and fiery red hair. If she hadn't just driven her elbow hard into what she assumed was his muscled abdomen she would have reached out and inspected the man more. The shade was an interesting tone as was the man's clothing. Well, she supposed lack of clothing rather. Did these strange Earthlings like the idea of running around half naked? It seemed incredibly odd to her given the circumstances and the weather. Even in her dress she felt a bit chilly and this man was wearing all sorts of cold jewelry and no clothing on his upper half. What was he thinking?
"You there. Strange Earthling. Who are you? I apologize for assaulting you, but do you plan on leading me astray? I will have you know I am trained in the ways of the blade. Do not underestimate my skills," she huffed out, hands crossing over her chest more defensively.
The man was still a bit of a distraction to her with his features, but she would just have to quell her curiosity for the moment until she got a better read on who the man in front of her was.
"Kindly state your name, strange man."

Xariy Post 1
"You know, I haven't been in one place that long, Kauff," Xariy chuckled, carrying her hefty pack of goods on her back. She had agreed to go in her parents' stead to the festival to sell some of the wares she had acquired, and now that she was out and about a bit more she did miss it. Being in one spot for the time had made her gain a little weight among other things, and she didn't like it one bit. She wouldn't be telling Kauff she regretted it though. The man was already fidgety enough, and she was sure at the sign of her own restlessness he would want to run off once again.
"One of these days you'll get tired of running yourself, old man," she joked, nudging him gently as they continued to walk. She wasn't sure if that was true or not though. He was always avoiding things, much more than she ever had.

Jerami - Post 2
Jerami glanced at Jhana, then gave the place a once over, taking in all he could from their vantage point before he said, "Not sure if we could see it all... but we can at least try?" He didn't mind making the attempt because it meant that they would be able to shop around and he could get the best deals for the various things that they wanted to buy. For him it was the sewing supplies but what was it that his sisters were after? It was Shima who first announced what it was that she was after before trying to laugh it off as a joke.
His antennae gave a little twitch before he said to Shima with a gentle smile on his face, "I don't see why we can't look around, see if they have some nice spears here, maybe those meant for a beginner? I'm sure a blacksmith would know the best sort of spear for someone just starting out." He turned to Jhana and asked, "Is there anything in particular that you're wanting to look for, Jhana?"
As Shima turned the same question of them, wondering what they wanted to do. He gave a humming sound, "Well, I'm always after pretty cloth... something to make new clothing out of. If there is anything that either of you would like me to make just show me what cloth you'd like it made out of and I will do my best for you two." To be able to make something for others then himself seemed like an exciting prospect, if a bit intimidating if only because he'd never done so before. A good way to get his mind off things if you asked him.
Glancing around again, checking what was nearby, Jerami found his aqua eyes locking on a certain someone in the crowd... and he couldn't help but to stare a moment, his cheeks coloring ever so slightly. Ah, so he was here too? He would have to try to catch up with him sometime soon since it had been a while since he'd caught up with his dear friend he thought to himself. He lifted a hand, waving at Drexl for a moment, hoping that maybe he saw, before turning back to Shima. His sister was telling them to stick close so as not to get lost and he nodded, "Yeah, I would hate to get separated from the two of you in this crowd... I fear I might never find you again." Something that had him stepping a bit closer to them, with Bruin shuffling a couple steps closer to Jerami, as though wanting to stick very close.
