Jerami gave a smile, his antennae giving a little bounce before he said, "Aww, thank you. That is very kind of you, little sister." It was nice of her to offer to find himself something pretty in exchange for the feather. He just hoped that he would be able to find the pair of them some nice firebird feathers one day. It might take him some doing but he'd really like to do it.

As she asked him what his favorite color was he gave a smile, "I think it would have to be a nice, dark blue, like the sky at night. What about you? What sorts of colors do you like, Subira?"

"Oooo, that is a nice color too." He would have to keep that in mind so that maybe he could find her a gift in that color just in case he found himself unable to find firebird feathers. He wondered what sorts of things he should look at. Likely things that wouldn't be ticklish since she'd mention that feathery decorations were prone to trying to do that.

Giving a smile and a nod Jerami said, "I swim sometimes in the rivers near to Andile... though I can't say I've ever swam in the ocean before. I might have to try it sometime if you think it would be a fun place to try to swim." The only downside to swimming was his hair risking becoming a giant mess... but other then that it was a fun way to spend a day. Especially the hotter days that Jauhar had during the summer months.

Jerami gave a little bit of a chuckle as Subira mention that the ocean was 'fun but not meant for drinking' He nodded his head and said, "I will be careful not to drink any when I visit the ocean when we go to visit it one day." The more that the little sister talked about the ocean the more that he really wanted to go and visit it. She made it sound so interesting!

"I look forward to visiting the ocean with you, Subira. You will how to show me how best to run from the waves." He said, feeling that if it was something that she did often that it was something she could teach him. Especially since all of his water experience was with fresh water, not salt water. There were currents in the rivers, sure, but not waves. As such it would be a different sort of experience, one that he was rather looking forward to.

Jerami lifted a hand to smother a giggle as Subira started to run in place, showing him how he was supposed to run away from the waves, "Alright, I should be able to do that." He was sure it would likely be a bit different when he was actually running from the waves and it might take practice but it would be fun. It it was a lot of fun then he would have to see if his sisters or even Drexl wanted to join him for a trip to the ocean at some later date.

"You can already float? Nice, that is an important first step when it comes to swimming. Once you're ready you will have to let me know. I will see about getting us a nice picnic together so we can eat it on the beach!"

"Berries, huh? Alright, I will be sure to find a nice variety of them for us to enjoy during our picnic." He said, thinking about the various ones that grew in Jauhar and some other fruits that would go along nicely with them. He might be able to make them a nice fruit salad to enjoy but what else should he make? He would need to think about it, maybe test some ideas out on his sisters?

"Oh? Do you?" He glanced toward the woman that was coming their way before he gave a smile, "Alright. It was nice talking with you, little sister. I will see you again when you're ready for out trip." He could only hope that it would all work out. Surely if her mother was against her daughter making friends with someone like Jerami she'd of said so before now, right? That was his thought on the situation at least and he could only hope that his assumption was correct.

Giving a smile he said, "I hope the rest of your day goes well, little sister Subira."
