"It has its uses, I prefer to no rely on it though." He stopped walking while Takuto punched the wall "How did you see that?" Nate stubbed his cigarette out on a wall and put what was left back in his pocket, he had grown accustomed to never leaving anything behind. Even if they did burn this place down, which was more of a certainty than anything, he didn't want some sort of time wizard coming through pointing out the things he had left behind. He wasn't actually sure time wizards existed but why take the chance. "Well there a guy at the end of the corridor, he's just standing there though, pretty sure he thinks he's behind cover." He wasn't being quiet about it and as soon as he finished speaking the man retreated deeper into the room he was hiding in. Nate shook his head and contemplated leaving Takuto to hunt the guy down but he knew better than that. It was probably a trap. "Try password, or one slash one then as many zero's as possible." Nobody would ever guess the password if it was a fraction. Or that was his way of thinking anyway. The door slid open and Nate poked his head inside, just computers, not the guns or food he had been looking for. "You want to try hacking in? Maybe get a map of the complex, that's a thing people do right? Keep maps of their work places on computers." It sounded silly when he said it aloud.

He glanced around the room that Takuto had just opened and then when he was sure that this was the only entrance and goons wouldn't storm in from nowhere once his back was turned, he nodded. "Alright, but don't wander off. Or leave a note, I mean your like twenty, your a big man now." He left Takuto to his work and entered the room at the end of the corridor, he was right it had been an ambush but at the same time it was quite easy to deal with since he knew it was coming. A man to his right swung a chair at him as he enter, Nate responded by charging his finger and stabbing it into the man's eye, there was a brief pause as the others in the room slowed to a stop to watch. The man reeled back and as he did the force from the blast caught up to him and both of his eyes exploded into a cloud of bloody mist. The others, realising what they were dealing with began to lay down arms when Nate addressed them. "Even if you stop, don't think for one second that I will do the same." He followed his statement up by rushing one of the others and sticking the stun rod right in his mouth. A few minutes later as he was wiping the blood off his hands he heard Takuto shout, he returned to the room, only slightly bloodier than before. "I found a snack bar, which I ate. What did you find?" He looked at the screen but was kind of hoping Takuto would explain so he wouldn't need to read.

Nate listened carefully, wanting to know the end goal of the organisation before he started making any plans. "I see." He rubbed his eyes as he processed the information and then breathed out as he realised that this was much bigger than he had initially thought. "Right, the priority is the kids and getting them out, agreed." He paused but not really long enough for Takuto to give a proper answer. "Here's the working plan, set off your alarm or whatever you said and then lead me over to the armoury, once I get a weapon I don't think we'll have any real issues getting about." He stopped to read the air, this was no longer just about rescuing kids and killing their kidnappers, this was bigger and they had to plan for that. "Right, once we get to the main hub are you going to be able to scan a copy of their systems? I would have you look through it here and now but I want you in a secure location." He didn't mean to sound overbearing but it would be a hell of a lot easier for both of them if they could do any sort of computer work at a later date. "Our objectives are three fold, destroy this facility and kill the guards, escape with the civilians and secure as much enemy Intel as possible. Any questions? If not, then lets get to work." He grinned.

Nate watched and ate his snack bar, it tasted like cardboard and wood chippings but it was better than nothing he supposed to himself. He moved too the door as staring at a screen was making his eyes tired and pressed himself up against the door. "Got it boss." He grinned and looked at the screen, it was a complicate mess of lines but he understood roughly where to go, down the corridor and hang a left. "Go." He gave a signal but Takuto seemed to already be at work. He waited in the shadows for the guards to pass and then sprinted out of the room to the armoury along with Takuto. He stood guard as the kid worked the door and slipped inside after him. "I don't ask for much in life but this room is paradise." He picked up a pistol and a couple of spare magazines, he was about to put them in his pocket when he noticed a familiar looking weapon sat on top of the desk in the middle of the room, his old familiar. He put the gun he had picked up back and pulled out some slightly larger ammunition before walking over and collecting his M1911. He didn't know how it had got here but it would be the last time it left his sight. "Good. Just try not to shoot me in the back." He loaded his pistol and passed him two more magazines. "Put those in your pockets, I doubt I'll need them but you never know. Right, lets get you to that hub." He was about to leave when he noticed a selection of grenades and couldn't help but picking one up for the road.

Nate glanced over at the rifle Takuto had managed to get his hands on and thought about warning him of the recoil, but decided against it, he found it was better to experience something rather than just hear it. Besides he was curious what would happen when the kid fired it. "Nah, one is more than enough. Their kind of wasted in my hands." Due to his power and the inability to control it properly at times, he often found himself launching them into the stratosphere instead of arching it to land just at the enemies feet. He followed Takuto out, keeping his gun pointed to the ground but walking at a leisurely pace, truth be told now he was armed he really didn't need to care too much about the faceless goons running about down here with them. "Kid, your very jumpy, calm down." He had barely finished his sentence when two guy's appeared in front of them, Nate raised his weapon and fired on one of the men, killing him instantly, and moved to fire on the second when the kid opened fire. He watched the man fall and nodded quietly to himself. "If you don't want it to happen, just put the gun down. It's never too late." He thought he sounded convincing, it was a little hypocritical but probably better than encouraging him to rampage. Once they had made it to the Hub, Nate began making preparations, he was expecting company and if he didn't prepare now they would almost certainly get the drop on them. "Before you trash it, make sure you find out where we can get out from and the best route to get the kids out of. Also some sort of counter to let me know how many people are left would be great." He was really expecting the last part, it was a little much to ask.

Nate hadn't heard what Takuto had said, after he had finished preparing the room to slow down invaders he had stepped outside. If he had learned anything from protecting high profile targets or just being a political assassin it was that you always shot the easy target first, Nate intended to remove that as an option as he left the room. He smashed the keypad to get into the room, which had sealed the door, or at least stopped it from automatically opening to any passing guard who might want to take a pot shot at him. He pressed his back up against the opposite wall and waited patiently for people to start arriving. He casually gunned down two guards who rounded the corner closest to the hub, grabbing a third to use a shield, it had been those that had passed them earlier and he suspect that they would be the first to arrive. The second wave had to run down a long corridor with nothing to use for cover, with a gun in his hand he was easily able to pick off his targets from a distance as they ran to get close and blindfolding into their ally. Nate let go of the man to reload, but grabbed him quickly before he fell, the man was covered in holes and difficult to keep upright but it was better than standing in the open. "Come on, where's that son of a b***h that tried it on with me before." His question was swiftly answered by a chair to the back of the head. Luckily the corpse broke his fall and he was able to role over him and unload the clip into the man's head. He clearly hadn't been expecting it or perhaps he thought he could withstand it, either way his face exploded and fragments of bone exploded out of the back of his head. Nate picked himself up and reloaded, ready for the next group, however nobody came.

Nate wiped the blood off his hand onto his trousers, when he had rolled over the body he had inadvertently pressed his hand up against the man's chest and now it was soaking. "Excuse me? I rip a guy's jaw off and this is what makes you nervous? Are you done with everything?" He reloaded his gun and looked down the sights, it wasn't like he could adjust it but he was worried blood and viscera might have been sprayed onto the barrel. The last thing he wanted was his gun jamming because blood had dried inside. "I already said, the only people who are walking out of here is you, me and those kids. Don't make a liar out of me." He grinned and started off down the corridor, eager to get out. He stopped when he heard his name and turned back to check that nothing was wrong. As he did he caught sight of what Takuto was pointing at. "Could be, I lost the picture though." He looked down and then entered the room to get a better look, he wasn't expecting guards inside a private room like this so didn't bother to check the room. He grabbed Takuto's arm. "Woah, slow down there, you want to carry him or push around a bed? No, I didn't think so, give me a minute to find something a little more mobile." He opened a door off to the side and pulled out a wheelchair.It was lucky really, but he didn't pay it too much mind. "Right, pull the stuff out and I'll help put him in the chair." He moved to his feet and waited for Takuto to finished detaching him, together them managed to put the kid into the wheelchair. "You push him and I'll provide cover fire, did you find out how to get to the rest of them?" He moved to the door and poked his head out to make sure it was safe.

"I don't know, it might be fun carrying him down the stairs." He shook his head, at this point he was clearly using humour to mask both his rage and the sheer disgust he had with everyone here over the age of twenty five. Rage which was directed at the guard with his back to them as soon as the doors opened, he kicked the back of his leg to get him into a kneeling position then shot him point blank in the head, as he fell he lodged himself in the elevator doors. "I dont think I'm going to look like a hero. Caked in blood, carrying a gun, but I'll what I can." He wasnt sure he should even go into the room but he knew he had too, what if the place was packed with scientists. He paused, he hadnt seen any scientists since escaping, there was also few guards than he was expecting. He pushed the thoughts to the back of his mind and followed Takuto into the room. Nate's initial sweep revealed nothing out of the ordinary so he holstered his gun so he would less like a villain. "I'll start on this side." He didn't have a card but it wasn't like he needed one, he pressed his hand up to the lock and blasted his hand against it, practically blowing it off its hinges. "Out quick, go gather with the friendly one." He pointed to Takuto and moved on to the next cell.

He met up with Takuto halfway through and looked at the bed he was pointing at. "They trust you, tell them to wait on this side of the room, I'll check it out." He wasn't being unfriendly to the kids on purpose, but if he could save them without getting attached that would be great, he though. He approached the kid and pulled back the curtain around his bed, he was tied down with several dozen tubes sticking out of him. A bead of sweat rolled down his face and it was then he noticed how hot the room was, the air was shimmering and he could feel the heat coming off this child. "Hey there. Takuto can you come here." He used his soft voice as he addressed the kid but switched over to a slight more urgent tone as he called for his ally. "It's okay, were going to take those tubes out of you." He glanced at Takuto but already knew things were bad. "What is that stuff?" He whispered and moved closer, the temperature rose drastically as he took a step closer to the point where he couldn't physically stand close to the kid.
