Li blinked a couple times as the girl looked the old drunk over and announced suddenly that it was her 'Grandpa' something that had him looking a bit embarrassed, "Ohh... oops..." So that was a member of that strange family of hers, huh? She hadn't even warned him that she had a really strange Grandpa along with all the other weirdos. Giving a whistle to Branko he called out, "Come back, Branko! It seems that it's alright." The snaptrotter gave a huffing sound as the girl fished the old man out of the water, coming to stand next to Li. Leaning against the big snaptrotter he said, "Yeah... sorry about that, Lilif. I just thought he was just some suspicious old man." Alright, he wasn't that sorry given that he had acted in a rather suspicious manner that deserved the reaction that it got from Li and Branko.

The grandpa smiles and chuckles, waves a bit at Li and Branko. "Thanks for entertaining my grand daughter." He chuckles drunkenly. The man giggles and lays his head on the dry ground. Lilif growls and wacks her grandpa in the head hard enough that it almost knocks him out. "Trust me, I'm glad you threw him into the river, he deserved it. I only helped him out due to the fact he's drunk and wouldn't get out of the water and he would have drowned." She says, a bit angrily. "Heeeeeeey, that's not very nice" The grandpa say with a pouty face.

Li looked between the pair then gave a little shake of his head, "I'm almost starting to believe that your family is odder then mine is Lilif... and that is saying something given my uncle and his sense of humor." He said, crossing his arms over his chest as he studied the drunken old man that was Lilif's grandfather. She said that she only helped him out of the river so he wouldn't drown but he doubted that it was just that. She had to love him too or else why would she bother to want to save him? It was kind of funny in a way though he hoped the old man didn't catch wind of the inn or else he might cause problems... which would in turn cause Gyuri to toss him out. Literally. As he settled back down on Branko's back he asked of Lilif, "So, now that he's arrived I take it that you will probably go home? If the man is capable of making it there?" He did seem a little unsteady on his feet. Did that mean that Lilif was going to have to help him back? Did she even know where back was? To be honest it was a little worrisome if you asked Li.

Lilif looked at him for a moment before she asked. “Who’s your uncle?” She said a bit curious. The man looks around a bit, as though he’s looking for someone or some thing. “I thought she said she was coming too..?” He mumbled to himself in a very slurred voice. He tried to sit up but just flopped back down after the attempt failed. Lilif looked down at him. “You know, with how drunk you are, you aren’t gonna be getting far without help.” She says, groaning softly. Lilif sighed a bit and nodded. “Normally it means I’ll be leaving but Tipsy here is just about as good with directions as I am when he’s this drunk” She said in a bit of a huffy tone. “Awww, my grand daughter’s upset” Her grandpa says, hugging. That in turn just makes her more upset with the situation. She sighs, trying too pry him off which is a fruitless venture because of the way he was built.

"His name is Makani, he's a magic user that lives and works at the inn along with various other members of our family." He explained, giving a smile before he turned his head, glancing at the old man who was talking about a 'she' who was supposed to be there with him. It was something that had him looking from side to side, a curious look on his face. Who else was going to be coming along? Someone as weird as her grandfather? He couldn't' help but to wonder who was going to show up next when it came to trying to find the missing Lilif. After glancing around he turned back to look Lilif's way as she dealt with her clingy grandfather. He gave a little shake of his head before he said, "Well, if you guys want to hang out until he sobers up it should be alright." Unless that mysterious 'she' showed up before hand.

“Is he a nice person?” Lilif asked. She tilts her head a bit. “Your aunt said she would come with.. Or did she say she wasn’t.. I forgot” Her grandpa said before he started to laugh like an idiot. Lilif’s eyes widen a bit. “Vinel’s coming” She said with a happy but kind of worried expression. Lilif grumbles, looking at her Grandpa. “It would be nice to wait until he can walk in a straight line.” Lilif said, taking a deep breath before she looked back down at him. “Would you please let go?” She asked the old man in a bit of an irritated tone. “Nooooo” He said, grinning and snuggling her. All three of the people there hear a rustle come from a nearby bush.

Li nodded his head, 'Yeah, my uncle is a great person but he has an odd sense of humor that not everyone gets." He explained, not wanting for Lilif to think that his Uncle Makani was a bad person when he was most definitely the opposite, he was the best person! Giving a little smile he said, "He's a good man, really nice and really smart. So long as you understand he never means anything by his jokes then he's easy to get along with." Glancing at the old man, then back again he said, "Ahh, so your aunt might be coming by then?" Hard to say if that were the case though. The man that she either said that she was coming or that she said she wasn't... it was hard to say then if the woman would show up or not. Her grandpa was... a strange man for sure. One that was most certainly not the reliable sort that much was for sure. Giving a little shake of his head he said, "Well, best that we keep an eye out for her... just in case?" He looked down at Branko, sure that if a woman showed up that he'd be the first to notice. Looking back at Lilif and her grandpa he watched for a time, shaking his head a little. They really were an odd pair. At the sound of foot fall in the brush he turned his head to the side in turn with Branko, looking for the one making the sound.

Lilif smiles at that, Glad that his Uncle was a god man. She chuckles a bit. “I’m glad he’s good.” She says. “What kind of humor does he have?” She asks while tilting her head a bit. She smiles a bit, looking at Li. “Maybe, I kind of hope so.” She says, smiling. Lilif looks down at Her grandpa, still trying to pry him off of her. She huffs and he smiles, snuggles closer. She grumbles and continues to try to get him off of her because she’s overheating a bit. The two come face to face with a wind woman. She blinks a bit as she stares at the two, slowly looking down at Lilif and her Grandpa. “Was he thrown into the river?” She asked calmly, looking back at Li. Lilif looks at the woman. “Vinel” She says, grinning widely.

"The strangest sort." He said with a laugh while referring to his uncle's sense of humor. Turning to look toward the one who was on her way over to them, nearly falling off of Branko when he took a couple hurried steps forward toward her. He gave the snaptrotter a little nudge and said, "Branko. Behave yourself!" Turning to look at the woman he watched her as she came over, seeming to inspect the two in front of her, and he would guess that it was the one they were waiting on. As she asked about the old man falling in the river he could only nod saying, "Yeah, there was a misunderstanding between Branko and the old man." He explained, hoping that she wouldn't be too upset by the fact that the snaptrotter had sent the man swimming. Here was to hoping since he really didn't want her complaining to anyone at the inn when it was all just a big misunderstanding on the part of the reptile. He gave a smile and said, "So you must be Lilif's aunt? It's nice to see you arrived." Especially given the old man didn't even know if she was actually coming or not.

Lilif chuckles at his response, laughing a bit when he nearly fell of his buddy. Vinel slowly looked at Branko, chuckles a bit and pat’s his head. “That was cute.” She says, smiling a bit. Lilif sat is shock, gasping. “She smiled, It’s the end of the world!” She yelled. Vinel slowly looks at her, blinking a bit. Vinel looks at Li. “Trust me, No one in the family is gonna get upset about your friend throwing him into the river… Maybe my mom but that because it’s his wife but we won’t tell on you.” She says, finding it funny that her father would cause a misunderstand on this trip. She looks at her father and sighs. “This is what happens when you run- Well stagger a head.” She says. “I’m sowwy” The grandpa says. She groans and helps him up

Li looked between the trio of them before he gave a laugh. A very strange group indeed but at least they were having fun, right? The one called Vinel was likely the one that would lead the out of here and safely home which was that caused Li to give a little sigh of relief. It was good to know that at least one of them was responsible out of the three and would keep them all from getting lost further or hurt. Giving a smile as the woman said that she wouldn't let anyone know that Branko had tossed the man in the river Li said, "Thank you." It was kind of her to protect the snaptrotter from someone that might have a grudge against him. Turning to Lilif he said, "It was nice to meet you Lilif, you and your family. I hope that you stop by again." He stretched out all over before he added, "I should get going though, my lessons are going to start soon and I really don't want to be late." It wasn't something that his mother would abide by, not in the least bit.

Vinel sighs and keeps the two up straight. “You both are so dumb” She says, chuckling a bit. Lilif smiles and laughs. “Yes, we are” She says. The grandpa chuckles, legs shaking as he tries too stands up. He’s struggling, even with the two’s help. Vinel chuckles a bit. “I don’t see why I would tell on him, That would do no one any good” She says, looking around and back at Branko. She smiles at him, and chuckles. Lilif looks at him. “It was nice meeting you as well.” She says smiling. “I’ll try and visit, I promise you that” Lilif said, walking over to him. She gave him a hug and looked up at him as she does so.

Li looked at Lilif as the girl gave him another hug, though this one seemingly not ending with her blushing and moving away from him as though burned. He gave a smile and said, "Well, I will keep an eye out for you then." If she promised to visit then he'd definitely make sure that he watched for her return since he was the only one among those in the inn that had met her. Anyone else might not know who she was and might not think to invite her in or tell him about it. Stepping back he said, "Have a good day, Lilif. Good luck with getting home safely." He gave a nod of his head, waved to Vinel and the grandfather, then turn to Branko, "Come on, buddy, it's time to go back." With that he turned on his heel and headed back toward the inn with a reluctant Branko following along at his heel. While the snaptrotter would likely prefer to stay with the women he knew his task was to protect Li, as such he followed the prentice along, ever watchful over him.

Lilif smiles up at him and pulls away. “Until we meet again, Good friend” She says chuckling a bit. She smiles and pat’s his head and trots back over to her aunt. Her aunt sighs and helps her father stand. Lilif helps her as well. Vinel and Lilif help the grandfather back towards home. Though Lilif felt a bit sad that she had to leave her friend she took a deep breath and went home with her family nonetheless.
